I have been to Stage in PGA and was excited to check out this new location that opened in Boca! Would highly recommend the spicy tuna bombs! Such a unique dish and unlike anything you will find at other restaurants! The C.A.B. burger was also I am a little bit disappointed in the service. While dining Saturday afternoon for lunch, I asked the waitress if Stage was participating in Flavors of SoFl where various different restaurants offer prefix menus for a set price during the month of September since I remember spotting Stage on the list but wasn't 100% sure. She said she wasn't sure but would inquire, shortly later did come back and said they were NOT but went on to mention they were getting a Michelin star. I trusted that the information she gave me was correct but once I got home, I double checked myself regarding if Stage is participating in Flavor and they ARE! Its on their actual website as well with the menu listed stating promotion end September 30th and its a $29 per person for lunch! To add to my frustration the appetizer and entree we ordered were on the prefix menu but we were charged FULL PRICE (which came out to around $50 per person) instead of the promo they ARE offering but server neglected to have knowledge of. I totally got ripped off/ so disappointed and would not have expected that from this establishment! I had a great time with my dining buddy here. The place gets packed so I recommend a reservation, especially if you want the outside seats on a beautiful night. The cauliflower/paneer appetizer was great. My friend had the pork chop and said it was perfect. The naan bread was also upscale. I had great service and great food, the pricing here is elevated but you should get what you paid for. Very interesting pistachio/saffron ice cream for dessert. Noise level here is high so it's not a first date material restaurant. Parking can be a challenge depending on the day. Still with all of this, it's a must try. read more

Welcome to the neighborhood, Stage (pronounced Stahhhhge) Kitchen & Bar. We waited, and waited and alas you arrived. So beautiful, so elegant, so sophisticated in your design. Your wait staff and host are well-trained, polite and inviting. We felt so welcome, honored and comfortable sitting in 'table 40/The Mafia table' an upfront-booth that can accommodate 4. Rich navy, browns and gold touches feel sexy alongside the gorgeous lighting choices the designer of the restaurant chose. It is apparent that a lot of thought went into the decor. The menu is eclectic with a balance of shareable Indian-fusion dishes and obligatory condiments and chutney's. We started with cocktails. We both chose Stage's Hot & Bothered; a ghost pepper tequila, guava, lime, agave ($18). It packed the perfect punch of alcohol to spicy/sour ratio. Excellent sipping drink. We then order the SPICY CHEESE NAAN ($14) with ricotta (it was recommended but just ok and nothing special) and cucumber raita, a nice cooling condiment that complimented our spicy drinks. A recommendation for truffle honey was delicious but came out in a ramekin that made it hard to scoop and serve. For our shareable mains we tried and enjoyed the Lamb Kebab that comes with red onion and mint cilantro chutney ($21). The lamb was formed from mince and blended with delicate, warm spices such as coriander and cumin. I wish we had ordered more naan so that we could assemble a little 'sandwich' ourselves. Next time. We then also ordered a recommendation from our server a Wood Grilled Chicken PERI PERI that came with butternut squash, curry vinaigrette, onions and cilantro ($39). The moist chicken had a grilled/smokey quality that really shined through their marinade without being over powering as some wood oven dishes can get. For us, the butternut squash suffered from not being peeled rendering an off-putting hard bite. That's an easy fix for the chefs that I hope they do. We had the truffle honey on the table from our apps so we dipped the squash in that. For a vegetable we opted for their turnips. Unfortunately, they were bitter and somewhat burnt and we would not order them again. There are so many dishes we wanted to try but we were only 2 this time. On Friday evening I introduced Stage to our friends. We sat indoors in their very chic and hip dining area. It happened to be a very hot evening, which is why we decided to eat inside with it being much cooler. Before too long it was buzzing and honestly we could not hear each other speak. This is a hotspot in town along with the other two restaurants on either side of it. It has a Miami vibe with the music and excitement. Even our waitress, Cindy had a hard time hearing exactly what we wanted. However, she got the orders correct and was attentive to our needs. Paul first ordered one of his favorite drinks called a Side Car. Cindy was not familiar with this drink but the bartender must have known because before too long the delicious drink was delivered to Paul with the sugar rim. After a while, we were all able to decide what we were ordering. They offer hot or cold starters, and salads which can be shared. The menu is interesting and globally inspired which is why it took some time for us to decide. Paul and I had the lamb kabobs as our appetizer. They were very appealing with a nice texture, and we enjoyed them. For our entrees, three of us had the catch of the day- the halibut - PAN ROASTED LOCAL FISH | 39 gf okra, heirloom tomato, rassam hollandaise. It was outrageous. The sauce was fabulous and the fish was fresh and flaky. Paul had the WOOD GRILLED CHICKEN PERI PERI | 39 gf butternut squash, vinaigrette, onion, cilantro. The chicken was extremely moist and tender. It was also a great choice. We didn't have dessert this time but we all had coffee. Stage is part of the InKind application which allows each couple to pay their check and are credited 20% or more for their loyalty. When the check came, we reviewed it and saw some discrepancies. The Side car drink was outrageously priced at $26. I disputed the price and Dillon, the manager not only agreed to review it, but he graciously took it off our check as an unbelievable gesture. Great business! He also divided our check appropriately so each couple could pay their proper share on InKind. Really trendy place in a group of resturants with indoor and outdoor seating. This place was very busy on a Saturday night. The service was excellent Madelynn was our server and made some great suggestions off the menu. Service was quick and more like tapas and we all shared many of the items. 6 of us for dinner, we started with Spicy tuna bomb, Bang Bang Cauliflower, kababs and Korean BBQ Ribs. All was shareable and delicious! Then we went with three meals. The Shrimp and fish fried rice, most and delicious and a great twist to the dish, then the Tandoori Niman ranch Churassco steak. Could have been a little larger for the price but cooked perfectly The blue cheese onion and tomato salad was really tasty and our last dish was the Peri Peri chicken with a yummy cubed butternut squash. When they first opened here in Boca it was sooo good. The first time we went it was for dinner and the food and service were very good. The place was noisy, but it's to be expected due to the layout. After that we were going for happy hour on a regular basis. The food at happy hour was just as delicious as dinner and the drinks specials were good too esp with making minimal substitutions. But a few months later everything turned, and the food at HH was just okay and the sliders which were once very, very good were just bad; then they stopped allowing the subs in the drinks (tequila for vodka or viceaversa). It's a shame bc we always brought an entourage with us. After one more try, we moved on. We didn't want poor food and rude comments. There are so many places to eat in Boca that substandard just won't cut it. read more

One of the best meals I've had in Boca! There are three restaurants side by side, and this is the one in the middle - for some reason it seems like the other two were more popular on the night of our visit, but it provided for a great environment to have a business dinner with a colleague. The environment fosters wonderful communication, and there are opportunities to sit either inside or out. It is a sharing experience that they foster at Stage, so my colleague and I split a number of items. Everything was incredible from the meat, seafood, and vegetable entrees, and even the desserts are decadent and worthy of sharing. Since my colleague picked up the bill, I don't have the details on our server's name, but both he and his team were all very efficient and cordial. This is a higher-end price point than some restaurants in the area, so you should definitely go in with a creative palette and an expectation that you will be paying up for the value that's delivered. We arrived at 8:40 p.m. on a packed Saturday night, and despite our 9 p.m. reservation, we were seated right away--great start! The ambiance, however, was deafening. Between two rowdy parties and one high-pitched shrieker, I left wondering if they rent out hearing aids at the host stand. This place seriously needs noise dampening. Our server was clearly overwhelmed--he'd been on since opening with only a 20-minute break--but he was hustling hard. Drinks took a while, but the food came out fast. The "Hot & Bothered" cocktail? Perfection. The garlic naan with ricotta needed salt, but the spicy tuna bombs were flavor-packed and totally unique. We ordered Korean ribs, but they never made it. At that point, we didn't bother asking--we were already on to mains. We shared the tenderloin (ordered medium rare, served nearly mooing) and the shrimp & fish fried rice, which was tasty but hijacked by bacon. Good idea in theory, but it buried the seafood. Due to the noise, we fled to the empty bar for dessert and espresso martinis. I got the tequila version instead of vodka (oops), but the deconstructed banana cream pie was a sweet save. Despite the chaos, I'd recommend this spot. Creative menu, great ingredients, and solid value. Just bring earplugs and patience--and maybe clarify your martini spirit twice. read more

So if this isn't the Hottest Restaurant in Boca then I am definitely out of the loop.. which I am NOT. Went there last Saturday with NYC friends and the place was packed with people which made conversation with friends a little tough. Good for Lots of people watching though. Started with 2 Saratoga Bottled waters ($10) as they didn't have Pelligrino. Ordered 2 app's - the must try Duck Rolls & The Eggplant. If you like eggplant this is a must try. Neat presentation and taste. We followed that up with a Kai Gem Salad which was very good. Mains included : Local "Deck of Cards" Fish ($39) which the women said was oversalted and a delicious rendition of traditional Southern style Shrimp & Grits which I really liked. Our 4th Entree was the Niman Ranch Flat Iron steak which the waitress oversold it as really good... my guest said it was boring and unremarkable. Overall, an Indian slant on many dishes was apparent and enjoyed, that from a scared of Indian food eater. So in summation, it was a good first experience with really good service. If you've been to Stage or Ela in Palm Beach Gardens or Jupiter, you already know they don't just promise a great experience, they deliver it. This newest addition to the Stage family is no exception. Our party of 4 arrived on time and was seated immediately. We chose to sit outside until the sky opened up. Without a flinch, they quickly moved everyone inside and behaved like it happens daily. Nobody was flustered, which kept everyone happy. While the initial approach was a tad slow, we recognized that the sudden influx probably caused a small delay in getting to everyone. Once we were approached though, the service was 5 star. Our waitress, Cindy, was always smiling, had answers to every question, and worked as part of a well-oiled team. We shared every dish, and with the exception of the tile fish, each dish was large enough to be split amongst each of us. We started with the tuna ceviche, a dish that knocked me off my seat. The marriage of flavors and textures, combined with the presentation, set the tone for the meal. Tonight would be memorable. We then enjoyed the tuna bomb, a very delicate and exquisite dish I am challenged to describe, but one most highly recommended. We also ordered the brussel Caesar, which received mixed reviews from the table. One said it was the best dish, and while everyone enjoyed it, it wasn't the high point of the meal. Our next dish was Street corn, dressed in a crispy garlic and chili-lime toss. I couldn't get enough of it. Nuf said. Next, the kai-kai eggplant. Cooked and served in a sauce of coconut milk, kafir, tomato, basis, and garlic, it was flavorful, bold, and delicious. Definitely ordering it next time! We ordered the piri piri chicken. Perfectly cooked, accompanied by the best vegetable side dish I've possibly ever had. I actually let out an audible gasp when I took a bite. Outstanding! The white truffle and mushroom karanji is essentially an empanada, but like almost everything else, homemade and filled with extraordinary flavors. The lamb kabobs were good, but certainly not the star of the night. And while the local fish was rich with flavor, the amount of fish for the price didn't align. But the fish was delicious, just not a great value. The garlic Naan was pedestrian, good but nothing exceptional. The close of the meal was banoffee, a dish with roasted banana, white chocolate dulce de leche, and crumbled Graham crackers. It was the perfect end to a perfect meal. If I had one complaint it would be the noise level. Maybe it's age, but I'm finding restaurants much noisier than I used to. But even the noise can't keep me from coming back! Although Stage Kitchen in Boca, just opened this month, it felt like they've been in around longer. From the moment we arrived, the service was smooth. They initially suggested seating us outside, but we requested the inside table we reserved, and they quickly found a perfect spot on the bar side. The ambiance is stunning, with every detail carefully considered--from the covered outside to the open booths and the chef's table. Once seated, the manager stopped by a few times to ensure everything was going well, which was appreciated as they were a few slowdowns and filled those gaps. We started with the ribs, which were moist and flavorful. The avocado salad was nicely dressed and refreshing. The duck confit rolls were crispy and had a nice kick of spice. For our main course, we shared the chicken masala (served with rice) and naan. The flavors were fantastic, and the chicken was perfectly cubed, while the naan was fluffy. Don't skip dessert! First time dining at Stage kitchen and Bar in Boca Raton. I absolutely loved the variety of flavors in every dish. Tyler, the bartender had great recommendations and was able to break down every dish for me. I was so excited about the menu that I opted to try a few smaller plates. Spicy tuna bombs were excellent and further elevated with some serrano pickles.The plantain chaat was a fantastic combination of flavor and texture. Kai Kai eggplant was another winner. The made to order naan was a great vehicle for the eggplant as well. I came during the afternoon and sat at the bar while the restaurant wasn't too busy so I could really study the menu and pick the bartenders brain. The dining room is beautiful and there is plenty of patio seating as well. Stage also has a great happy hour 7 days a week from 2-7. If I wasn't so full I would have ordered the Korean bbq ribs, bang bang cauliflower and butter chicken. I'll be back for those! Amazing food, service and ambience. First of all love the location, the inside of the restaurant was adorable. It had a beautiful gray and black granite countertop, I loved the color contrast in the establishment as well everything just tied in together perfectly, even the restroom was nice! We went on a Wednesday I'm not sure if they do ladies night every week but it happened to be our lucky day when we strolled by and decided to get a drink! We were just planning on getting one drink while we waited for a dinner reservation in a nearby restaurant but the vibes in there were so good that we just decided to stay and it was such a good decision. Also really liked that they had a dj, but you didn't have to scream over the music to have a conversation it was at a really good volume where you can enjoy it and still be sociable. Lol I didn't have a single sour interaction with anyone either, the two people greeting you at the host stand outside were so sweet and welcoming. And the bartender was OUTSTANDING I love when I go out to eat and people actually seem delighted to chat with you, I wish I had gotten her name but she was just amazing! The food was great as well! The green hummus was DELICIOUS, the oysters were very fresh, I think they had topped it with a little bit of chopped garlic which was a nice touch, the only thing I will say is I wish they came with cocktail sauce, they tasted good but again personally I think it would have made the plate better if there was just a bit more flavor. But other than that the drinks were off the hizzle! I am a sucker for a good martini and let me tell you this may have been one of the best I've ever had, and they get the portions so perfect. This is an Indian restaurant but not really it's Indian infused restaurant indoor outdoor seating. The waiter Taylor was very informative and helpful, but unfortunately service was very slow. We had the shrimp and grits which were tasty but came out lukewarm. Also had the vegetable PACHADI salad, which I thought was very good. We also had a KARANJI which was mushrooms cheese, which was very tasty also had the hummus, which was very different but good and hamburgers. The people that ate the hamburgers said it was good with potatoes, but really an Indian food restaurant with hamburgers trying to keep everybody happy parking is available but very hard because there's three major restaurants one next to the other they do have valet parking, but $15 for valet parking that was very surprising. This is a restaurant to come with a few people so you can try a few of their items. We did not have any alcohol, but alcohol is available. It was a restaurant which I would say was pricey. read more

A staff member also dropped off a truffle honey to try with it (complementary) for mains I had the octopus (fabulous) and we ordered a steak which even tho I didn't think was taking long they explained they overcooked it and making us a fresh one, and to make up for us gave us a complementary dessert, we had to sticky toffee cake which was amazing!! The interior is modern and the colors are very calming - grey and brown,. The music, even at lunch, is a little too loud, but I could still hear my table mate. There is outdoor seating as well, but it isn't any quieter and not all the tables are shielded from the sun. The food and drinks are expensive, especially for lunch, e.g., $28 for an expresso martini and $38 for a half chicken! The menu itself is diverse from patatas bravas to curries. We ordered the Korean ribs, Ceasars salad, Peri Peri chicken, and garlic Naan. The chicken was moist. Flavors were all strong. My partner liked the chicken best of what we ordered. Friends who were here last night are still raving about how great their meal was. I was surprised the brussel sprout Ceasars salad was warm and so small. The bread was warm and fluffy, but a bit too oily. The service was adequate- friendly, attentive, but our server didn't seem to know the menu well. Nothing was bad, but the flavors weren't for me. Julia gave us a thorough background about the restaurant, the chef and the food. She made great recommendations and the food didn't disappoint. The modern design of the restaurant was very pleasant and the high ceilings gave it an open and very cool vibes. It feels like a breath of fresh air. We tried many items at Stage and most were very good to excellent and this execution can't be easy as the menu is eclectic and varied with different cuisines, cooking techniques and ingredients, yet Stage pulled it off. Stage's chefs are really skilled in bringing out distinctive flavors and even sides dishes such as broccoli were elevated. The Spicy Tuna Bomb was unique and addictive. Green Chickpea Hummus was also good and packed with flavor. The waiter told us that the concept of the kitchen is "globally expired" an ambitious title which usually translates to mediocrity from everywhere but Stage didn't follow that template and diverse items excelled. A Beef with Brocolli had great flavor and excellent sides. Butter Chicken Masala had a slight kick to it and was good. Save room for dessert because the toffee cake was a great version. Service from Michael was excellent and the resturant is nicely decorated without being over the top. Why four stars instead of five? The drinks were the cheapest pours I've had in South Florida and like many people I don't like my soda served from a can or bottle and prefer fountain taste and the refills. No worries and next time I'll bypass the stingy bar but not the excellent food. read more

Full of lively flavors to whet every appetite. Their HH offerings are interesting and tasty. Cocktails on deck are equally delicious to imbibe and beautiful to reflect on.The dinner side of offerings, a simple duck confit roll with peanut chutney is packed full of duck meat, no other filler. YUM! I went with a tamarind chutney alternative as the peanut chutney has dairy - no fly zone for me. Street corn is a favorite. What better way to eat roasted corn that is off the cob and you can just shovel spoonfuls into your face without pick stuff out of your teeth later :0 We were an intimate group of 25 for HH and Danielle our Bartender was a rock star and took care of all of us this Friday. We did arrive on the earlier side to score a booth near the bar and wrap around stool area. Management was very easy about us moving barstools around to keep us together. Have only been there for their bar area seating, therefore could not comment on the dining room space. This is our 2nd go around as a group, so for us- a great spot! Worth a try! read more

This was probably the worst dining experience we've had in the last 10 years. 4 people - 4 abysmal meals. The waiter was lost and the Manager bored when we asked for our food after a 40 minute wait. trust us ..... Run for your lives ! read more
