Yeah I realize businesses are "short staffed" because of Covid, but what I experienced in the last 2 days is ridiculous. 1st time coming in, usually lots of nice smiles and customer service. Not this time. A new young gal with the typical "you owe me" attitude. I was tryimg to sign a document and NOT ONE pen was in sight. I asked for a pen, at Staples, no less, and she was put out to go search for them, stating people steal them all the time. Amongst her other 3 staff members all in a huddle not moving an inch. So you were not short staffed. She became Lippy with me and talking back to the customer when I called them out on their laziness. Your manager did nothing and asked me of there was a problem. Lol..nice gas lighting techniques you're teaching. Come in today. Super quiet and not busy. Woman approaches desk to get assistance to print she's new at it. She gets the same young snit who tells her to wait in line for an available self serve copier. I offer to help the lady with her print job . While lazy girl with her tude, stays behind her desk continuing with her mindless office task. Completely unacceptable! You've lost a couple really top notch people lately. Service is everything when shopping for office supplies... Unfortunately they wouldn't understand service here is it slapped them in the face. In a ever increasing era of internet shopping and delivery to businesses, on the occasion when you need a few items quickly you would think an empty location would have workers jumping to help their clients. NOT HERE. Walked by several employees who were more interested in their cell phones and conversations then customers. Luckily I'm capable of finding what I need without their help. But going to the register was a whole different negative experience. No greeting, a guy who looked like he had to come out of retirement to take a PT minimum wage job ringing me up who looked borderline depressed to be alive, took the better part of 5 minutes to ring up 4 items. Finally ready to leave, he bagged the items but neglected to even hand me my bag. I gave him a good stare, he stared back and finally I had to inform him to hand my my purchases. Seriously? Your only job is to ring, bag, and hand me my items.. maybe you should've stayed retired, much like I hope Staples will do with their entire staff here... read more

I bought a deal on Groupon. It was for Christmas cards. I did not know you could do it on line through Staples. Danielle gave me step by step how to go on line and do my cards. It was so much help. The next day Donna helped me to get my cards and notice one of pictures had enter tex here. She asked Chance and they corrected and reprinted my cards by the next day with no added charge. I was dreading getting a replacement cartridge for my printer at $40 a pop. I decided to suck it up and get the combo pack for $50. When I arrived at the register, Cristina the store manager told me about a coupon I was eligible for that had just come out! Saving me money is a quick and easy way to win me over! Terrible. It seems every time I come to this location I have a negative experience. The first time I came I purchased a computer office desk and an office chair. My items had to be order because I wanted a color that was not in store. When I arrived to pick up my packagees one of the store associate who helped me was running around like a chicken with its head cut off because he could not locate my package. I was beginning to think that someone else had picked it up. They just leave them up front where anybody could walk by and grab the package. The associated was finally able to locate my package after 30 minutes of looking all over the store. Today when I went in I needed to print off just a few pages from my flashdrive. The guy in the print center is nearly useless and his tone is rude. He tried to open the files from my flashdrive and we quickly realized that we would not be able to open the files because my drive is password protected. Instead of ejecting the thumb drive like I had instructed him urgently 3 times, he just ripped it out of the computer and says "there's no eject button". I educated him that there is not a button it's a function, you right click and eject flashdrives so that you don't corrupt or damage the files. Clearly staples needs to properly train their employees. This guy doesn't have basic computer knowledge. I'm hoping when I get home all of my files are not ruined. I will not be back to this location! read more

Rich in the print center is a lifesaver! We came in at the 11th hour to get an important proposal printed. Rich was patient and helpful and let us know that an immediate printing would not be possible due to the time of day, but that he would come in early and make sure that our 7 packets would be printed on the correct paper and collated by our deadline. It was very refreshing that he cared enough to make sure that we were satisfied customers instead of simply sending our business elsewhere. I've been to this Staples a few times and basically the service is not good. Some of the cashier's are overly chatty which leads them to make mistakes, which I don't have the time or the patience to appreciate. Today, I was making a simple return, basically returning an entire order and then repurchasing 1 of the items (so that it would be on a separate receipt). The cashier, ALEX, didn't return all my items, but did charge me again for the one I wanted to repurchase. I didn't notice right away, but 90 seconds later I came back into the store and told him that he forgot to return one of the items and he said, " no I didn't." Without even looking at the receipt or asking me which one. When I pointed out his mistake, he still didn't believe me. He couldn't tell the difference between file folders and a drawer organizer (perhaps time to switch careers). Then he said, "you must have used a coupon or something, because that item is not on this receipt..." When I responded with yes it's right here, he started on a tirade of don't get snippy with me, because I can get snippy right back and I've had enough of it today. His response was completely out of the blue and completely unwarranted. It seemed like he was having a psychotic break from reality. So, rather than go around and around with him, I decided to ask for a manager. KRISTINA (who was very nice), found his mistake right away, rectified it right away and then had to explain to him the difference between file folders and a drawer organizer. Again, time to find a new job, ALEX!!! As a busy professional, the last thing in the world I need or want to deal with is some punk 17 year old, who needs to have an attitude adjustment and learn how to do his job. Let me keep this short and simple, I have a buisness account there and I get treated poorly. Just crappy customer service. Its seriously pathetic. They have TONS of people walking around the store, but nobody can help and if you are in a rush, dont stop by there. Its the worst customer service. I guess I seemed lost, the guy that was delivering ink helped me and was the nicest person in there I met... Sad... I am in there TOO much for that, guess we need to switch accounts. Horrible experience today. First, they weren't open when I got there at a few minutes before 9. Surprising since this a very busy office area. When I checked out a guy named Mike waited on me. I commented about the opening time, knowing feedback is good and maybe they would want to know they have customers who would appreciate earlier hours. I got a smart @$$ answer "We open at the same time every day." I finished my transaction and was handed my reciept. Two papers printed I was only given one. Was the second a coupon? A rebate form? I went to pick up some business cards that were already printed and had been paid for. Attendant did not acknowledge my existence for over 5 minutes, so I hunted down and asked another employee WTF. They said it wasn't their department and the other person would be with me "soon". It was several more minutes before the attendant came by and asked what we needed which was to pick up my cards which took approximately 15 seconds. read more

Yes they are, so I searched on my maps and found an office max a mile down the road that's open until 8, found my new go-to office supply store, that's at least open with more reasonable hours! I order regularly, online, as I find it is more convenient, and I can typically take advantage of various promotions they are running. So, I use "ship to store." The staff here has always been helpful, and their hours are usually pretty convenient. Although shortened now :( It is far better to keep this store open than close it due to budget cuts, etc.. This is my go to store for the majority of my office supplies,etc... I have been coming here for years and will drive the extra time and distance to shop here. read more

Megan the print and marketing supervisor provided poor customer service. We waited for over 10 minutes for nothing and when we asked for for more help we were brushed off with "I don't know why it's not working." No attempt to problem solve for a simple print/scan job that we do at other staples locations all the time. I asked for a manager and she is the manager; got "well, I'm sorry". No offers to address the issue and just said "it worked for her (referring to a different customer that she actually helped and spent time with after we walked in and she just told us to do it on our own). Now we are on our way to OfficeMax- we regularly do this simple task at other staples locations with no problems- just happened to be in this neighborhood. Who is the miserable old man who runs the copy center? I seriously stood at the counter for 5 mins with no acknowledgment from him, I tried to help myself to no avail. I've been coming here for several years and always have had good service from other employees. I am not a computer techy person and come here to make copy's. Sorry were not all failed IT techs. I wanted to enlarge and print a picture on canvas as a birthday present for my friend. So a paid an extra $20 for rush delivery so I would get it guarantee in 3 to 4 days. I called the store and told them that I have not received anything and it is pass 4 days . I got a call from Cindy the manager I'm presuming telling me she doesn't want to deal with that anymore but she's more than happy to give me the phone number so I could follow up myself.. I went to staples to buy some printer paper. At the time, the store was practically empty. I went up to the front register and set my things down. The girl behind the register was texting but quickly put it away when she saw me. She then started checking out my paper. I said hello since she didn't look interested at all. She looked like she didn't want to be there and when she talked, you couldn't hear her. (I am a part time sales associate and always try to be friendly and polite at my job) I asked her a question about my online coupon and she said (idk it's like a rebate to receive money back. I decided not to use it and proceeded to pay. She then bagged my paper and set it aside and just looked at me. I asked if I was all done and she said yeah then turn and started talking to the guy next to her. I then grabbed my bag and said thanks for your help. It was a very difficult process. I would have been better off checking out my own stuff. read more

Ashley in the print shop was incredibly helpful. There was a problem with the paper cutter that we only discovered after she had started to cut them and they got cut incorrectly. She apologized and kept a positive, helpful attitude. She gave us a voucher for the next staples we went to so that we could get our booklets reprinted free of charge. Ashley is awesome. read more

Horrible. I'd go to Office Max. The printing department had horrible customer service and never did make my mailing labels, or printed my flyers. Even the check out person was rude on my other two visits there. Ask for help finding something, they can't hide they annoyance at having to help you. Even the guy in front of me in the check out line commented on the service. Management there is obviously lacking in how to manage this store. read more

I recently purchased an ALL NEW desktop PC system (tower, monitor, wireless key board & mouse and printer) from this staples location! The easy tech Scott Simer was AMAZING!!! He stood an explained each and every tower and it's available features WITHOUT pushing any particular brand or attempt at trying to make a sale with me! He made recommendations based on what I was said looking for and what I needed in my desktop PC but never urged me toward a particular brand. As I headed with him to the checkout counter, I expressed my concern of setting my new computer myself. He told me about the service they offer where it could all be done there at the store and I could return to pick it up and bring it home and put it in myself. I asked if he would be able to come to my home and set it all up for me so that I wouldn't mess anything up and I'd have total confidence that it would all be done CORRECTLY by a PROFESSIONAL! He said that they DO offer onsite visits and he would be HAPPY to come and do that for me! Even though there IS a CHARGE for that service, I was GLAD to pay it and have him come and set it all up the RIGHT WAY in my home FOR ME!!! I am EXTREMELY satisfied with this Staples location!!! I recommend that if you need ANYTHING regarding your computer/laptop, go and ASK FOR Scott Simer the easy tech! He is AWESOME!!!!!!! read more
