First time here. Clean. Personable. Nice vibe. None of the words I would use to describe a dental…read moreoffice but...they ain't them. This place was so nice. You walk in and it feels warm. The ladies at the front desk were nice. My original appt was for 1pm but I called and Victor was able to get me in at 10 due to a cancellation. Keyona did my X-rays and was so nice and thorough, explaining everything and was so gentle. She had to keep putting that plastic piece in my mouth so I could bite down and she could capture the picture. This was the first time my mouth wasn't aggravated after that. Just her being thorough and taking her time. Dr. Batiste came in after and was everything! Very personable, impeccable chair side manner. Explained everything walked me through all my pictures and was very attentive. I never felt rushed. Jarell did my cleaning and was just as thorough. My teeth clean, clean . You can tell they run a tight ship and care about your teeth here. Now, the decor was everything! When you walk back to be serviced, you walk through glass doors and if not for the cleanings happening in each room, you almost forget its a dental office. The black and gold decor along with the black art on the walls just adds such a nice touch. After you pay, you go out a separate door which is right next to the front door. I wasn't expecting anything but really got a great experience. Also there's a tv jn front of you as you sit in the chair AND one above so you can watch tv as you're leaned back getting work done. I'm not sure why modern medicine, and dr. Appt visits are not this thorough. The devices and xray machines were so technologically advanced and quick! All appointments really should feel like this! UPDATE: I went and sought out a 2nd opinion...since Fort bend Dental Aliana didn't want to help me…read morethe same day...This new dentist evaluated Dr. Barrata's work...it wasn't the adhesive that was the issue....Barrata didn't cut real tooth enough for crown to sit on with good grip...so crown has a wabble effect and caused the crown to fall off.....it wasn't the adhesive...it's that the tooth that the crown sits on wasn't cut small enough for the. -- Initially I thought it was a good place, I only got tooth cleaning done. So, I provided a good review. It takes time to get to know how this organization operates. I had to go back in for a tooth issue where I needed a crown. This is when I started realizing they are not doing something correct. Vinny Barrata is assigned to me as my dentist, he seemed like he knows what he is doing. Anyways, he worked on a tooth of mine..he shaved off the cracks and sized it to set a crown on. Initially had a temporary crown for a couple of weeks while I waited to get my new crown. The problems began after getting my new crown. Note: I have experience with 4 other crowns now been set in my mouth for over 5 years. But the crown that Dr. Barrata did, first try the crown that Barrata set, it popped out in two weeks. I had to go back. Second time, Barratta put a new crown in popped out in 11 months, so I went back recently, Barrata again worked on it...I told him I thought it was the adhesive. But he chose to go the route of using a backup crown that he ordered, and put it on...he still chose to use old adhesive and new crown.. Personally, i told him if he's using the same adhesive, I don't think it will fix it...later the same day in the evening I was having dinner, just eating rice and it popped out again...that's 3 times a crown popped out worked on my tooth by Dr. Barrata. I called the Aliana dental folks asking for help today and they rejected to help me stating Barratta is at another office and the dentist Lana on site cannot assist...so basically saying to me that you need to wait for Dr. Barrata...while I suffer with a jagged tooth. This company operates like a ma and pop shop. The help who was assigned to my case, I found that Dr. Barratta was letting her shave the new crown. I asked the help are you dentist...cuz I was like why is she shaving my tooth...shouldn't a licensed professional be shaving my tooth....she was not a licensed profession...she was Barrata's help basically...when I accused her of not being a dentist...that's immediatly when Barrata stepped it. What I discovered is these dentists that work here 100% empower help/unlicesend folks to pick up some of the work dentists should ideally be doing. Immidiatly Barrata started working on my tooth after I accused the non licensed person of not being a dentist and why she was working on my crown saving and shaping....so messed up. Anyways, same day after Barrata put in a new crow FOR THE 2nd time, he cannot get it right the first time apparantly...same evening a 3rd time my crown fell out while eating rice. I called next morning to get appointment...they were forcing me to wait another day to work with Dr. Barrata...and they kept saying they want to use the same adhesive...but here I am struggling with the back of my toungue cutting up against a shaved tooth since there is no crown....they make me suffer until Barrata gets back to the Richmond location from the Rosenburg location...they asked me to go to the Rosenberg location...but the office manager asked me...I said I cannot, I work from home and they seem to not understand that I have work...going back for fallen crown repeatedly is unaccepted...3 times worked on my by Barrata..I had to go back...they do care I'm sufferring..would not let me see the other dentist on site named Lana. Anyways, I am never going back to this location.....they are kind of getto...and will be advising folks to stay clear of this dental organization going forth. Barrata doesn't know how to keep a crown glued on past 11 months in my experience. Buyer be aware is all.

I always check Yelp when looking for new companies and services. I called yesterday, spoke to Cathy who was incredibly kind & helpful! She was able to get us in on this upcoming Monday so that there would be time to do the surgery as well as X-rays. I picked this office after deciding after 10+ years to get a cosmetic crown over a root canal I had done. The original mould taken of my teeth before my tooth was shaved down was taken while I still had glue on the back of my teeth from a permanent retainer I had to get removed prior to the procedure, and I believe this resulted in many issues with my crowns in the future, although this was never confirmed when I mentioned it. I ended up having the crown remade, getting the first one shaved off my tooth since the color was dark in certain lighting. When my first crown was taken off, a bit of my tooth next to it was shaved off too, one of the ladies said it might have been the shape of my new tooth while I was there, but after comparing pictures, my tooth was definitely nicked. Unfortunately, all of my worry about the color was small, as the feeling of the back of the crowns felt awful. Ultimately, after over an hour of shaving the final crown down, it is a shape I feel like I can live with for the rest of my life without bothering me. The color is a bit off, even after going in person to the tooth color lab. It is not worth it to me to have more damage to my other tooth, risk feeling a tooth that does not belong in my mouth again, or not being able to bite with my front teeth for another 3 months to have one remade. Overall, it is better than when I came in, but I am not sure I would go through the process again if I was sent back in time. I am really glad they were willing to remake the crown without hesitation, I am not sure if the errors are human, the specific lab, or the technology is not quite there yet. Mostly just posting if there is anyone else debating and looking for a singular dark front tooth case.

He listened to my concerns and referred me to an Endodontist for two root canals. After drilling my…read moreteeth, I was told I needed to make another appointment to have the cavities she had just drilled actually filled. Despite the treatment being left unfinished, I was charged for the fillings and expected to return for another appointment to have them completed. On top of that, she was rude and dismissive throughout the experience. I immediately switched dentists afterward. I would strongly recommend avoiding this dental office.
