My mother, sister, and I have been going to Prosthodontic Associates of New York for many years now…read more(probably just around 15 or so) and we have all received the most top-notch care from the entire team and staff. I have been singing this practice's praises for so many years, and I would recommend them a thousand times over. Dr. Abjanich, Dr. Donovan, and Dr. Goldin are absolute masters of their craft. Not only that, but they also have the most phenomenal bedside manner. Dr. Abjanich, Dr. Donovan, and Dr. Goldin are all perfectionists yet they have never suggested unnecessary procedures or tried to upsell their services. The hygienists are also fabulous. The front desk staff is so friendly, helpful, extremely responsive (I've called and they've texted me back right away), and accommodating of busy schedules (greatly appreciated with demanding work hours). The office is immaculate, beautiful, spacious, and in a great location (right near Grand Central). Dr. Donovan did my Invisalign in the year leading up to my sister's wedding (I had crowding on my bottom teeth and I wanted to change that), and I couldn't be happier with the results. I've also had my teeth whitened with the Zoom system here, which was great to do before my engagement shoot and wedding. My teeth always feel immaculate after the cleanings. I always get so many compliments on my smile, and I always tell people to give this practice a call. Most people complain about going to the dentist, seriously dread it, or even avoid going altogether. I've never been able to relate to that. Dr. Abjanich just retired recently, and I'm going to miss him so much, but the practice is in great hands with Dr. Donovan and Dr. Goldin. They're absolutely amazing, as noted above. Professional photos/videos haven't come in from my wedding yet, but I received so many compliments on my smile, so I thought I'd share them here. If there were an option to assign negative stars, I would use it here…read more I saw Dr. Alper twice earlier this year (2018). I scheduled a cleaning, which proceeded perfectly well. The hygienist was excellent and told me my teeth were in good shape. When it was time for Dr. Alper to do his dental exam, he arrived and quickly determined I had 4 cavities that required filling. When I went home that night, I shared this news with my wife and she thought it sounded suspect. I responded that the dentist was honest and he wouldn't falsify cavities. Upon returning to the first visit to get a filling, I was informed that my dental insurance had reached its capacity and I would need to pay $435 out-of-pocket. The visit proceeded normally and he filled two cavities. A few weeks later, I returned to get the other cavities filled. Upon checking in, the receptionist informed me that it would be $950 out-of-pocket since my insurance had already maxed out. This is when the seeds of doubt began sowing in my head. Something didn't add up. I politely canceled the visit and asked them to send me my x-rays. A few weeks later, I visited another dentist in the neighborhood. He gave me a cleaning, inspected my mouth and reviewed my x-rays. He told me I had been bamboozled because there are no cavities in my mouth. He sent me home saying "come back in 6 months for a cleaning". Since the two visits to Dr. Alper had maxed out my annual insurance limit, there was nothing left to cover the cleaning or exam. Sympathetic to my situation, the other dentist generously gave me the cleaning and exam on the house. It turns out Dr. Alper was not in my network despite what I was told when making the original appointment. They had billed my insurance at more than 2x market rates. Dr. Alper deserves to be reported to the NYC Dept of Health for his unethical behavior. I was determined to do it to protect others from his scams, but haven't yet had the time. In addition, his front desk staff are painfully unhelpful and failed to inform me that my visits would be billed as out-of-network procedures. If I had known this from the beginning, I could have avoided this whole miserable ordeal. Don't waste your time or money here and don't be fooled by the nice offices. There are plenty of honest dentists out there who will treat you well.

I came to this office for tooth extraction and dentures, in severe pain. I am on medicaid and…read moreneeded emergency extractions so I could get dentures. I had someone willing to help me have my teeth extracted. Dr. Igor Deckhkanov and Dr. Howard Wang intentionally harmed me and refused me full tooth extraction and dentures. I have infection, bone loss, metal allergies and type 2 diabetes. Dentures are literally my only option. Dr. Wang cracked a tooth and broke two crowns extracting only four teeth. Dr. Wang refused to extract anymore saying they weee healthy teeth, which is false. CBCT proved him totally wrong. Dr. Wang charged over $6000 to cause me harm removing only four teeth for that ridiculous price. Dr. Dekhkanov charged $1000 to replace the temporary crowns Dr. Wang broke. They were on horribly decayed, painful teeth Dr. Wang refused to extract. The temporaries look like they were made by a preschooler. Their xrays and cbct were unusable by other dentists and were $600. Dr. Dekhkanov intentionally did not point out infection in my teeth and mouth. I had to point it out to him on CBCT. It is overt infection needing biopsy and culture. And then Dr. Dekhkanov prescribed me a pediatric dose of antibiotic to treat the infection he tried to hide from me. He and Dr. Wang refused to extract my teeth for dentures. I am already missing 10 teeth. I believe their refusal was an intent to prevent treatment of infection and bone loss. I believe they work with the shadow government in this metaverse who intend to cause harm to very specific people. Evil men. I have conditions which prevent me from being able to have further crowns and root canals. Dentures are the only option for teeth, and they refused. Please see the videos I uploaded of them refusing to extract my teeth for dentures and providing no option for teeth.

It actually looked better than before. I was really impressed with how much time she spent with me. She was very thorough and even though I had come in for veneer maintenance, she did an inspection of my whole mouth. She actually found something with my molars that my last dentist had missed.
