    Pub burger w/ fries

Stopped by shop here often at Whole Foods gave it try inside while foods is Stage 71. Full bar and food. You also can buy from the Whole Foods, food section and eat at Stage 71. Service is good you order at the register and they bring your food to you. They got happy hour daily and couple TVs you can watch the games. Ordered a handroll spicy tuna was ok. Wasn't expecting to be great A for the effort. Pub burger was ok but the patty quality was good. Nachos was the best.

3.5 stars Bar inside Whole Foods! Happy hour offered daily. Can order food and drinks or bring food from cafe and eat here. Good service. Clean and decent. Giving three stars as I don't know how the food tastes like yet. Will have to come back.

I wouldn't so much call it a sports bar as a modern, hipster haven! The music here is fantastic. Not too old, not too new. Easy-going & recognizable tunes that make the perfect accompaniment to lunch or happy hour. They have a respectable tap-list and a small menu of classic cocktails done right. The food menu is also really great. Highly recommend the fish tacos. Chicken wings and cauliflower nachos also look really tasty. The folks behind the bar (David, Manny, Brittany & the lot) are very welcoming and easy-going & the bar manager knows his booze. Hit him up for recommendations on what's behind the bar. I'll be here regularly, I think.

Cool little bar right smack in the middle of Burbank inside Whole Foods... they have a variety of beers, wine and drinks. They also have food options (vegetarian and vegan also)from hamburgers to sushi (even vegan). The fries are soooooo freakin mouthwatering delicious oh em gee. Ughh! I had a mojito that was fresh, pretty strong and not too sweet. The mint leaves were fresh also and it was only 170 calories. The crowd seems to be from the studios around the area so they were pretty dressed up. The place was popping for a a Wednesday evening at 6:30. I had a tuna sandwich that I picked up from inside Whole Foods. The sandwich had all of the nutrition facts and ingredients. You gotta love that if your watching your caloric intake. I will come back again!

Very good food and over all good selection of beers. Whoever, The first thing they tell you is "YOU ONLY HAVE 30 minutes to eat and drink and after that time either you keep consuming or have to leave the place and they have a security guard marking sure you do it or leave" I hate how they do it specially when you have order already two drinks and a full meal. They come around and say it's been 30 minutes, so no the most welcoming place a round, and if you need the bathroom they don't have any in the area, you have to walk all the way to the back inside the super market.

Final rating for regular fries: 4/5 Spuds. Final rating for sweet potato fries: 4/5 Spuds.

Whole Foods Market: the little health-conscious grocery store that could. It's hard to believe that what once started with a single family-funded vegetarian supermarket has now expanded to become synonymous with Big Business and Industry itself, thanks to it's recent acquisition by Amazon. But what I like about the company is that even though it might falter and draw criticism every now and then, it always (eventually) remembers its original goal of serving high-quality sustainably-raised and ethically-acquired foods. It has taken the steps necessary to stay in business after almost 40 years, good or bad, and ultimately leaves the deciding power in the hands of the customers. With that said, if you're a customer of the Burbank location, you can decide to visit a restaurant unique to this store: Stage 71! Yes, a restaurant inside of a store (which is on top of a parking structure, if you're really keeping track). Using an extremely minimal theme, Stage 71 alludes to its nearby studio neighbors (Warner Bros., Universal, and Nickelodeon to name a few) with subtle décor and an industry phrase scattered here or there. But it's a full-service restaurant with large glass walls and a view of the San Fernando Valley, and it's tucked away behind the express checkout lane! But none of that matters. Let's get to the fries! The options for fries at Stage 71 are narrow, so let's hope that they're good! You've got regular fries for $3 and certified Vegan, and you've got sweet potato fries also for $3, but not labeled Vegan. Why? It's unclear, but The Frequent Fryer has seen this situation before. Other restaurants will serve sweet potato spuds with an aioli sauce or with bacon bits, but always as an option. That's not the case here, but the label is still mysterious. Either way, both of these are some of the cheapest things you'll find at Whole Foods. Both fries arrive in undersized frying baskets which are assuredly only for show, but they're piled in plentifully, and I'll tell you right now that this simple order is very filling. Two sides should be shared, and one side is enough for most people. A side note for those who prefer ketchup as their condiment: Stage 71 offers Sir Kensington's brand of gluten-free ketchup, which has the same taste as most over-the-counter ketchups without processed sugar. Also, a main ingredient is green peppers, so don't be surprised by the tingling sensation, because it's a nice change! The regular fries are great! They're cut restaurant-style and long, and the skins are flaky and audibly crunchy. There is very little salt sprinkled on, but the potato's taste is bold and wonderful, if somewhat oily. They taste how fries should taste, even though they don't do anything particularly exciting. The interior remains soft despite the excellent outer frying, and they don't limp out after cooling down. Not what you would have expected from a grocery store food court, huh? The sweet potato fries are also pretty good! There's not as much crunch to them, unless you find a thinly-tapered fry that's been compressed to a sharp edge. The fries are tender as if they've been baked instead of fried, and while they're not as long as the other fries their form stays just as intact. Again, there is some salt, but the mild sweet flavor of these spuds is what will stay with you. They're not sugary either, so you won't feel like you're cheating on your diet. These would actually make a good healthy snack, so keep that in mind while you're shopping in Aisle 5 for that $7 bag of kale chips. Final rating for regular fries: 4/5 Spuds. Final rating for sweet potato fries: 4/5 Spuds.

They do have parking behind the building which seems to fill pretty quickly if they're busy, but it's easy to find parking around the neighborhood. I am not usually in the tavern scene so I was surprised that we had to order and pay at the bar, but it wasn't a big issue. My friend and I split the kale caesar salad and the macaroni and cheese. For the table, I ordered the waffle fries after being informed by the kind waitress that that was the better choice over the pretzel (which she also said was amazing). Since the place was filling up for the final, the kitchen was a bit slow, but we barely noticed with how attentive the staff were in getting us drinks and refills. When it came to food, we were pleasantly surprised with this place and is honestly the reason I'm writing this review. The first things we got were the Beef Tallow Waffle Fries, Caesar Salad, and mac and cheese. Obviously the fries were much better, however the salad was also divine but just swimming in dressing. Back to the fries, we all were mindblown with how tavern fries could be this good and had so many flavors. Even the skinny queens in our group kept snacking on them which tells you how good these were. Mac and cheese came and it was standard and creamy but not necessarily something I'd return for. The surprising thing on top of the fries that majority of us loved was the Vegan Tomato Scampi with shrimp. It was fire and had me questioning if it was even Vegan. Would definitely return here if I find my way back to SoCal from the Bay. Great unassuming place with great food and vibes. Their bathroom as well is super clean and nice! Love this place!

It's a hell of a good time. I really enjoyed the chicken taco and carne asada taco. The meats were juicy and very flavorful. I also ordered their nachos, chili cheese fries and bread pudding. The nachos were made perfectly with the chips being thin and crispy. They used a couple different cheeses and the jalapeños were a nice touch. Definitely ordering it again, I can do without the chili cheese fries. It was good but it wasn't amazing. Their bread pudding was HUGE and I can see why it's one of the popular items here. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft and gooey in the inside. Morrisons is definitely a fun place to be. Perfect to enjoy happy hour, catch the games on, and hang out friends. This just goes to show you that the people that visit this establishment respect and care for the games, which is a reflection on the clientele itself. And of course, you're welcome to bring your own game as well. We got there a bit after opening so we were able to get one of the multi seater tables. When we left at 3PM, the place was packed! The location has plenty of parking and such a great vibe. With all the distillers upstairs and downstairs, the whole place pulls you into the experience the second you walk in. The owners genuinely care about the community. They're constantly popping in, saying hi, checking on guests, and making sure the food is coming out at its best. They kept the food and drinks coming and frequently checked on us so kudos to them. Only obstacle was asking one of them a bunch of menu questions and food recommendations but he is vegan so had no opinions since most of the menu is meat. On to the food. The best things were the hummus/pita starter, and that's about it. The pretzel was ok but all 3 dips were not mustard based so lame. I ordered a half rack of pork ribs. While cutting them they squirted me which I thought was a good sign, but they had no flavor and basically no sauce. There is a fine line between charred and burnt and they started to cross the line, just tasted like burnt charcoal. I doused them in their original BBQ sauce and it actually made them worse; the sauce just tastes like liquid spice and also had no distinct flavor. Can't ruin fries... wrong! They were overly fried and any potato remnants had been cooked away. The coleslaw was not coleslaw, it was just chopped up purple cabbage, totally inedible. Some other food reviews from my coworkers. Fish and chips: dry Fried pickles: where are the pickles Miso cod: not good Bacon burger: also not good Chicken wings: you guessed it I also got one of 3 sour beer options, The Who Likes Orange Soda, which magically tasted like half sour beer half orange soda. It was ok but towards the end I just wished I had gotten a sour beer instead of an orange soda. Considering how poor the food quality is, I'd say the menu is wildly overpriced. The place has a chill vibe, so it's not a bad option to have a beer and watch some sports on TV, but I would highly advise eating before going so you are full and don't make the mistake of ordering food.

What I didn't expect was this other bartender, who was on the complete other side of the bar and didn't communicate me with at all, was actually filling my drink. I didn't realize that, because he didn't tell me, so I turned to walk back to my table. This rude bartender thought I was abandoning my drink or something, and used his big boy voice to yell "YOUR DRINK!" so loudly that everyone at the bar stopped to stare at me, and some were laughing. Now I didn't know that intentionally embarrassing your patrons is how you guys do business, but ok, whatever makes you feel important I guess... Alternatively, a few months ago, my husband and his friend came here and they received the complete opposite treatment - free drinks, conversations with the bartenders, and were welcomed. I never come into a restaurant/bar, especially a small business, expecting anything for free, that isn't my point at all. I do however expect basic manners and respect. Based on our very different experiences recently, there does seem to be a hint of misogyny going on here.
