Our first visit to the Teriyaki House Grill was very good. I heard good things about this place, but every time I drove by, the parking lot was packed, but the inside appeared only moderately busy. This time, we drove in the lot and found a parking space open. Inside, there were about four people eating. We ordered the teriyaki beef and chicken combination and a side of fries to share. The portion was very good for the price, and we enjoyed both items. We also noticed they sell hamburgers, teriyaki fries, etc. The service was also very good. This place has good tasty food however they are very very stingy with their teriyaki sauce and salad dressing. The food is not inexpensive and they should provide you extra teriyaki sauce upon request without charging you for every little portion of sauce. They provide a minimal amount of sauce (and salad dressing) but never enough as it gets soaked up easily by the rice and chicken etc.. My goodness, the place is called Teriyaki House Grill! You should be able to get enough teriyaki sauce on your meal. It's very silly - they basically charge you extra for every last drop of teriyaki sauce/dressing. Please do better. read more

I have come to this location often but always forget to take some pictures and leave a review. This time, my sister and I tried the burgers and fries--honestly, one of the best burgers I've tried in a long time. Every time I come to this restaurant, there are people there. Someone is there to take your order and there are also self-service kiosks where you can place your order. I have tried the teriyaki bowls too--chicken and chicken/beef. The portions are good and the prices are also decent, too. The restaurant is always clean and I've never had any negative interactions with the staff. I also brought friends with me and recommended coworkers to come. BUT the service is really left to be desired. I thought it was weird, but maybe they ran out of paper so that is fine since there was only 1 person in front of me (When I was ordering there was a family of four ordering from the kiosk which only completely the payment after I did.) Another couple came in after them and ordered dined in. 25 min went by I watched the lady in front of my got her food, the family of four got their food to go, and the couple got their food dined in. I informed the lady at the counter that I have not gotten my order yet and I didn't get a receipt, so I don't remember what order number you told me. She didn't remember what I ordered and responded "but I told you your order number". An sheriff officer that came in for lunch thought I had just order, so online order will be faster, but after I explained to him that I ordered 25+ min ago and have already watched customers that ordered on the spot behind me gotten their food. Finally got my order and got back to the office, surprise...they forgot the extra green onion. The staff did apologies for the inconvenience, but her previous response triggered me, so I didn't bother respond. Watched a worker get mad that a customer was in the bathroom, looks like he wanted to clean it 45 min before closing. When I asked the employee who handed me my order to confirm it was correct, he responded in a very rude and dismissive way, which immediately put me off. On top of that, the place itself was dirty, and the overall atmosphere just felt like the workers didn't care about their customers at all. The girl said that they had to mop because they were closing and don't do dine in the last hour. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger combo on March 7, 2026, which should have come with fries. However, upon arriving back home, I saw that the fries were missing. I called several times that night to try and get a refund; it would've been too much to drive back, but the phone kept hanging up on me. I called the next morning, only for the same thing to happen. I've noticed this place on a few popular foodie IG accounts and thought I'd give this spot a try since I happened to be somewhat in the area. Upon entering, to the right are a couple of self-ordering screens, or straight ahead is the cashier. To the left of entering, you will see a nicely sized dining area with plenty of chairs and tables. During my visit, I ordered their beef and chicken teriyaki bowl and a California Roll as a side order. Their beef and chicken teriyaki bowl was incredibly generous in size. The beef and chicken were both tender, moist, and strong in teriyaki flavor! I highly recommend ordering this! For my side order, I purchased their California roll and although it was a good price, I was a bit disappointed. There is just so much rice and it didn't seem to be seasoned with rice vinegar. There was just so much rice, that I couldn't even tell if I had crab or cucumber because all I could taste was the rice. I even asked my family and they felt the same way. I can only hope I can come back sometime soon for their teriyaki bowls and try other things as well. The Teriyaki Bowls alone are worth it to come on by! Visited Teriyaki House grill for a quick dinner after work. Location is hard to find if you are not watching... tucked far behind the neighboring building. Restaurant was fairly small, with a digital terminal to order. Various bottled drinks and the classic gum all machine by the door, with a cashier to take your order. The "classic" bowl came in 3 sizes. Ordering a large beef bowl and a large drink my bill hit 18.00, quite expensive for the amount of food. The bowl itself was large, but not as big as something "large" from a Chinese restaurant. Food itself had a strong teriyaki savory flavor that hit well. The white rice was cooked well. The food itself was missing vegetables, maybe the nearly 18.00 dollar plate would add that... The chairs were hard, metal, and not designed for larger people... they were uncomfortable. They are located on Riverside Drive in Chino, CA, next to the Aamco. We placed the order online for pickup. We ordered: Combination Beef and Chicken Plate w/Avocado, 8 piece California Rolls and a Cheeseburger. Upon arrival, their parking is very limited in my opinion, so just a heads up. I went inside to pick up my order and was on my way home. We were both eager to try and were very disappointed. Our whole order tasted a burnt charcoal. The Beef and the Avocado especially had somewhat charred lines. The Cheeseburger was charred. Not sure if the grill was cleaned, but it did not taste good in my personal opinion. I understand that it is charbroiled, but this was not the case. The portions were very generous, but were not enjoyable. The sushi was okay, but dry. Despite it being close to closing time, we decided to stop by Teriyaki House Grill. To our pleasant surprise, the place was clean, and the staff was very friendly. My niece and I both ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl she got a medium, and I got a small. The food was so fresh and flavorful! I couldn't even finish my small bowl, and my niece was able to share her medium bowl with her daughter definitely a great portion for the price. I love this place. You know those hidden gems where you would never stop by unless someone first tells you about it? That's the Teryaki House Grill. Soooo many options. Take a look at their menu. But the classic chicken bowl is our favorite. The chicken is good, the sauce is yummy (little less sweet than Fuji grills which I like and not the watery stuff like at an L & L), and the rice... I never rave about rice... but the bowl comes out super hot... and the rice itself is SUPER HOT and perfectly cooked. Strange but it is so good and actually adds to the experience. They also have fried jalepenos with the salt on it that you would find at a Mexican restaurant. And the hot yellow chili peppers that you would find at in n out. And Siracha. I love spice, so I love the options. The service is quick. It's clean inside although the exterior and parking lot aren't that appealing. It's super spacious and seems like a popular joint. They have two kiosks you can order from and a cashier too. Service has been good except one time I went one of the younger girl cashiers wasn't very welcoming and made every request I had seem like a bit of a bother, but I'm guessing that's not the norm. I hope it was just a bad day. It wasn't awful, but definitely uncomfortable enough that when we went back the next day (lol we were craving it again) I found myself hoping it was a different cashier. I was happy when it was bc all the rest of them have been super nice. Good restaurants are made from good food and good service. Anyhow try it out if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed. Ok so definitely not worth 20$ a plate for half steak half chicken, it's actually 16 and some change, 2$ extra for avocado. The plate comes with a salad that you can substitute for more rice or fries. The service is terrible, girls are rude and .25 cents if you'd like any extra house teriyaki can you say rip off lol gave me two napkins in the bag and the teriyaki was a mess very sticky all over the bag.
