I've always had a good experience coming here. It's a clean and nice location with friendly staff. I mainly order online for work office supplies, but always come in person to do my ink cartridge recycling. The inside is nice and spacious and any staff that has helped me so far has been really nice and knowledgeable with the recycling programs. ***This review is for Amazon Returns Drop-Off only*** After spending a Saturday afternoon with my Mom at San Gabriel Valley area, it was time to head home. I had two Amazon return packages to drop off at Staples. Btw, there aren't very many Staples off of the 210 Fwy. Anyhoo, I happened to be driving on Foothill Blvd and kid you not, I caught Staples at the corner of my eyes. I said no way, but universe said way LOL. I wasn't even looking for it, but I knew I had to eventually look for it. Maybe I manifested it LOL. Thank you universe! I quickly made a right turn into the plaza and drove on over to Staples. I told my Mom that it would be quick. Well, it wasn't as quick as I would have liked. Internet service was extremely SLOW and I mean SLOW. Luckily, the internet finally came through for me to access my Amazon return emails. Otherwise, I may not have been able to complete the returns that evening. Upon entry, I find this Staples a tad smaller than most. But then again, it doesn't matter. I wasn't shopping... I just needed Amazon Returns. I found it on my right near the copy & print center. The staff member came on over, but I wasn't ready with my return emails due to slow internet. He went on to doing other stuff while he waited for me to get it all together LOL. I eventually got my emails opened. The gentleman came back over and started scanning my return items. After all was said and done, he gave me one receipt for both items. At other Staples locations, they would give me one receipt per item returned. Yes, I was kind of concerned because the receipt indicated total items returned as 1. However, the gentleman reassured me that the receipt was for both items returned. He was very firm about the procedures. He said one transaction for both! Cool! Juanita made my day! I was trying to get a drawing scanned and made smaller. This staples was the third store I had tried that day. At first there was a closed sign. Juanita saw that this mom really needed help. She took charge and got me what i needed. Juanita could have said to come back the next day but she didn't. Customer service is hard to find. Ren is an amazing asset to Staples! I had a poor experience and another branch (that's closer to my office) I came to Ren at La Verne a couple months ago and I was so pleased with how I was treated I only come to La Verne now. I've probably spent 3-5k in the last several months with Ren and the projects are always perfect. He goes above and beyond to make sure to not only hit my deadlines, but to help me out! Last project I screwed up and forgot to add contact info - I didn't realize until after 100 copies were made and laminated... Ren came in clutch and found a way to save the project and got me stickers created same day to fix the issue! Today I made one of my largest orders to date and he made it look easy! The store was so busy and customers were getting upset... Ren took care of me while simultaneously helping out an upset customer! Honestly I can't imagine a better experience. Thank Ren! I don't even know where to start because I never imagine myself leaving a review for Staples. No offense it's just not something that's usually on my radar because I'm going in and grabbing what I need and leaving most of the time. However today was much different. From the moment I got out of my car I was greeted by a young man Named Jordan. He started off by telling me I had a nice car which I appreciated but I'm not much of a car guy and trust me when I tell you the car drivers nothing too special. However, I could just tell that he was a nice kid and was super genuine and then he asked me if I was going into Staples and I said yes to which he replied. Well, let me help you find what you're looking for. He was clearly walking to his car or something, but didn't about face and walked in with me to help me find what I was looking for. He even walked me up to the register to make sure that I found the person that could ring me up. Jordan has the most wonderful personality and bright spirit and as a business operator, he is the type of team member that you look for and that you cherish, and I hope that your company cherishes Jordan. Ok so this is my local Staples and I needed something printed for my baby shower, sent my files to the Staples email address ahead of time (I remembered this is something you need to do) wasn't sure how long it would take to receive them. Came in a few hours later, Blake who was behind the counter saw me reading the instructions on what to do after it's sent, asked if he could help. Told him what I needed and he told me right away that he would help me. He printed out the image I needed on paper to make sure it was what I wanted but on card stock. He had to make a few tweaks but was so kind, helpful and quick. The employees here that I had delt with a few years ago were awful but if I need something printed again in a pinch I would definitely come back, huge thanks to Blake! read more

The women behind the counter today Wednesday, May 5, 2021 was unaccommodating , and had no interest in helping me to print my enlargement claiming it was too grainy. She just handed me back my zip and said bye bye. before she even had my zip, she was saying NO ? Huh, I asked if they did 1 day photo on an 8x10... and the best part, she stood behind her screen and wouldn't even show me the grainy photo. I was just shopping at this Staples location about an hour ago and I have to say I'm disappointed in the way a checkout clerk was treated by two other co-workers/managers. While checking out, the clerk was very friendly and you can tell they cared about their job. One co-worker/manger came by and got mad at the cashier clerk and scolded them for misplacing something. Then another co-worker/manager came by and gave the clerk attitude for not being able to find the barcode on something fast enough (even though it had only been a few seconds). This was all done in front of several customs in line as well as myself standing there paying. It was rude, unprofessional, uncomfortable and I felt terrible for the cashier. read more

This is mainly for Ren in the Printing area, he has exceptional customer service skills. He is always cheery and greets ppl when they come in to the store or printer department. He is never seems frazzled by the work load. Ren takes time out for the customer's needs and really goes the extra mile. Whenever I'm there I know my materials are going to be copied correctly and efficiently. The cashiers are also very helpful and nice. But if you had to improve one thing I would say please get more cashiers or call for back up. :) read more

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I've ever had over something so small and simple. I interacted with 3 different people regarding the same matter, and the entire vibe was as if I had asked them to help me move out of my 5 bedroom house on a 100 degree day using only a sedan. I literally just needed some stupid file printed on 10 sheets of paper. The guy at the print counter talked to me like I was an idiot, printed the files without confirming the texture of paper I might need or even telling me there are different texture options, and had the patience of someone who was supposed to be off of work yesterday. The paper he gave me was extremely smooth making me think anything I wrote on it would smear. So the guy I went to for help just smiled the entire time and kept saying "Oh, sorry" but didn't offer much else as far as a solution. The manager I had to request looked at me like she was asking ME for help, and then told me "If you use a pen on this, it will probably smear". Um, yeah exactly. The girl who the manger handed me off to was nice even though the guy who originally printed my stuff was standing over her saying he did print on 32lbs (The weight of the paper wasn't the issue, my dude! I said it 6 times). Worst customer service over some paper. Just get a decent printer and print the stuff yourself. read more

This place is great when it comes to gfetting help with almost anything. I have found that if you're honest with the others they'll go out of their way to help. I was helped by Anthony print out some color copies of my dog who had gone missing. I was on a tight budget and could only afford 20 of them. He rang me up and produced my order. When I walked out and got back home I took them out! To my surprise there were more than 20 prints. Naturally, I was confused and I counted them and he had actually given me 60 of them. I also found a note saying that " good luck finding your dog!" I went back to the store and he was still there and I thanked him so much. He said no thanks we're needed and he was happy to help. They have forever earned my business and my respect to wanting to help the community! read more

Came in last minute to make copies of flyers and they were already booked with processing orders for the night and I'd have to pick up my order in the morning. The problem was I needed them before the morning pick up time. I must have looked frustrated because Colin at the print counter came to the rescue and said he could help me at the "self -print " station. As he was showing me how to work the printer , about 5 other people came in for the same thing. Geez, what is with the negative reviews?? Most of them are just complaining about Staples as a corporation. It's not that bad. At the end of the day, their services are helpful and sometimes expensive yes, but the quality is always good. And yes sometimes it's a long wait because some of us have complicated orders, but the employees do their best to help... so maybe the whiners should just deal with it? Anyway! I only have positive things to say... I appreciate how this store goes out of their way every time. Not only to help me, but I see it with how they treat other customers too. The manager is usually seen checking on things, asking if people are being helped and the store is always kept clean and feels efficient. Huge shout out to Hilda at the Copy Center! She does her absolute best in making sure your needs are met and always tries to give you the best options and the best deal. She multi-tasks and doesn't mind helping people who are having tech trouble or might not be too familiar with the self-service machines. When I ordered a "same day" product (return address labels, nothing too difficult) from their website, it was not ready that same day. I ordered on a Friday Morning and it wasn't ready that day. I completely forgot about it that weekend. You would think they would have been ready when I called that Monday, but they were not printed yet. Apparently they are short staffed and swamped with orders since the Office Max across the street closed. The person on the phone said she would have it ready by the next day. Well I was busy and went into the store 2 days later and of course, my order was not printed. The guy at the Copy and Print was nice enough to print them which only took a few minutes. That's why I gave 2 stars instead of one. Don't bother ordering online. Walk in orders are the priority. This will be the last time I get anything printed at Staples. read more

Well well well, I come to this store often. Today, I came in to drop off a prepaid package through their UPS station. I set my big box on the counter and suddenly a couple came rushing in and the counter lady helped them first. No big deal I wasn't in a hurry, but then another fella that also came in after me handed the counter lady a document to copy and again she helps him first. What?
