Online Order and Pick-up. I ordered Epson Inks online. 2 hour pick up time they stated. I show up 2 hours later to wait 15 minutes. to be told that they dont have stock in the inks I ordered. That I had to come back later in the day. I also was warned to call because they might not have them. This store has failed me more than once. I decided to cancel the order than to try again with this store. I run a small business in San Dimas, so this store was convenient. But with the mediocre service, never having the inks available I just cant waste more time and money with this store. forewarned is forearmed!! read more

I am giving this four stars because the cost to print something is EXTREMELY expensive. But other than that I can't complain. I came to print out something for my friend's birthday, and it was a pretty big word document, about ninety pages. I was able to figure out the computer fine. The employee showed me everything and seemed willing and friendly to help. I came in the morning when there was no one there, so it was empty, and I liked having the place to myself. Afterwards, I bought a plastic folder for the pages I had printed out. I found a nice folder, but again, it was pretty pricey. Nevertheless, I got what I needed, and fast, and the best part was my friend loved the gift. I would come here again if I needed anything printed. read more

Tried to go to staples tonight. Online it states that they close at 9pm. It was 20 minutes to 9 and a person turned me away telling me they close at 8pm. Not happy at all at this point. You being as big as you are should update yours hours online as soon as they change. No excuses. read more

Worst store, horrible customer service!!!! Ugh!!!! I walk in Sunday, was told the chair I was looking for was in stock, 15 minutes later, they can't find it, asked to come back tomorrow as they were closing...went back Monday, they still can't find the chair, took them 45 minutes to order it for me, said it would come in the following day, two days later, no call, no chair, decided to stop in, manager was on hold for 15 minutes waiting for status, he tells me it would be best to return it because they think it left their City of Industry center but didn't make it...so frustrating! Sadly, it happened once before, I thought I'd give them another chance, never again. read more

I did this review just for you Jerome, the General Manager of this Staples (I apologize if I spell the name incorrectly) I came in 7pm just to get some prints for my resume and references. I was looking for a job. I waited in line for like less then 5 minutes. The tall white guy in front of me was helping other customer in front of me. I don't mind to wait for a little bit longer. Then, this African-American guy came to me and ask me if I needed help. I said I'd like to get some prints for my resume and references. He took my flash-drive and print them. Then he went away. The white tall guy is done helping with the customer, then he took the prints and gave them to me. I gave him my credit card to pay. He said" No, don't worry. No need to pay". I said " are you sure?" I asked 3 times. Then he said "Yah, the african-american guy said so. He is the General Manager." So, I took my prints. I went look for the guy. I called him and asked his name. I shook his hand and said "Thank You". This very small deed really impacts me. Some of you may think "Ah, it's just prints. It only costs like less then a dollar" But for me, this act of kindness is very rare in city like LA. Very good customer service indeed. The next day, I got a job offer. I needed to a get a book rebound with a spiral binding and I am extremely happy with results and speed! Melissa was the young lady working in the copy center and she was extremely busy with lots of people asking questions. But she kindly answered every single one and took care of things one and a time. I thought for sure the rebinding of my book would take a few hours but she had it done in under 10 minutes! I still cant believe it. She took off the original binding of the book and redid it. Perfectly without damaging the book! I couldn't be happier! Little annoyed at the other employees. The phone was ringing off the hook and the other two men up front just stood there talking to each while she asked for help and they did nothing. read more

After having so much drama & quality issues at the copy & print center at another staples i came to glendora to get my order fixed. Although we still had a couple of quality hiccups the employe who helped me made everything right & definitely deserves a raise. I was pretty close to swearing off staples printing services forever due to the terrible customer service I've received but thanks to Kevin (i believe his name was) we will be making the drive to glendora for future projects. I ordered a chair from here that was supposed to be delivered next day... 3 days go by and no chair.. I called in to find out status... after being transferred to 4 different employees including the manager,they told me they are unable to locate the order with my name and that i needed the order number, i called in 10 minutes later and provided the order number and got transferred to 3 people again after being on hold for 15 minutes, last person tells me the chair will be delivered in a week. would i step a foot in here again? you know the answer. read more

I called the tech support at the store to ask a question about a laptop they sell. The guy who answered (supposedly a tech expert) had no idea or information on their laptops. He advise to google it, I was just thinking no shit! I tried that already didn't find the answer so I decided to call you. Anyways didn't bother buying the laptop at this store. Going to try a different store. Just a heads up if you have a question you're better off calling else where. read more

I run an office of about 5 people. We have constant expenses and are always at Staples. We use the "In-Store" pick-up service online to have all of our supplies ready so when i go and get them they are ready. 5 times later and everytime has taken more than 15 minutes to collect my order due to "we can't find it" or " the guy in the back is on his break so we have to wait for him." The people are less than responsive. One staff member while i had been waiting for 15 minutes looked at me and said "do you know what you want ?" I had told him as soon as i got there i am waiting for my order for online pick-up. "Oh that's right hold on...." Even after 15 minutes and this employee calling this guy in the back who's always on break i went and collected all of the items myself. Even at the register as i was walking out ( me now being there 25 minutes for items that were supposed to be ready when i got there ) the man was barely coming out with such items. Which after he even looked at the contents was INCOMPLETE. This is now the 5th time this has happened. Please be aware. read more

Horrible customer service I have ever experienced!!! Went in at 8:20am to get a project laminated for my sons class. I asked the girl (Andrea) if that was possible, and she replied that they were backed up with online "priority" orders that needed to be done by 9am, and if I wanted to leave the project, it would be done by 930am. I saw the machine right in front of me not being used or anyone working on any orders! I then asked again if there was any way I could get this done (since it only takes about 10 seconds or so to go through the laminating machine) because I was in a hurry and my child's assignment was due at 9am. I got no sympathy or any kind of apologies for the inconvenience only that I should visit another staples nearby if I wanted it done for me. I then proceeded to go to the checkout line and wanted to complain, but there was a line and no longer wanted to waste my time in that store. I did however find a local place nearby- PostNet in San Dimas, who were so awesome and quick to complete my order just in time! Will never return to that Staples in Glendora again!! read more

It's NOT easy!! I have used Staples several times for copies and was able to simply email a document to have it printed, and come pick it up later. They have instituted a new practice which is difficult and ridiculous. Staples has ALWAYS been overpriced with copies - especially for color but I never minded because they were convenient. Now they are over-priced, difficult to deal with and I would never shop here again. I can order anything they have online at any other store for a cheaper price, and I can get better service from the local printer than from their copy service. read more

Really great customer service! A few of the employees came from the Covina Store when it closed so they know me. This one is quite a bit farther away but still has the same great service. They treat the customer like they appreciate the fact that they are shopping there rather than somewhere else. And I love the rewards programs-shopping and ink recycling! Because I'm a Premier rewards customer I get $40.00 a month to spend when I recycle my empty ink cartridges--which ain't half bad! read more

Staples in Glendora...not even worthy of a single star!!! My children ages 16 and 12 went into the Glendora Staples yesterday (Sunday afternoon), and were asked to leave by an employee named Alicia. Melissa another employee would neither deny or confirm that Alicia was the manager and told me I should go to Staples.com for information. My kids went in to buy earphones for their Ipod and were asked to leave and come back with their parents. They claim that too many kids coming from the movie theatre mess the store up. Staples employees did not ask if they could help my children with something, they were just asked to leave. I don't understand why Staples employees would ask paying customers to leave the store. Can you imagine if GameStop asked children under the age of 18 to leave. Which by the way Gamestop is excellent in this regard. They treat my children like the consumers that they are. GameStop understands that children are an important consumer. Staples, specifically the GLENDORA STAPLES doesn't get it. They have no sign posted on their doors that say children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. What Staples did to my kids in sickening, I resent that they made them feel like criminals. This is the first time I have ever posted a review, but I felt compelled to do so, to make others aware. I don't think we should tolerate this. I could see them asking children to leave when they've been observed mistreating merchandise, but to ask them to leave when they haven't done anything, but look at earphones...come on! This is just my first step towards making people aware. BOOOOO GLENDORA STAPLES! I'm asking my employer to no longer purchase office supplies from Staples, and I will be outreaching to my network of professional friends, especially those with children to do the same. read more

I haven't gone into the store and I'm not sure that I would want to being that my over the phone experience with their customer service was not the best. The first time I called the guy that I spoke to talked so fast and sounded like he was in hurry to get off the phone, and of course later I discovered that he misinformed me, which caused me to miss a deadline. He told me that if i order something online i would receive it the next day, PERIOD! I was excited when the guy told me that but he did not even bother to state the most important fact to that convenient service, which was that you would receive your order the next day IF you ordered by 4pm! I went online to make my order but it stated that I would receive my order in 2 to 6 BUSINESS days. What the what?! I called to get some clarification. This time I spoke to a young lady, Vanessa. I explained what I was previously informed of and how online was not reflecting what the previous employee had told me. Vanessa clarified that its only next day if ordered by 4pm. I expressed my disappointment to the girl, and how the employees need to learn to explain correct information, not just blurt out half information. Her response sounded fitting and scripted of how an employee should respond to customer service but her tone said otherwise (shallow attitude/little concern regarding my complaint). This experience is enough for me to know that if I experienced poor customer service over the phone, it's more than likely no better in person. Let's just hope the online service is a little better. read more
