Im not from around Burbank amd seldom ever visit but since my wife and I were in the area we decided to stop at Morrisons. Morrison was nice, we enjoyed our stop for food there. Both the service and the ambiance was good, they had the world cup games playing - it was nice. My only knock is that they didnt have the pineapple dole whip drink we really wanted and the order of wings was less than ideal at 5 wings only. Either way we still enjoyed our stop and we wouldn't mind coming back.

Service was outstanding! Free parking nearby, the ambiance was lively (went to watch the FIFA World Cup) the food was just alright, the drinks were good

This is a gift certificate THEY DID NOT honor.

GIFT CERTIFICATES - BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK! SCAM BUSINESS! I was a frequenter to both Morrison locations in Burbank and Los Feliz. They bear the same name, menu, shirts, decor, etc. This gives the consumer the impression that these are absolutely related businesses that share ownership/management. A family member knew I loved the Morrison, and bought a $100 gift certificate from the Los Feliz location and gave it to me as a birthday gift. That location shut down a few weeks later, so I took it the gift certificate to the Burbank location. After attempting to use it after ordering a ton of food and drink, they straight up told me they are not associated with the other location whatsoever and they would not honor the gift certificate. Whether that's the truth or not (I don't believe them) you have a BRAND TO PROTECT. This is what sharing a brand is! To make the cognizant decision not to honor this gift certificate is theft! I will NEVER return to a business that bears the Morrison name ever again. You have lost a customer for life. I now implore all Yelpers to boycott this business for shady business practices. They literally took the $100 and disappeared! Where's my $100 Morrison?

Morrisons in Burbank serves up a happy hour with a cherrt on top. This location is smaller than Atwater but has the same deals. I went for the food not the drinks. The three sliders and fries are cheap and filled me up for about $10.00. The nachos were just okay in my book. Service is friendly and the place is festive. Halloween and Christmas they go all out.

We stopped by the Morrison for some dinner while on our self-created Burbank holiday lights viewing route. My hubby and I had eaten at the Atwater Village location a few years ago, so we figured, oh good... something we are familiar with. At this location, I ordered their Classic Burger, my husband ordered the patty melt, and my daughter ordered their Wagyu beef burger, and all our dishes came with fries. The food was very tasty, prepared as requested, and the fries were incredibly well-seasoned. There were more than enough fries, in fact, a bit too many, but the burger was maybe a tad on the smallish side. Not horribly small, but I would've been happy if they had provided a bit more towards the burger and a few less fries. No harm, no foul, though. Ironically, I liked the burger quality here better than what I had at the Atwater location. I recall being underwhelmed with that, but everything tasted great at the Burbank location. I requested an order of their famous bread pudding to go. I had it when I was at their Atwater location, and it was delicious, so I ordered it again. I completely forgot to request additional butterscotch sauce because they give so little of that and so much of the bread pudding. I definitely need the bread to sauce ratio to be more equal... and what'd I do? I forgot to ask. Drat. Well, it was still delicious, and I worked with what I had. We aren't in Burbank too often, but I'm happy to know that when/if we return and when/if we need a place to eat, we now have a place to go to !! Yay !!

Okay, so I really wanted to like the Morrison, I heard really good things about their Los Feliz place and wanted to give them a shot. We stopped in on Small Business day Thanksgiving Weekend and my hubby went with the fish and chips and I got the burger and onion rings. The fish and chips were meeh, the fish was greasy and the waiter asked my hubby if he wanted fries or chips and he was given fries and my burger was super greasy to and I asked for tabasco sauce and the waiter said he was going to bring it and never did. Like bro, I know you have tabasco sauce, you are a bar pub place. We also don't drink so not sure if that is why we didn't get some TLC and we got the side eye when we ordered our Shirley Temple's. The vibe inside was alright, they had a ton of sport games on and pretty clean and decent. All and all, I will not be returning and their food is mid, nothing to write home about.

Another solid happy hour at Morrison! Staff was great. Food was delish. I like the holiday decor they've got going on in here too! Great spot. Such a good neighborhood vibe. We will be back!

I have stopped by the Morrison Burbank several times and I always have an amazing experience. The food is just delicious, not pictured are their onion rings that sometimes I think about randomly because they are so crunchy and just perfect. Parking can get a little tricky when they are busy, but so worth it. Inside there is a very nice bar, and staff are friendly. I personally love the Spicy Verde Margarita, that is my go to cocktail. My favorite sandwich is the Chicken Aoili, it is so flavorful and fulfilling. I definitely recommend!

Stopped in yesterday for Happy Hour. They have a spacious patio with high tops as well as regular tables. Staff is very friendly and informative, server told us they have a "Taco Tuesday" special where street tacos are $2/piece (Steak, Chicken, Pastor). We ordered a steak and chicken taco as well as shrimp tempura. Taco meats are a little dry and lack that classic flavor. Shrimp tempura was crispy but on the thin side. Mixed Drinks are good, I had the "Dodger Dynasty" while they played the Dodgers Preseason game on all tv's. For dessert we got the Churro with Ice Cream which was fantastic. Our server was attentive, restaurant was clean and prices were great for happy hour. Overall a nice local spot to relax after work for a bite to eat and drinks!

As I have said in other reviews, I judge a place in context with its category, unless it is so poor or so great that it can match a different category. OK, so, Morrison's Burbank is a local's, burger joint, sports bar. In that class, it is great, really. I think my pictures will tell you the whole story. It is clean, has convenient street parking, a nice menu typical of its genre. The atmosphere is suitably subdued so you can view the sports events on the screens positioned on all four walls and enjoy a beer or whatever you are drinking. People streamed in steadily on a Sunday, as we did, casually. We came at an off-hour and could sit anywhere we wanted, so we chose the long wall with comfortable benches. Our servers, mainly Horacio, were prompt to greet us and take our order, bringing glasses of ice water immediately. We were already familiar with the menu, as it is almost identical to the Morrison's we usually go to in Atwater Village. Mostly importantly, both places have an exceptional dessert menu, really upscale and perfectly executed. All the food was great. There was pleasant 2000s pop/rock playing at the right volume, and the prices were really reasonable. This is a place to know about when you are near the Studios, which I am sure supply Morrison's Burbank with a regular clientele during the week. Come here when you want to get a simple and satisfying meal in a nice quiet place with good service and very good food, burger-y especially. Or if you just want to pop in for dessert and coffee (which was very good, by the way). It would be a great spot to take friends after work, too. A nice addition to the Burbank restaurant scene.

Morrison (Burbank) achieves 5 stars based on value, friendliness and quality. The food is yummy with those extra touches like the bread or ciabatta being perfectly toasted and the fresh and colorful house salad as an alternative to the amazing fries. Happy Hour is a way of life at Morrison. House wine $6, drafts $6 and $10 martinis to name a few deals. The food value is fantastic. Recently I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries ($13) and it was top notch. Juicy chicken, grilled onions, jack cheese and avocado on the aforementioned perfectly grilled ciabatta roll. I asked for the spicy habanero aioli on the side and added just enough for a little boost. Service is good and friendly. Shout out to Horacio for watching out for us. It's so much easier to part with one's hard earned cash when your server/bartender is pleasant and efficient AND the product is good! There is a brand new mural featuring Luka, Kobe and Gigi which is very skillfully executed. It was fun to see it being fine tuned. Morrison is attractive and comfortable both inside and out. Don't forget the super dog friendly patio and menu.

    Justin W.

Why call it a spicy chicken when it isn't spicy at all? The staff was on top of things as I came here with a big group of co workers. They have lots of TV's. It's clean, the music could be better but chances are they ain't gonna play death metal on a Thursday afternoon. But man the spicy chicken sandwich was an absolute let down. At least the fries were good.

Salad was ok, drenched in dressing

We came to Morrisons bc it had 4.5 star reviews, but tbh we were all disappointed, The first thing on the menu is a$30 burger btw. The server was nice but not experienced. The price of the food does not match the service. We waited 40 minutes for our appetizer and it came wrong, so we had to wait another 10 minutes for Nachos, And it came with the rest of the food. The "chicken breast" on the nachos was definitely not chicken breast. Food was tasty, but service was mediocre our drinks stayed empty for most of the meal, considering we waited a bit for the food. And then refilled with warm water. (No ice) At the end had to ask for boxes to go,(for each item thinking server would know to bring enough the first time) Definitely not coming back, the price does not match the experience.

My son didn't make a reservation because it was a Wednesday night and he didn't think it would be crowded. But with 5 adults and a baby carriage, we had to wait for the right table because the somewhat small restaurant was full. We soon got a good spot and ordered the shrimp ceviche and the pan fried dumplings for appetizers. The ceviche was served on a bed of crispy noodles and it was refreshing and satisfying. The dumplings were crispy, not greasy, and flavorful. For dinner, we got 2 orders of japchae and 3 orders of bibimbap. With 2 Korean-born children and having visited the country, those are among our family's favorite dishes. And they did not disappoint. The japchae noodles were just right. They were not too firm and not too soft and well-seasoned. With a mixture of veggies, meat, mushrooms, eggs, and that delectable sauce, the bibimbap tickled and satiated the tastebuds. I told the server there was a birthday at the table and she brought out an excellent creme brulee with a candle in it. My husband and I didn't pay the bill. But the prices were reasonable with most of the entrees costing less than $20 each. We have four more days in town and may very well make another visit to indulge in that scrumptious food.

Going in to Forman's Whiskey Tavern, I had 5 choices from the menu that looked amazing to me: 1. TAVERN SALAD with manchego, apple, candied pecans, and a champagne vinaigrette. 2. GRILLED CHEESE sweetened with butternut squash and a sage brown butter. 3. TAVERN (Impossible) BURGER with avo, arugula, pickled onion, and honey mustard dressing. 4. BISTRO (Impossible) BURGER which is like the French Onion Soup of burgers on a challah bun. 5. PATTY MELT, but I'd let my carnivorous side indulge with beef vs. Impossible meat. Thankfully the menu special that greeted me at the front door reaffirmed my choice that I should choose a burger. The Weekday Special from 12-3pm: Any Burger or Sandwich, Side of Fries or House Salad, and a pop was just $16. Plus, the bartender encouraged me that the burgers are really good. So the TAVERN BURGER with Impossible meat, a side green salad, and a lemonade needed no coin toss for me to be decisive. Ordering my meal at the bar was easy, there was no line, and service was quick. I loved that it was chill for a mid-week lunch hour. However, I imagine it gets busy later on in the afternoon and during a non-holiday week. Most of LA was already heading out to campsites for the 4th of July week from what it seemed. Beyond the burger, I really loved the fun decor. Inside, it felt like a Southern Hunting Lodge with its trophies hanging on the wall. Outdoors, it had my kind of charm with its lush greenery, flowering blooms, rustic decor, and picnic-style benches that felt like you're in someone's backyard. I'm sure the big tree in the center helps make the twinkle lights amazing at night. Plus, if you bring your furry friend (service dog) then the outdoor patio is a nice place to chill, and there's a bowl of fresh water just for them. As for drinks, there are plenty of beer choices on tap from Old Rasputin Stout to IPAs. Malbec and Opolo Zin looked enticing too. Since this is a Whiskey Tavern, there are lots of options ranging from low to high-end spirits to choose from. I recommend you take a peek at their menu beforehand to avoid deliberating for a while before choosing the one that speaks to you.

Specializing in whiskey, they also feature local brews from solid brewers like Paperback Brewing from Glendale. I tried the Bunny With a Chainsaw from Paperback - very smooth and easy drinking despite it being a double hazy IPA. If you're not into hoppy beers, this is the one for you. There were nine of us, so we used the outside patio area. Each table comes with its own QR code and you can have your own tab which makes it easy to order when you're in a large group. Lit up with outdoor patio lights with a cork oak tree in the middle, it's scenic enough with a casual, yet lively atmosphere. I ordered the fish tacos ($11) which came with two tacos, the fish itself was a frozen deep fried fillet, a bit on the tough side, however the rest of the taco fillings were fresh. Also tried the Brussels sprouts with balsamic reduction ($12) - these were done right! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Would come back to try out their other drinks and food!

The grog was not made with a grog mix. The rum barrel was tasty enough - though served in a hurricane glass. I'm no snob, but tiki is attention to detail. What I care about most is what I didn't get: great service. Staff are friendly.. when they notice you. Hey, I'm a regular at a different tiki bar. Priority service is a tangential bonus. Staff doesn't ignore newcomers for my sake. I wish it was the same here. 3/5 stars. I want it to be great. It's just good.

Tickets: You can pre-purchase tickets on Eventbrite Food: We had brunch so you really can't go wrong with breakfast food, however, the food was yummy. Especially the cinnamon rolls. The bottomless mimosa is worth it if you have a few people with you. Service: Now I'm going to assume service was a bit slow b/c of the drag show being packed however, we had a great server! Ambiance: When you walk into the Idle Hour, you're immediately transported into a dark brewery. So cool. Plenty of space for groups. Parking: street parking, not sure if they have a lot behind the venue. So Go, Enjoy & have a Drag-tastic time!!

The people who work here: all kind and helpful and on top of their stuff. This place gets really packed sometimes but even in the chaos, when customers are rude and drunk and break things they keep their cool, always. But don't treat them poorly. I will come for you. Chard is the GM and he is one of the kindest and most generous humans I have had the pleasure of know and is the mastermind behind getting the themed nights up and going. His ability to make a person feel welcome is pretty much unmatched in my opinion. The food: omg you guys the FOOD!!!! It's so good. They just changed the menu so I haven't gotten to try everything yet but the chicken dumplings are delicious. A bit of a kick but the best kind. The chili cheese fries that my friend had were also so good. Perfect cheese to chili ratio with the fries. There is a chef in the back who is passionate about food and making sure it tastes perfect so I trust everything is good. But if you are unsure ask the servers or bartenders. They won't steer you wrong. The drinks: admittedly, I mostly drink just screwball on the rocks. However every mixed cocktail I have had here has been perfection. Mark is the manager and he could be a mixologist, should be a mixologist, super nice guy who is shockingly good and remembering peoples drink preferences. Like a year ago was the last time I ordered cider and he remembered! The vibe: I wouldn't really call this place a dive bar, but it's sort of got a hint of dive bar going on. The back patio is really nice during the summer but sitting inside the barrel is fun too. The bulldog is kinda small so you won't fit a ton of people in there but it's still fun. Lots of places to sit although sometimes it does get packed and it's standing room only. Not to mention, they allow dogs!!! This is a great place to come with a first date. It's good for dressing up a little but not too much and there are some corners you can sit in so you can have a little closeness. But the staff will also keep an eye out for you. If you are feeling uncomfortable in any way, they will keep an eye out for you and help you out. There isn't a designated dance floor but they won't be mad if you dance in the area that you've got available to you. Just don't accidentally knock anything over or hit anybody. The music: Chard is usually in charge of the play list but even when he isn't the music is usually pretty great and there's a band that comes and plays on Sundays for a while in the afternoon/evening. I have found some of my new favorite music because of this place. Drag brunch: I've never actually attended because I've heard it gets a little crazy and that can be a little scary overwhelming for me, but they do it everyday Saturday and Sunday and that's been going strong for a pretty long time so I have to assume it's a good time. The themed events: this is the kind of crazy I can handle though. They have done lots of the rings, zelda anniversary, a Star Wars themed singles event for Valentine's Day, a scholastic book fair, and Easter egg hunt, their Halloween and New Year's Eve events were AMAZING, I could go on and on. People turn up for these events and they are just some of the most fun especially with the costumes you will see. Go to Idle Hour. I've never loved a bar before. This place is something else. I promise you won't be disappointed, unless you're one of those kinds of people who finds something wrong no matter how amazing the place is or you're kind of an entitled jerk.

Located inside Hotel Amarano (also a hidden gem), FYC (For Your Consideration) emits a classy ambience and a cozy vibe. This is a place where celebrities will come to dine because their privacy is respected. It's intimate enough for date night but also a perfect spot to catch up with friends. Of course, Te-See & I are always dressed to the nines regardless of where we go, but this time our fashionable wardrobe was the perfect attire for this chic lounge. Libby (director of sales & marketing) even came over to tell us how fabulous we both looked. We had an enjoyable conversation with her, and she told us many wonderful things about Hotel Amarano. I'll definitely recommend it to visitors and may even book a staycation for myself. Norm the bartender was friendly and attentive - engaging us with lively banter. I had the Bouquet of Roses - a refreshing combination of Kettle One Peach & Orange Blossom vodka, Lillet Rosé, Rosé wine, & peach purée. It was perfect for the summer evening. Te-See had the Spicy Passionfruit Paloma - minus the spicy. It was also very tasty. Anton also had the Paloma but spicy. I compared the two and liked the spicy version better. I had to leave before food was ordered but my friends said that the Shrimp Cocktail and Parmesan fries were delicious and ample enough to share. I really liked the vibe of this place and look forward to coming back. *Valet for the hotel or street parking.

We've been on the lookout for a new contender for a while and think we found one! Ordering was simple - go to their website (https://breadandbreakfastla.com), hit order now, select a location (Burbank or North Hollywood) and order to your heart's desire. We went up to the front and let them know the name we placed the order under and off we went. My wife and I opted to try their Bacon & Sausage Burrito and Veggie Burrito. Both had a hefty weight to them and were delicious. What added to the deliciousness was their house-made salsa and crema. If you love heat, their salsa is on point! Add the crema and you've been transported to another world. Staff was super nice and had our order ready when promised. Since this is in the same parking lot as Circus Liquor, we stopped in to grab some snacks and drinks for later too. Great all around!
