My wife loves tacos and we saw this small shop inside the Superior in Chino. Really small place but friendly staff. We got the 25 taco platter and upgraded some tacos to birria taco. It took about 15 minutes to have them ready, it was a lot of tacos. They presented them well, but the quality of the meat was fair. For the carnitas they were a little on the dry side, as well as the Birria tacos. Not worth the upgrade. The best meat was the chicken and Carne asada tacos. Overall a decent place at a decent price. We don't regret it, but we probably will try a different place next time. Give it a shot,

Dropped in at Stand Up Tacos after picking up some marinated chicken at Superior. Was intrigued by their loud "Taco Tuesday" signage heralding $1.50 street style Tacos (asada, carnitas, al pastor or buche) and was hooked by the enticing smells emanating from their flat top grill, aka plancha. I chose simply- a quartet of Asada tacos, heaped with finely diced white onions and cilantro. The service was quick and pleasant. The Tacos were good, fulfilling. A Stand up value on your Stand up Tacos!

Worst rip off ever! I ordered the Caldo de rez to go and was a total of 18.00 dollars , only to come home and find 3 small pieces of meat 2 bite size pieces of cabbage and 1 potato . Ridiculous portion! It was all broth . Even the rice was a little amount, a quarter of a small cup. I was even charged a 1.00 dollar misc. fee . I don't recommend coming here at all, stick to Cardenas where they pack the bowl at only 10.99. Calling in was no help, just trying to justify the portion.

What does it take to believe in all the things you believe? Wednesday Flautas Special from #standuptacoschino

As you know, I'm a sucker for a good flauta. And this, while not the best, are a decent example of flautas for an under $10 price point for the combo on Wednesdays. It's crunchier than I like--I always think of a doughy fried flour tortilla around beef when I think flautas--but a crunchier corn tortilla is fine. But to me that ventures into taquito territory. And you do get four with the plate. The rice and beans were alright. The only letdown were the sour cream and guac, but that's easily remedied by asking them to hold it. The service and ambiance were fine; it is a joint inside a grocery store after all. But I thought it was serviceable and clean, and all the staff were very friendly. One bad point is that it had a lot of microtransactions, like charging $1 for refills on your soda and $1 for using a credit cards. If it were not for this nickel and diming, I think I would be back more often. But as it is, it really puts a bad taste in my mouth when the price isn't the price for the practices I normally do free of charge anywhere else.

Had the burrito graving and yelp led me here. The location is inside the Superior grocery store which at first I was hesitant but gave it a try. I ordered the Carna asada wet burrito which didn't disappoint. The red sauce was nice and spicy and had toppings on top with the cheese and sauce. Overall the burrito was tasty although it could have been a little larger in size, more meat. There is a charge to use your credit card which is a downer.

The tacos here are SOOOO GOOD and such a bargain: Tues: Buche, pollo, carnitas, al pastor $1.25 / asada $1.50 Thur: Fish taco $1.25 Friday: Shrimp taco $1.25 They put plenty of protein and veggies on each taco and everything tastes fresh! I could literally eat here everyday! It's so hard to decide which I love best -- buche, fish, or shrimp! Red salsa is delicious. I perfer it better than their green. They also have a dark red salsa that is also awesome. This place is small with only a fewe tables, and located within a groxery store.

Flor is always nice and welcoming once one steps in. I'll usually place my order and grab what ever items I need from Superior Grocery Store and return to find my order ready to go. Highly recommended, flavor is great, burrito portion is fulfilling and the hospitality has always been on par. Nice ambiance.

Blurry but you can make out the price for the lengua combo

I tried the teriyaki beef fries, and unfortunately, the fries were a bit too salty for my taste. The chicken was decent, but nothing particularly special that made it stand out. I was also expecting the teriyaki sauce to have more of an authentic, homemade flavor. To me, it tasted more like a sauce that came pre-made rather than something made from scratch. The restaurant itself is pretty cute and cozy inside, but the customer service could definitely use some improvement. When I first called to place my order, the woman I spoke with seemed like she was in a huge rush and didn't sound very welcoming. Once she realized I was placing an order for over $100 worth of food, though, her tone completely changed--which I definitely noticed. Would I go back? Honestly, I'm not sure. It wasn't terrible, but it also didn't leave me thinking, "I have to come back here!" There are definitely some things they could improve, especially the food seasoning, sauce, and customer service.

A friend of mine loved to go to Juan Pollo in Covina location. Not sure if they're franchise or individually operated. I ordered the 2 pieces leg and thigh chicken with 2 side order meal with no drink. The cost is $10.99 plus tax. I chose rice and green salad for my side. The portion is not bad at all and I left feeling full! I couldn't even eat the green salad and only ate 1 out of 3 tortillas. Basically I gobbled everything up and I dont know if it's because of the starvation, but I loved how juicy both chicken pieces were. One big downside for me was how oily these chicken pieces were. Way too oily for my liking and I was honestly questioning it whether they roasted or deep fried the chicken given the amount of oil on my plate. But the meat part is definitely juicy! Way too hungry to think much, I just removed the skin and toss them aside. The rice is definitely different unlike other rice in similar restaurant. It's flavored with chicken pieces, green onions and other seasonings that make this bowl of rice special. There's lots of parking so I dont think parking is gonna be an issue. The establishment can be a bit cleaner but I love how friendly and courteous the staffs were. They greeted each customers coming in and out. I would come back again especially for the chicken and rice but I would probably ask if they can make mine less oily.
