    Heated/cooling seat problem
    Noel L.

I bought a mustang from these guys on February 16, 2024. It's now July 1st 2024 and I've had multiple problems with the car already. When I first did a test drive on the car, I noticed that the blue tooth was not working, there was no backup camera (even though they said it on paper that it was included in the car) and the trunk would not open at all. So I called them when I got home the same day and asked if they could repair it and they were nice and said to bring it back the next day so I did. I told them everything that was wrong and they fixed the trunk and installed the backup camera but told me there was NOTHING they could do about the Bluetooth on the stereo BUT they would compensate me around $250 and in their own words saying "you can do whatever you'd like with the money, even pocket it but that's what we can do about the Bluetooth situation. I agreed to the 250 but they never told me how to get it or when to come so I assumed it was going to come in the mail. A couple months pass and I receive no check or money for the stereo. I call them and for about two weeks the people on the phone said "Harry is not here right now he will call you when he is available." I called about ten times in those two weeks and still nothing. When Harry FINALLY calls me he claims he was ignoring my calls ON PURPOSE because he "didn't remember agreeing to the 250" and said something like "all I remember is we fixed a few things for you like the back up camera and stuff" trying to make it seem like they did what they needed to do. He spoke to me like I was an idiot and maybe tried to blow it off and act like I'm just some dumb kid that couldn't be taken seriously since I'm younger. At the end of our phone call they left off with the "I need to talk to the owner of the dealership to see if he will still grant you the money and we will call you back" and that was like two months ago and still, no call back, just left in the dark. They are very nice when you're writing the check and signing papers but leave you in the dark after you leave the building it seems. Since then I've had to take my car to the mechanic in March because my car was misfiring when I would slam on the gas to accelerate like on the freeway and they said one of the cylinders had a broken spark plug which costed a total of $352. As for the Bluetooth problem they were supposedly gonna help me on, I had to put in a whole new sync 3 system which costed me about $450 and I did the labor myself. Then the heated/cooling seats stopped working so I had to fix them myself as well. Now my AC won't even blow air at all (probably the blow motor) so now I have to fix that. Whether it's the dealerships fault or they left me in the dust about the $250 (on purpose) and the car continues to have problems and none of them couldn't have been fixed even tho I HAVE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. BE CAUTIOUS BUYING CARS HERE.

Warning! Things seemed all good until today. I have had this vehicle for exactly two weeks. I had arrived to work and the vehicle made some weird noise, check engine light came on, and all power stopped. It would not start. They tried to blame me for leaving things on in the car. It's a smart car and everything is automatic. Then lied to a police dispatcher about there being no short term warranty (30 days or 10000 miles) The manager Harry would not even come outside to speak with me. Guess he figured since I'm returning the car. You are not important anymore . Their cars will look very clean and tempting but it's always about the engine and electrical.

Used car sales can carry a negative stigma, but from our first impression, there was no pressure or typical sales tactics--just a team focused on helping us with the Kia EV9. When we sat down to go over financing and numbers with Frank, we expected the usual back-and-forth with a sales manager--but that wasn't the case at all. He was straightforward, honest, and just as professional. The entire team was transparent, including clearly explaining the ceramic coating add-on so there were no surprises. Even after we left the lot, they continued to go above and beyond--quickly addressing a couple of follow-up questions and a small concern we had. We absolutely love our EV9, and we've already been recommending them to others looking to get into an EV. If you're in the market for a well-maintained EV and a smooth, no-pressure buying experience, this is the place to go.

Tried out other cars I liked but found out the advertised price is not the actual price. +$5k of wheels and ceramic coating, and fees as an additional cost. It's mentioned in the listing that this may be the case, but it's always the case on every car. What I REALLY didn't like though was the "extra" DMV fees, which is not allowed. Those are fixed costs...Last, when asked about the manufacturer warranty, it was overstated. We did like our sales rep, inventory, but the pricing strategy was really not ideal.

The online listing made the car sound pristine, but in person, it had a long list of issues: broken trim, missing parts, mismatched tires, rusted rotors, and a non-functioning rear screen. These flaws weren't disclosed in the ad. Worse, the dealership attempted to charge $5,500 for paint protection, theft deterrents, tint, and other add-ons that were never discussed beforehand, despite claiming "no hidden fees." Their fine print later revealed these were pre-installed and not part of the advertised price. I waited more than 20 minutes to speak with a manager after raising concerns but willing to negotiate, but no one followed up, so I walked out. This place banks on uninformed buyers accepting inflated prices and vague add-ons. If you're a serious buyer, read the fine print, ask hard questions, and be ready to walk. UPDATE 6/28/25: After buying the same make and model at a different dealership -- one with FAR better integrity -- I want to reflect back at my experience at this dealership and their practices. First, salesman wanted me to negotiate on the final price, not the vehicle price. That's a classic dealership tactic as it protects the sticker price for their metrics, have an easier time hiding add-on profits, and it creates a false impression of flexibility. Ultimately, this is bad for the buyer because transparency is lost, it protects their margin and limits one's leverage. I knew that's what they were aiming at, so I held the line on only negotiating on the sticker price. Again, LOOK AT THE PICTURES AS TO WHY!! In spite of what I just said, he proceeded with the oldest trick dealerships do: "cool-down" or "sweat-you-out" tactic. This is done to make one feel uncomfortable or impatient with the ultimate goal of getting one emotionally invested in staying and "finishing the deal". By doing so, they wear you down so that you're more likely to agree to their numbers just to be done. There are other reasons too but this is a big one. ~20 minutes of waiting, I told one of the salesmen that I've been waiting a while for the manager and will leave in 5 minutes if he doesn't arrive. True to my word, I left. I never heard from them after that (they had my contact info) which tells me they would rather wait for a less informed, emotional buyer to foolishly agree to the unfair price of this car AND overpriced mandatory add-ons. Here's my take away from this dealership: 1) High-pressure, low-integrity dealership model: They prioritize margins over relationships with a focus on flipping cars at inflated prices. They also rely on delays, confusion, and "manager invisibility" to outlast smart buyers. 2) Poor reconditioning = Cut costs: The car's condition (damaged trim, mismatched tires, rusted rotors, broken screen and so on) says they're not investing in inventory. They're pushing it out as-is and hoping no one notices. 3) The "Fool Tax" strategy: the biggest one for this dealership. They keep cars on the lot long enough to find someone unaware or emotionally invested. I was never their ideal buyer. I was informed, direct, and clear. PLEASE TAKE MY EXPERIENCE AS A WARNING. AVOID THEM. I AM SPEAKING AS SOMEONE WHO DID NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. IMAGINE HOW I WOULD FEEL IF I DID. UPDATE 4/1/26: Since my visit, California passed SB 766, aimed at deceptive practices like misleading pricing and add-ons, the same issues I and many others have raised here. After 10/1/26, dealers engaging in those practices will face greater scrutiny. If you believe you were misled or defrauded, consider filing a complaint w/ DMV Investigations and keep all documentation. In Jan 2026, Yelp placed a "Suspicious Review Activity" alert on this dealership's page (see pic). Read it, then look at how many good reviews come from accounts with 1-3 total reviews here, versus those with a much longer review history. Draw your own conclusions. IF YOU FOUND A VEHICLE YOU LOVE AT THIS DEALERSHIP, PLEASE STAY AWAY!! THEY WILL USE YOUR EMOTIONS AGAINST YOU.

No pressure tactics, no surprise fees, fair pricing, and a quick and easy transaction. It's refreshing compared to the typical used car dealer experience, and I genuinely appreciated that. The Bad: I drove off the lot and immediately noticed two warning lights on the dash: charging port fault and airbag. You know how cars flash a few lights on startup and they disappear within seconds? That's what I assumed. Besides, you're spending $50K+ on a car and you don't expect to drive away with these active warnings. I simply trusted Zed on that. Both turned out to be real issues. $1,400 paid to fix it. During my inspection, one of the Falcon Wing doors hesitated when opening. Zed said it was probably the sun, shade, or dust interfering. I took his word for it. It wasn't. $650 quote from Tesla. One week later, a steering rack warning appeared. $4,000 quote. Total damage in week one: over $6,000 on top of the purchase price. My Take: I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he didn't know about these issues. But either way, it's clear these cars aren't being thoroughly inspected before they hit the lot. I'd give 3.5 stars if I could, but $6,000+ in repairs within a week makes 4 stars hard to justify. Would I buy from here again? "Maybe..." But next time I'm bringing my own inspector, spending more time on the test drive, and checking every light, every panel, and every moving part myself. Bottom line: Good dealer. Smooth process. But do NOT skip a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Do NOT assume the car is in good condition because you're having a good experience during your time at the dealership.

I ignored other reviews and purchased my dream car from OC Autosource...a Bentley Continental GT Speed "Limited Le Mans Edition" (#7 of 48) coupe. Though the car had been in his hands for weeks, he apparently never bothered to have a mechanic look at it. I paid for a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) after buying it (my bad, don't make this mistake) and learned the truth about the car. The front grills had sustained damage, breaking off the tabs that hold them in place and subsequently been GLUED back on. The front left wheel had a crack in it which caused the tire to steadily lose air pressure, ultimately triggering an alert on the car's dash. This alert effectively froze the computer, making it impossible to use the navigation, listen to music or do anything else. I returned to the tire shop 3 times for refills, seven days later the alarm was triggered again, On my third visit they discovered the crack in the wheel. The exhaust system was loosely hanging on...missing brackets that secure it and prevent it from hanging low. The car has a 20 speaker, $7500.00 sound system but the blown speaker in the dash made it painful to use...like nails on a chalkboard. When I provided Tony proof of these flaws, he assured me he would make good on the repairs and "..do the right thing" and I believed him. I had everything fixed at a cost of $2637.79 (parts & labor) and now enjoy driving the car. Weeks passed and Tony never contacted me until I posted a review and filed a BBB complaint. 24hrs after posting my initial review & filing a BBB complaint, I got reimbursed the total amt for the aforementioned repairs. But because Tony asked me to "...remove all the negative you put out there" I feel this was mere damage control rather than his desire to do the right thing because I received more messages from him within 24hrs of posting my review than I received in the preceding 4 months.. I promised him an honest review on my first visit to OC Autosouce & that's what this is. I always keep my word. If you intend to purchase a car from OC Autosource, I suggest you demand a PPI be conducted before you buy. Have the cost of any repairs necessary be deducted from the purchase price and handle the repairs yourself. JMO...I could be wrong.
