We stayed at the Stage Coach Inn while visiting Yellowstone National Park. The weather was cold and inclement and the most negative thing about this motel was that it didn't have an overhang going into the building. So we had to park and get a trolley onto the street to unload our car. Unfortunately I don't pack very light plus we have a dog with us, so we had a ton of luggage etc. We ended up on the second floor, not my favorite with having a dog. The Inn was very cozy inside with lots of stuffed large size stuffed animals. Our room was large and very adequate with comfortable beds. Everything looked a little dated. They were dog friendly but there wasn't any place for dogs to walk. This motel was located within the city and you could walk to restaurants and shops. The breakfast was minimal with the only protein being hard boiled eggs and yogurt. We were allowed to bring the dog outside of the breakfast area, which was a plus. I would still recommend this Inn because it's location was so close to West Yellowstone and downtown.

We arrived mid afternoon and got settled in. We put our water in the fridge and realized that the fridge was not working. We contacted the front desk and they immediately contacted maintenance to look at the fridge. Within 10 minutes we had a new working fridge. We appreciated it very much. The hotel overall is older. Which kind of gives you the old mountain vibes. Yes the decor is a little out dated, but we didn't mind at all. We came for Yellowstone, and not to spend most of our time at the hotel. The hotel fit in nicely with the rest of west Yellowstone. If we ever make it back to Yellowstone, we would stay here again because the staff is great and it is a great location - only blocks from the park.

We are traveling to Yellowstone from Tampa, so I know my familiarity with the cozy lodge aesthetic is minimal...but I am impressed. The Inn rooms are like a nice hotel room size and quality. The lobby has animal taxidermy all over on display. Housekeeping was wonderful.

Stayed here for the last weekend of the full park (Yellowstone) being open in Oct/Nov. It's an older building, but still a nice place to stay. Nice older/rustic lobby (with warm fireplace) and friendly/helpful staff. Room was decent. They have complimentary breakfast. Currently it's grab and go due to covid. You can "rent" bear spray from the receptionist! If you don't use it, you don't have to pay for it (just return it) which is nice because it can cost anywhere from $30-$40. There is a supermarket right next door should you need anything (toiletries, alcohol, lunch for your day in the park, etc.) I would definitely stay here again if traveling to Yellowstone National Park.

We were disappointed with the hotel standards and cleanliness. Outdated and not clean. I wish I read yelp reviews before making the reservation. It is overrated on the booking website for sure. For $250 per night I expected a better quality. I hope I won't bring any bed bugs home as other guests were mentioning in their reviews. Pros: proximity to the Yellowstone Park and a very friendly receptionist. We won't be staying there again for sure.

This hotel has all the nostalgia, wood beams and taxidermy, old fashioned feeling with board games and fire place in the lobby. The rooms were antiquated and seem clean. However my biggest problem was the bed. They need new mattresses and linens. My sheets were stained, blood droplets in pillow cases and random stains everywhere. They need to upgrade this. The breakfast was fine to start your day and began at 7.

    Basic room, costs $220

Do not recommend this place. Dirty, stinks, extra small rooms and not worth the cost to stay there.

The room was spacious, having a side table for us to spread out. Beds were very comfortable. The restaurant where the breakfast was served was a cozy room with a nice Western vibe. Good country music played in the background. Breakfast was your basic kind of hotel food-I did like the variety of cold items like the yogurt selection and the cereal selection. The lobby served coffee, hot apple cider, and hot cocoa with marshmallows which was nice after our long tour of Yellowstone National Park. The lobby of the hotel was nicely decorated for the Fall with a beautiful Fall themed Christmas Tree. The pool and hot tub were nice and spacious and they had a water slide which was fast, but fun. A plus was it was located in the end of town so it was nice and quiet. Quick 5-7 minute walk to the center of town. Only minor dislikes were the shower where there were no grab bars and that the TV didn't work so well. Someone came in to fix it though. The tub also clogged with water during showers. Would recommend! Thank you for a great stay!

Our room had two king beds and was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast each morning had plenty of choices and the food was very tasty. I also have to give a big shoutout to the Hotel Manager who kindly made the effort to ship back to my home a backpack that I carelessly left in the lobby during checkout.

We stayed in the motel part, and while the room was on the smaller side, was adequate. They have fresh baked cookies in the lobby and you get a voucher valid for up to $10 for breakfast and coffee, juice, soda, or hot chocolate. The front desk gals were friendly. We didn't use the pool (outdoor) or hot tub, but they looked nice. We paid about $170 per night not including taxes. They have RV parking. The last two nights, it seemed that a lot of the hot water ran out from others utilizing the shower next door at the same time. 2023 #51

Highly recommended as it came with our room. The room was clean, decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was excellent. The TV had a wide selection of channels, and it all worked correctly and was clean. Yes, this hotel may be costing just a little bit more. Since we will know, most likely not be back to Yellowstone I will tell you the truth in stating that they are under pricing their rooms at this place . They should be asking $100 more a night. Conservative estimate of everything that I've seen throughout all different hotel states and areas. They need to up their rates because they are actually too low by at least 20 to 40%. When we have breakfast, we watched a head, waiter training, a newer waiter. I was actually watching in a managerial way to see if he was following the correct way to train new employees. He was perfect and followed every single cell. They were polite, respectful, and their jobs extremely well. We really appreciated that Highly recommend

The cabins were comfortable in size, extremely clean, and very well set up for a Yellowstone trip. The kitchenette was especially useful for us, and having a dishwasher was a great bonus. The location really could not be beat -- it was very close to the West Yellowstone entrance, which helped us avoid a lot of traffic and made it easy to structure our days in the park. We were able to see the upper part of Yellowstone one day, the lower part another day, and then use the rest of our time to revisit and explore the places we wanted to see more deeply. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, which added to the overall experience. Another nice touch was the fire pits, which they turned on around 5 p.m. each evening. It was a fun and relaxed way to meet some of the other people staying at the cabins. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Comfortable cabins, a great location, friendly staff, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommended.
