Worst rip off ever! I ordered the Caldo de rez to go and was a total of 18.00 dollars , only to come home and find 3 small pieces of meat 2 bite size pieces of cabbage and 1 potato . Ridiculous portion! It was all broth . Even the rice was a little amount, a quarter of a small cup. I was even charged a 1.00 dollar misc. fee . I don't recommend coming here at all, stick to Cardenas where they pack the bowl at only 10.99. Calling in was no help, just trying to justify the portion.

As you know, I'm a sucker for a good flauta. And this, while not the best, are a decent example of flautas for an under $10 price point for the combo on Wednesdays. It's crunchier than I like--I always think of a doughy fried flour tortilla around beef when I think flautas--but a crunchier corn tortilla is fine. But to me that ventures into taquito territory. And you do get four with the plate. The rice and beans were alright. The only letdown were the sour cream and guac, but that's easily remedied by asking them to hold it. The service and ambiance were fine; it is a joint inside a grocery store after all. But I thought it was serviceable and clean, and all the staff were very friendly. One bad point is that it had a lot of microtransactions, like charging $1 for refills on your soda and $1 for using a credit cards. If it were not for this nickel and diming, I think I would be back more often. But as it is, it really puts a bad taste in my mouth when the price isn't the price for the practices I normally do free of charge anywhere else.

Had the burrito graving and yelp led me here. The location is inside the Superior grocery store which at first I was hesitant but gave it a try. I ordered the Carna asada wet burrito which didn't disappoint. The red sauce was nice and spicy and had toppings on top with the cheese and sauce. Overall the burrito was tasty although it could have been a little larger in size, more meat. There is a charge to use your credit card which is a downer.

Flor is always nice and welcoming once one steps in. I'll usually place my order and grab what ever items I need from Superior Grocery Store and return to find my order ready to go. Highly recommended, flavor is great, burrito portion is fulfilling and the hospitality has always been on par. Nice ambiance.

The tacos here are SOOOO GOOD and such a bargain: Tues: Buche, pollo, carnitas, al pastor $1.25 / asada $1.50 Thur: Fish taco $1.25 Friday: Shrimp taco $1.25 They put plenty of protein and veggies on each taco and everything tastes fresh! I could literally eat here everyday! It's so hard to decide which I love best -- buche, fish, or shrimp! Red salsa is delicious. I perfer it better than their green. They also have a dark red salsa that is also awesome. This place is small with only a fewe tables, and located within a groxery store.

The best tacos ever! The meat is very tasty and not greasy at all! Fresh items on the salsa bar. I used to live in a border town in Texas and I've been to several authentic Mexican restaurants and taquerias. Stand up tacos is the best by far! I first had the Stand up monster taco Al Pastor. Yummm! Then I learned that they have 99c taco Tuesday (meats) and fish taco Thursday. I've been going there 1-2x a week since I discovered this little gem! Thanks to the owners of this superb place for making my tummy happy! :) read more

This little restaurant is inside the El Superior Grocery store (right side entrance). The check-in promo I was told doesn't work if they have other specials going on? We went on a Tuesday and they had .99 cent tacos. I'm still confused, but whatever. The lady at the register ended up giving my son his small drink anyways - she was really nice. Aside from that mini snag, I have to say the food was pretty good. My kids devoured the carne asada tacos and my hubby and I tried the lengua, al pastor, asada, and fish. Their agua frescas were a big hit with my kids as well (sandia and limon). We'll definitely try this spot again when we are in the area. read more

Wish I gotten pictures before inhaling two of their AMAZING chicken tacos. This place is fast and convenient, located right inside the grocery store. The staff was very nice and the tacos were SUPER FRESH. So full of flavor it only left me wanting more!! I'm so happy I stumbled across this hole in the wall truly delicious!!! read more

A HUGE shout out to Stand Up Tacos for catering my family event. Not only is their food great dining in, but their catering service is Top Knotch! We ordered food for over 130 guests, and thanks to their accurate estimate, all my family was satisfied. Great quality, plenty of food with all the fixings and most importantly, people at my event were pleased and were left with a good impression on what great Mexican food is supposed to taste like. I have purchased the tortas, tacos of every flavor. I would give them a 2 stars...very little meat..all veggies are cut very finely so you don't get to taste the lettuce onion or tomato. The salsas are not spicy, very mild. For their prices I want more quality. I hope they read this and put pride in their food. I am a Mexican American who cooks and who's family likes to cook. We value restaurants that put pride in what they do. read more

My review is based on the Pomona location (on Garvey). They are owned by the same owner so I will give my feedback here. Well, this new location in Pomona is not great at all. First, location has super poor parking. I got there at 8:15am and there was no parking anywhere. I had to park a block away. Second, there is a Zumba class next door and they "Zumba" with the door open and music full blast. Sitting in restaurant I can't even here myself thing. Next, the young girl in the front has poor customer service and hosting skills. Lastly, the Menudo taste like Juanita's canned Menudo. It was weak... I don't know how the Chino location is but I could say Pomona is Weak. I'm willing to give them a second chance by trying the Chino location but I'll never go to Pomona again. Yuck! read more

I went after work to eat with my mom and daughter. I ordered fish tacos, really good. My daughter ordered a carnitas torta. She was almost done with it when I noticed her bun was sticky, I believe from the grill, old oil that they don't clean off. read more

My father and I went just an hour before closing and they still hooked it up! My dad said he really liked the shrimp cocktail, and I myself got to try some of his and it was delicious! Definitely the best I've had since eating out. I ordered myself some asada fries and yes they were bomb, they don't add salsa for your preference from their salsa bar. They also hook it up with drinks!! I will definitely be back to try some other foods from the menu! read more

Taco Tuesday, taco Thursday and taco Friday! All in one week!!! We had Asada for taco Tuesday, but they give 4 options. They were delicious, didn't make me feel all greasy and lazy afterwards. The customer service is great. They let us try all the aguas frescas. My fav is the cucumber lime. Super refreshing. We tried fish taco Thursday which was good and the shrimp taco Friday which I enjoyed as well. All 99cents. The fish and the shrimp were kinda one the small side. They gave a small piece of fried fish and shrimp. I'm kinda used to the bigger pieces. Over all , opened at 8am super convenient. read more

I ordered the fish tacos ($.99ea.) And this is what they looked like. The only complaint that I have is that I'm used to places like Senor Baja and El Pescador making the fish fresh to order; this place had them off to the side sitting on a plate. Overall...not bad for the price and if I'm in the area and it's a Thursday I will definitely stop in if I'm in the mood. read more

**If you're driving around the parking lot wondering where this place is, it's on the right entrance to the market.** I grew up in SoCal, so I've had a lot of Mexican food in LA and the surrounding areas. That being said, this place is one of the better ones that I've been to, and I would definitely come back again. The tortillas are fresh made, and you can definitely taste it. The meat (I got carnitas and chicken) is well-cooked to be juicy and well-seasoned. Tuesdays is Taco Tuesday (0.99 tacos), and Fridays is 0.99 cent shrimp tacos (note that their tacos are smaller than the average taco and would fit in the palm of an average person). The prices are totally reasonable for the portions on other menu items / non-special days. Good selection of both food and drinks. Would note that there isn't too much seating and it probably isn't good for parties over 4 if you want to dine in. read more

I give this place a four-star because The food is good but they try to upsell and not give u what u are paying for. Basically, getting more money off you with a smile. I got nachos that didn't even have a spoonful of Asada or beans, I ordered a carne Asada burrito with extra meat that was regular and didn't have extra meat, I order a shrimp burrito that had nothing but rice I got fish tacos which were bomb, but step up your game. read more

99¢ Shrimp taco Fridays?! YES PLEASE It's a small little shop at the entrance of the super market. Seats maybe 12-14 at most but I've never had a problem getting a table. Most people I see get their food to-go. They have a nice little salsa bar and a wide variety of meats/seafood. The shrimp tacos were amazing, really small but for 99¢ definitely worth it. And don't forget to check in for the free aguas frescas! read more

I love this taco spot!! It's close by my work and located inside the supermarket towards the right side. Their chicken and carne asada meat is super delicious! Also try their agua frescas. Show up on Fridays for their Shrimp Friday taco specials. Word of advice, check your order before you head out, they tend to forget some items but nothing to fuss over; its usually because theyre super busy- thats how you know the place is good! read more

Been to Stand Up Tacos twice in just 2 days! The restaurant is extremely clean which makes you excited to eat there instead of skeptical. Also , the employees are friendly and eager to get your food served to you quick while still being fresh! Tried just about every variety of taco they offered and all meats were delicious although my favorites were cabeza & asada. Would recommend this place to friends and family without a doubt! Love this place! I went here 3 times in one week and Im not even burnt out on tacos yet! Taco Tuesdays (meat tacos), Fish taco Thursdays and Shrimp taco Fridays! What?! and they're all $1...my head is exploding! So, their tacos are bomb! I also ordered a giant ass burrito from here, very good! I had to mark them down one star because I can't hang with their salsas, they put hair on my lip and now I have to get my face threaded next door. But honestly, their food is great, fast, and definitely affordable. You should come here, but beware of their salsas, they are not for the weak. I personally cannot handle them, even the mild is pretty hot. Other than that, I think Im going to go back next week, maybe 4 time so I can try their other items. Yum yum! read more

Fast, friendly, fresh food. Everyday is a different taco special. The carne asada is tasty in a taco or burrito. I especially enjoy the fresh lime, cucumber, Chia water! Highly recommend when craving flavorful tacos. Updating 12/23 Not as good! Carne asada quality has diminished! Por favor don't skimp on quality. The flavor is still there, but 3 bites of my burrito, and I have spit out chewy fat! Not their usual quality on carne asada meat-- and I can't say for sure this is the best choice for carne asada meat. We went on a Friday evening and it was packed. Not sure if I'm going back.... sad! read more

Chino has its share of great taco places, but Stand Up Tacos ends up stealing first place from the few I still visit. These folks know how to make good food, and I feel welcome every time I go in there. What's even better is that it's placed in a market, replacing all nightmares of a McDonald's or Subway taking the space instead. If you're hungry and in the area, stop here for a definite upgrade from the nearby Alberto's. read more

Food was average on top that they have a B rating and the young lady working here has the worst ghetto attitude ever rolling her eyes giving us attitude like she's mad at the world will never come back here again if you're in the area just goto albertos way better food and service anyway! My go to place for Taco Tuesdays in Chino! $.99 for meat tacos ain't bad. They were albeit small but were loaded with meat, cilantro and onions. I ordered 3 pastor and 1 chicken tacos. The pastor was excellent but the chicken was a little dry and bland. They have fresh salsa bar. Plus you get a free large soda with yelp check in. I've also tried their pastor burrito with guac (.75 extra). It was good but I prefer the tacos. read more

Being the first time to do the Tuesday tacos I seriously picked the wrong place to go.. I found them on Yelp... when I went there to pick up my food their customer service was seriously bad... I get it, it was 30 mins to closing but they were still open. Be grateful us as your customers give you business... I bought 12 tacos I asked for the mild sauce... and I dont understand greedy service!!! She literally gave me 2 scoops of it.. it didnt even fill the containers all the way to the top!! So I had asked can I get more she literally was like well we charge!!! I'm like forget it.. I dont understand how I buy 12 tacos and I dont get to get enough sauces for each taco I bought.. I mean seriously!!!! So honestly I will never come here again it was the first and last bad experience especially for it being my first time doing a taco Tuesday night.. read more

Their burgers are really tasty, the eggs are light and fluffy, the bacon and sausage are flavorful, and the pancakes are soft, tender, and cooked just right. The customer service is excellent. The staff checks on you several times throughout your meal to make sure you have everything you need, which I really appreciate. This place is always busy with lots of customers, and that's usually a good sign. Even with the crowd, the service is still great. There's also a decent amount of parking available. I'll definitely keep coming back to try more items on their menu!

The food deserves a 5-star review. The drive-through experience deserves a serious operational overhaul. It's flavored with chicken pieces, green onions and other seasonings that make this bowl of rice special. There's lots of parking so I dont think parking is gonna be an issue. The establishment can be a bit cleaner but I love how friendly and courteous the staffs were. They greeted each customers coming in and out.
