Adopted both of my babies from here. Never been happier.

Adopted my boy and a year later I adopted My girl. Both completely different personalities and in the beginning my boy was so jealous. Now they love each other so much. I did the right steps of scent swapping and space for each of them. Now they're best friends and give each other the play and needs I can't or cannot buy. Highly recommend this shelter. They check on them and genuinely care

After formally introducing myself to my future Best Friend Forever in the Pet Supplies Plus cat box/cage/window thing, I knew I'd stop at nothing to make it official. Thanks to St. Sophia's the energy I gathered to battle the drawn-out adoption process while carefully tip toeing through accusatory questions about what the weather was like on the day my dog was born even though Mr. Iggles passed away years ago, was reserved and more importantly- better spent on getting ready for and meeting my little kitty BFF. That's not to say that St. Sophia's doesn't have a thorough and respectable screening process. Of course they do, but I was grateful to be treated like a grown adult sincerely looking for a new pet to force my love on rather than someone who was a monster for not keeping detailed records of 13 years worth of vet bills from my previous furry baby. St. Sophia's team is a blessing. They communicate well, they're friendly humans and they're the reason I wake up each morning to this little fluff trying to spoon my face. I talked to many pet adoption agencies before St. Sophia's and I'm so grateful to have found them.

St Sophia's connected Lil' Petey with his own kitten agent and was in a Purina cat food commercial.

Great experience working with their team. Great communication and kind staff. Gave us the opportunity to meet with our kitten and a few other potential matches so we found the best kitten for our family. Greatly appreciate all the help and would recommend to anyone looking for a new member of their family.

It was great working with St. Sophia's on our adoption of our sweet Angel!! The application process was easy. We went to meet our sweet baby and fell in love with her. It's a great organization that helps out these babies! We love donating to them when they request help.

Highly Recommended! I found St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines through Petfinder and was immediately impressed by the detailed descriptions they provided for each cat. Unlike many rescues, they shared not only the basics but also valuable insights into each cat's personality and ideal living environment. Even with that information, I still had plenty of questions--and every time, they were answered quickly and thoroughly. Since I wanted to find the "right" match for my family, I visited their location multiple times. I was never made to feel like a nuisance; instead, they were very understanding and patient as I waited for the perfect fit. For us, that meant a short-haired young cat who was playful, good with kids, and comfortable in a busy household. We ended up adopting Capri, and she has been a wonderful addition. Even after the adoption, the rescue was supportive when I reached out with questions--like when I discovered Capri wasn't food-motivated or interested in treats. They offered helpful suggestions on what might work for her. Although I've been a cat owner before, this was my first time adopting through a rescue group. The benefits were clear: Capri came spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested for FIV/FelV. The adoption fee was very reasonable. I also want to acknowledge the incredible foster moms who care for these cats and kittens. Their dedication and love truly shine through. I highly recommend St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines to anyone looking to adopt a cat--you'll be in great hands!

We love our new baby, adoption was easy and fast! Had to drive to a couple different locations to find her but when we did she was super sweet. Very happy to give her a home!

I went to one of their adoption events and got 2 beautiful bonded brothers kittens. They were wonderful and helpful. They even trimmed the kitties nails before we took them home. Love our cats!

    Moon looking for hugs

I adopted a 3yr old Russian Blue cat named Moon. She is wonderful with children and so kind overall. The process took approximately 24 hrs from the application to my lovely Moon coming home. Needles to say, shes the boss. Thank you to St Sophia's

We are in love with our cat Sista. The process was good! You can tell they really care about getting their cats in good homes!

It's very apparent that the foster moms at St Sophia's truly care about the future of their kitties.

It's one thing to make a mistake on one ear but then to do the same thing on the other ear just blows my mind. They didn't even say anything about it even though there was dried blood all over her ears. All they cared about was my Zelle transaction going through and I gave them a good tip! I'm so mad I didn't take a second and look at my dog better before I left. There's no excuse for this, who knows what the kids working there are doing to the dogs. Never going back here!

If I could choose zero stars I would. I took my dog to Spotted Paw Grooming and Pet Foods in…read moreWarrenville, IL to get groomed and will NEVER return. They also moved locations from Wheaton to Warrenville but didn't tell me that upon booking my appointment. Instead, they told me the day before and it was a lot farther drive than I expected. Supposedly, they moved locations back in November and still haven't updated their site. My poor dog is traumatized from her visit and has not been eating well since. She is a Shih Tzu/Bishon mix so she was a little matted. Upon check-in they had a hair length chart to choose how you wanted your dog cut. In no way did I pick a length where I couldn't grab her hair at all. They said they'd call if they had to cut her shorter than discussed, so, they called and asked about her tail and ears. I said that was ok to cut those shorter. But nowhere in that conversation did they say they had to shave her entire body too! My poor dog was completely shaved! She doesn't look the same and friends that come over can't even recognize her. I called to discuss this with the manager before writing a review and he was so scripted and rude on the phone. Seems like he's done this before since he knew exactly what to respond with. I told him that how they groomed her was not what we discussed so he said he'd have to review camera footage of me coming in and choosing what length I wanted and our phone conversation and that it would take at the minimum 2 days to review and investigate it. He ended up finding it right away and called me back in about 5 mins. He never once apologized until I got to the point where I was going to report them and write a review on every site I can. This business is just inhumane and poorly run. Nobody should bring their dog to Spotted Paw shop to be groomed. They've done this to numerous people before me as reviews on Yelp are awful. I'm regretting not doing more research before I took her there. Please go somewhere else to get your dog groomed so you don't have the same experience I did and others before me.
