Excellent service from Brian at Roger Daniel's Brake and Alignment (Stability Alignment). I just put new tires on my 2002 Tundra, so I figured I'd get it aligned. I called and spoke with Brian who told me to bring it on in. I drove over and left the pick-up with him. A few hours later he called. Turns out that the ol' Tundra really couldn't be properly aligned as the front end has several problems. Fairly expensive problems. Bushings, ball joints, control arms, etc. type problems. Never once did Brian try to sell me any expensive repairs. He was very matter of fact and realistic. Did I really want to sink $1500+ into a 21-year-old truck that has a 250,000 miles on it? Nor did he just do the alignment and send me on my way. He advised that I rotate the tires every 3,000 miles rather than the usual 5,000. It is just my commuter vehicle, it'll be fine. Thanks Brian for not selling me a bill of goods or doing unnecessary work. It is always refreshing to find automotive repair shops that work with honesty and integrity. Honest, quick, and reliable! I came here to get an alignment done after I bought a new set of tires. It was completed within a very reasonable amount of time after checking in - around 30 minutes. I was then told that my alignment was actually on point, nothing to fix, so the price I paid for the assessment was significantly lower than the quote I'd received (which would've included the actual alignment had it been necessary). They even recommended that I have a look at my rear brakes in 2-3,000 miles without pushing me to have them done immediately. The whole experience was super pleasant. In good conscience, I cannot and would not recommend this shop to anyone. It's a common theme for them to claim a vehicle needs $1k- "thousands" in repair, before they can perform an alignment. I foolishly brought my 02 TDI to them for an alignment. They claimed that my car had a "modified/bent" rear axle. Which it does not! Nor is the rear suspension adjustable or in need of alignment. Only the front end needed a toe correction. They told me that they would perform an alignment on it, and instead grabbed my money and told me they wouldn't do an alignment without first performing "thousands of dollars worth of work". Brought our old museum work van to see what was wrong with it and make it driveable. Though he made suggestions on what it may need in the future, there was no pressure to buy. After taking my car elsewhere and being quoted for $3 grand in repairs with a vague explanation that sent red flags up, I came here instead (where I should have come in the first place!). Went here after getting all new tires at Discount Tire @ La Mesa Grossmont. We appreciate them (Stability) finding a lost bolt or two, however I'm not sure how Discount Tire missed that entirely.... The Roger Daniel crew fixed up our 'lost bolts' and told us our truck needed $1000 worth of repairs before an alignment could be achieved. Keep in mind, it's a TWD truck. We told him, that's not gonna happen and thanked him for his service and recommendation. He offered a quote for the repairs, we accepted and waited for the email. Later we received a quote for $2000. Top of the line parts, included. I'm sorry, we didn't come here to replace our entire suspension and front end. This quote blew our minds, caused me mental and emotional stress thinking I had $2000 worth of repairs ahead of me. Got a recommendation from a local mechanic on another shop, they fixed us up this morning in two hours. $59, recognized the repaired bolts and said everything looked great and alignment was achieved. I don't know if you were trying to take advantage of me, but I am truly disappointed in this business. I think you should be ashamed of yourselves. Love this place! We drive about 25 miles, and pass a ton of other alignment shops to take our cars to the best. We have a couple of the Mopar "SRT" vehicles that are notoriously hard on both brakes and tires. I was a huge fan of Rodger Daniels alignment, I've gone there pretty consistently. Recently I bought a newer older truck, put all new tires on it, took it to Roger Daniels to have them check the brakes and alignment. Got the truck aligned, I've driven it 3,000 miles all on normal paved roads. Today I took my truck to the Toyota dealer and was informed on how my alignment was COMPLETELY off. The dealer at Toyota recommended I actually reach out because it was so bad. I've included the photo that Toyota gave me of my alignment. I'm extremely disappointed. As a woman I except that when I go to a business like this they are ensuring I leave safely since I don't know how to do this myself. Reading the other reviews from these butt hurt posters makes me laugh. Sometimes your car needs something that only the alignment professionals can fix. I had a Ford Raptor "aligned" at two other shops and it drove like a champ, except it kept wearing out cv joints and boots. Nobody could fix it. They would just replace the axle at a thousand bucks a whack. These guys diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Several thousand dollars of replacing parts and frame straightening that no one else offered to do and the truck is now perfect. I'm saving money now that the truck isn't eating up those axles every so often. I love my truck and it was worth the investment to pay someone knowledgeable enough to fix it correctly. Good work isn't cheap, and cheap work isn't good .... And for all of the guys that were appalled at the idea of having to fix something on their car.... Just go to Pep Boys. I'm sure one of the kids in service there'll get you "alligned". read more

These guys were great. Brought my 2017 Honda Civic EX Hatchback in for an alignment after the dealership couldn't even get it right. Came in the first time and left happy, but noticed it started pulling to the right again. Called into the shop and they were so eager to fix it at no charge. I came back a week later, the tech was very informative about the newer electronic style steering and said that the problem was it needed to basically be reset through the computer. He had done some research prior to me coming in, and it showed. Car drives straight as an arrow, and the steering wheel is perfectly centered to the dash. When we dropped the car off I felt our baby would be just fine and bid it farewell! All of the staff at this place is top notch and throughly explains what will be done and proves their work at the end of their service. I found this company searching through Google and read the reviews on Yelp since it was one of the top ones listed. After reading all the reviews on this company. I decided to go through them for my alignment. I have a 93" Nissan NX2000 and the car is lowered and has a low front bumper. They were able to get it on their lift with no problem. The receptionist was very courteous and technician was very professional and informative of my options. They also have a 6 month/6,000 mile warrany for alignments. Brakes have a 2 year/24,000 mile prorated warranty. I definitely would come here again and recommend them to anyone. read more

Great place to be at! I have a lowered car and they proceeded to align the car as close to its specs as possible. I really felt like i was a part of the family for some reason. Everyone was really nice and chill and the waiting room just felt like so homely. Very respectful people. They reminded me of my aunts and uncles. They also guided me through certain procedures they took for my car and any troubles I were to have in the near future. Of course, they suggested I raise the height to be at the most fully functional height, But nah! :P It's a good thing though! My brakes went out! Like literally went out while I was coming up to a red light. I freaked for a split second thinking I was the dumbass not putting my foot on the right pedal. Nope. It wasn't operator error. Whew! I immediately pulled over and yelped some brake repair & dealerships nearby. I found that Rogers not only had great reviews, but it was super close to where I was. I coasted in their parking lot and got immediate assistance. They couldn't see any trouble at first glance so I had to leave it there. One of their employees was sweet enough to take me home (even though in the world of Uber, it wasn't a big issue to find a ride). Turns out my master cylinder went out. $$$ expensive fix $$$ but Brian gave me two possible paths to take and explained each one carefully to me. Turns out my extended warranty covered it!
