Quit using this location years ago because of Staples copy pricing policy. However, I was in a hurry and needed to print a couple small documents. This location was closer than my normal copy/print store so I decided to try Staples again. Wrong decision. The store has three self-service machines. Two were occupied. Before I got too far, the remaining machine said to get assistance for a paper jam. I went to the counter where an employee was sitting at a computer. I stated the machine had a paper jam and needed attention. I was promptly told to wait until one of the other machines was free. Absolutely no apology nor any other verbal response. Therefore, I said thanks and promptly walked out, shaking my head as I walked past what may have been the manager. He smiled at me but no other reaction. Not sure he saw the transaction but he should have seen the dissatisfaction on my face, shaking my head and walking out. So, as a customer who needed assistance with their malfunctioning machine, MY TIME means nothing. I will never waste my time again with this Staples, or any for that matter. read more

Went to make a return. Didn't have husbands CC so was told they would put it on a Cash Card and I could return with receipts and they would move the amount of Cash Card over to his card. Returned today. Cashier was unable to perform task. The I proceeded to buy 2 Master Card gift cards and use the Cash Card as payment for graduation gifts. Then was told ops can't use the Staples card to purchase the Mast Card gift cards. Then got home and they forgot to give me my Staples Cash Card back. So.... I am ONLY rating this place 5 stars simply because of the 2 AMAZING ladies behind the print counter at this location. Their names are MARS & FELICIA. And they deserve a raise or a promotion or SOMETHING! I came in with a sort of difficult task that was last minute, to print 5x7in double sided comp cards to take with me to NYC for modeling agencies there. These were incredible important and it was severely important that they turned out professional! I explain this all to Mars and she didn't even blink and eye and started on showing me samples. The photos turned out super dark and she was able to do her thing and lighten the photos to make the match the photo on my digital screen as much as possible with what she was working with. Although slightly blurry, and not as crisp as the original, without her I wouldn't have been able to get them to as good as she got them. She did an amazing job with the tools she had and I so appreciate her. I came back to pick up the photos which they precut for me beautifully, and Felicia was so nice showing me everything and was so kind. Unfortunately about half of the photos had visible lines from the printer (the ink heads on the printer should be reset and cleaned every week, not the machines fault that's a upkeeping thing) I asked Felicia to talk to a manager because I didn't feel it was right paying for photos that had lines in them pretty much ruining the quality. Although she mentioned she thought it was just the machine and it's just something that happens, I knew it wasn't and the machine needed maintenance that's all. Anyways, she was kind enough to gift the whole set to me free of charge- which was SO GRACIOUS of her. It seemed like she was having a bad day... so to the manager at that store I hope you have more beautiful days on the way to you, and happy upcomings. The hours on here are incorrect. You would think that a big corporation would keep them updated since business owners order products from them and need to have reliable hours for pick up. All the worker had to do was hand me what I already paid for. But he refused to do so. And the employees were all still there walking around. They had a chance to go above and beyond and yet refused. This Staples is at 7865 West Bell Road, Peoria, AZ 85382. I have never had a bad experience with this location. Every person who works there in all the years I have been their customer, has treated me wonderfully. Lately, I had an issue with my 9-year-old laptop and the Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse product I had purchased. It would not work. Brought in the laptop and the product so they could see I was not crazy. I wasn't, but the laptop had issues as 2 of its 3 USB ports were no longer working. Abri, the tech, figured out a work-around for me and advised to consider (soon) a new laptop. As such, I am currently researching and will be back in a couple of days to browse their new stock that just arrived and she gets the new displays all set up. Timing is everything. I should have listened to my wife and bought a new laptop right after Christmas. read more

Once I arrived, ON TIME, the store manager told me the person responsible for the TSA check took a late lunch and wasn't going to be back until an hour after my scheduled meeting. I had never been in that peculiar Staples before and didn't know what to expect with so much bad service these days. I had a return for Amazon (they had sent me someone else's order). When I walked in there were people standing around and I figured they were customers. I was looking for an employee to find out how I return the item. Another customer pointed me in the right direction. Two different employees helped me, one to ask what I needed and the second one took the return. They were both helpful and pleasant. Super annoying staff, simply will not leave you alone. No lie, I had THREE different staffers in the span of five minutes who approached us while checking out the printer aisle. After telling the first we were just looking, another muppet showed up not a minute later! When I told her that "we're just looking, thanks" she persisted and wanted to have a conversation about what we were looking for. I told her "we're good" and that I'd just told the last person the same thing within the last minute and she finally took a hint to leave us alone. A few minutes later, a third drone approached and asked if we needed anything. I said "no" rather sternly. I'd had enough at that point and we left empty-handed. The 2 stars are not for anything other than the treatment we received by this locations apparent manager, Jackie. My mom went to buy some specific erasers that I had seen there earlier for my daughter, well she couldn't locate them.. enter Jackie. Jackie insisted that the store did not carry those erasers and that she must be mistaken & that she must be thinking of Office Max. So my mom proceeds to call me.. I tell her I didn't know the aisle number or anything but that they were definitely there.. so, on the phone with me, my mom tells Jackie that I just saw them there.. now I can hear Jackie myself and in a very rude tone she's telling my mom that she is wrong, they do not have them, I must have been at office max... so me on the phone says to my mom "you're at staples by the 5 below right?" "Yes, they are there, I just saw them".. Jackie continues to tell us both we are wrong and I tell my mom to just drop it and forget it. While still on the phone, maybe 3 min later, Jackie walks up to my mom, tosses the erasure at her and says "here, bc you were so NICE (sarcasticly) to me I went and got them!" "Wow, she went to and back from Office Max in record time!" I marveled. No mention of her being mistaken after pretty much telling my mom I'm dumb and must not know where I shop, multiple times... apparently Jackie doesn't know where she works, maybe she thought she was at Office Max! Well, well, well...I'm what you would consider a "local" shopper. However, I had to have some business cards made ASAP. I had a design that I designed on a 3rd party app (Canva), but couldn't get it to load correctly. After about 30 mins of deliberation, I succumbed to having a pro deal with it. Staples said one day biz cards, so it had to be. I went there about 10am and the printing employee helped me figure it all out. She was patient, and more importantly, pleasant. I submitted my project and I received a call around 5pm, saying they were ready. I was ecstatic. It was done...correctly and expediently. Cased closed. Btw. The mgr, who was stocking shelves said hello when I entered the store. Good job! read more

The young lady in printing had closed her register about to head home- stopped and waited on me with a smile, printed a small job right away, helped me also print. Ashley made me want to invest in buying something here. I came to the wrong 'brand' store, turns out I was looking for another big box store of the same category. Ashley pointed me in the right direction and even took the time to show me comparable products to the ones I was asking for. Ashley's customer service was so on point that I decided to buy some of my items from Staples instead of leaving and getting everything from 'that other place'. The store was well organized, clean, and quiet. Store staff were welcoming and polite. I really enjoyed my purchase besides the energy in the place was awesome. I would definitely recommend. Easy ship UPS today to return a Century Link modem. Fast and Easy for UPS. I have shopped at Staples for over 20 years as a teacher. I always enjoy their special teacher days and give aways although it is not like it used to be. Lol. I used Staples a lot when I was working on my National Boards and post Masters work. That was back before everyone had printers and laptops in their easy possession. They have been around for a long time. Well, so have I apparently. teehee! Insert, "walking 20 miles to school in the snow" type of joke here. Staples is great for product.They have what you need for Office Supplies. The service is always helpful. The issue being is that Staples is just way too expensive when you are living on a teacher budget. However, the UPS desk is a great service if you use UPS regularly. With over half a days notice, Staples who had charged me a premium to print out a colour print job by 7pm. Failed to deliver on this contract and was really no help. I arrived at 715pm to be met by a frustrated Oliver and his many excuses and reasons why he could not meet this promised/charged for delivery timetable. As soon as he realized I wasn't happy, he kept his distance from me hiding behind the computer screens and desks, just kept showing me all the orders ahead of me that the website pushes through. Even though we had 2 hours to closing Oliver told me I wouldn't get the print job don't before close. I had no notifications or apologies letting me know they couldn't get to my workload. Which to me speaks volumes when trusting someone to your business needs. No help with refunding just told me to call the website and speak to them. He did cancel the order very quickly. Do not trust your business needs to the promised documented and charged for agreements that are offered online. Especially when the store throws their hands up and refers you to look to get help online. Let me down big time. It's worth adding that within the 22 minutes that followed this experience. I had headed over the road to the competition, where I as my color, 179 page bound book printed while we had a great discussion surrounding this experience and while I drafted up this review read more

Unbelievably awful experience- rude staff, incompetent at working their own computer system and machinery, no customer service skills even by the manager, update-- didn't even end up with a useable product! Had to throw it all away!! I took in a completed example of the print job I'd had done at FedEx, should have gone back there, a 5x7 save the date for our wedding, full color, full bleed. Came to pick them up and.... 1. They couldn't find my order! Didn't listen to me when I provided all details of my order -- my name, who helped me, a description of the item. I had to repeat myself 3 times because she simply wasn't paying attention. 2. When the owas finally tracked down they were not cut/trimmed (again, I provided a specific example of EXACTLY what I wanted). They then wanted to charge me almost $30 to cut and trim them to the size that I had ordered. I chose to not pay MORE for them to be cut than I paid for the actual printing. The woman working had no customer service abilities to work with the situation. Snapped at me how she had to do it by hand when I questioned it costing $30 to insert them into a cutting machine. Worse skills were had by the manger who basically said "yeah that's too bad, that's what it costs" completely missing the point that I HAD ORDERED CORRECTLY. Had I been quoted for the true cost I would have taken my business else where-- I will next time. It wasn't even the incorrectness of our order that upset me, mistakes happen, but it is not the customer's fault when a mistake is made by the staff. This Staples location was given the opportunity to make it right and chose not to. Now, excuse me while I return to my scissors to complete my own print job. Update!! Got these home and began cutting them when I realized it was printed totally off center!! Horrible, LITERALLY GARBAGE!! read more
