This is a very basic nail salon. It's a little hole in the wall and a little older, but it's not charging outrageous fees for a gel pedicure. My technician was Cathy. She didn't have much to say, unless it was to the other 2 techs, but she provided a quick and efficient gel pedicure. $35 with removal of old gel. No bells and whistles, only a 2 minute foot massage, but economy wise. read more

Very clean place and nice atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and are able to do amazing art work. It's hard to find places that can do beautiful art on your nails. The price you pay is backed by quality. They took my sister and I without an appointment. I recommend this place 100 percent it is a great place to get you nails and feet done. Vivian, did gel tips; she used plastic nails to give my nails length, then used gel on top. she was nice and professional, made sure my nails were even. Although, I made an appt I felt a bit rushed. Because she had another appt over lapping with my appt. so her sister finished polishing my nails. I randomly decided to go to this spot YESTERDAY & I was disappointed. I rarely ever get gel, but I got it because I wanted it to last for a while. A day has passed and I see the polish chipping off and realized that it wasn't even fully painted on my nails. On top of that, I have 2 cuts on my big toes ( on the edges by nail) that were irritated and bothering me all night. I've been to many places to get a pedicure and not once have I had this problem. They weren't even busy where they had to rush, it was literally just me. I should give 1 star, but I don't wanna be too harsh. read more

It's been over two weeks since I've done my nails. My sisters nails did chip in certain places and ultimately she took the gel off in two weeks. My nails did stay intact for the most part. I work full time and my job can require some hands on lifting. So my nails are always at risk of chipping or breaking. I'd say they last as long as some other nail salons that I've been to with this price range. Again, maybe I just went on a bad day but since the nails last just about as long as other places I would most likely go elsewhere. For the prices we pay for nail services I would like to feel more relaxed and welcome which is why the service is important for me when it comes to getting my nails done. read more

I called on a Friday afternoon and was told they can take me right away. I love that about a place, especially on a last minute Friday squeeze-in. I was the only customer there so I did get all the attention. The service and price were great and I loved that they weren't obviously talking about you to each other. A Standard mani-pedi cost $28 plus they charged me an extra $1 because I used my debit card, which I didn't realize but was ok with. I docked a star because I'm not sure about the quality of their polishes, I picked an OPI that wouldn't dry for the life of me!! Over 1.5 hours later at home I put my closed toe shoes on to go out and was surprised and disappointed that the polish scraped off 4 of my toes!! Shouldn't it have been dry? I also noticed that the polish on two of my finger nails peeled back and scraped off. It might have been a fluke or bad polish, if I give them another chance, I might just bring my own polish next time. read more

Nail technicians were rude and impatient when I wanted to see two different colors. My gel manicure felt rushed and the color was not evenly applied. The tech didn't even change her gloves after switching from another client to me. Overall just a bad experience. Won't be returning. read more

I live in OC so I had no idea where to go for my fill when I visited my friend in the area. This was the only place that took me in for a last minute appointment Saturday morning and I was pleasantly surprised. I have to admit, I changed my mind on the design 3 times and they were very patient with me. When I apologized for my indecisiveness, she told me not to worry, "whatever you want" she said. It was the first time for me to come to this nail salon; the location itself is in a pretty dodgy neighborhood, but close to where I'm staying at so I thought I'd give it a try. Think again! It's so dirty here, I was about to walk right out as soon as I walked in, but the manager saw me and welcomed me in so I just had to be nice... - THE STAFF I came in for an up-keeping of my gel nails since I was growing them out. I prefer having oval shaped nails and I told the lady I wanted to keep the length and she just chopped them off without even asking what shape I wanted! There goes 3 weeks of growing :(. The lady that was doing my toenails kept talking to herself which I don't mind, but then the News was on T.V. and they were talking about some Paris bombings, and the lady just kept laughing, hysterically too. It was a but unsettling, even the owner that was doing my fingernails kept giving her the stink eye in hopes she would stop. I asked the manager if she took credit card, and she gave me the dirtiest look I've ever seen and said, "yes, it will be an extra $1.00, but do you have cash for tip?" I responded with a sincere yes and asked if I could get a receipt but she said it would be another $1.00 on top of the other $1.00 to use a card. - THE FINISHED PRODUCT I chose a ruby color for both my manicure and pedicure to match my birth stoned jewelry. Both of the ladies really outdid themselves when they took care of my cuticles but fell short when shaping my nails which made them very uneven. Overall, the look was pretty basic from afar; although, I still wish the lady that did my fingernails had asked me first what shape I wanted instead of chopping off 3 weeks worth of nail growth I'm content with my nails. P.S. they charge $1.00 extra if you use a credit card, and have a bad attitude if you don't tip with cash. read more

$13 for a pedicure?!?!? I'm in!! This nail shop not only has parking spots in front but in the back of the building as well. The shop itself is the best ventilated nail shop I've been in ever. I've never had my nails done by a guy before and he did a GREAT job. Here are some of the reasons why: - took his time prepping the nails. - Did a good job keeping the cuticles intact but trimmed. - Took the extra step of adding an extra layer so that the red nail polish doesn't stain the nail. - The nail polish is still on after more than a month! read more

PRICE: I went in for a full set, coffin shape and they usually charge $25 BUT if you use a credit/debit card, they charge you an extra dollar. so overall i paid $29 ($26+$3 tip) CUSTOMER SERVICE: I called ahead of time to make sure it wouldn't be busy & I had asked for a 2 o'clock appointment but whoever i talked to insisted I go in at that moment and when I said that I could only go at 2, she said "okay, so full set 1:30" like.... no I asked for 2pm. upon entering, we (my friend and i) were quickly seated but not attended too. there was one lady doing full sets (amy) and I guess because it was busy she wanted to work on both my friend and I at the same time.... as she started filing my acrylics, i had a lot of pain on my left pinky finger and I asked out loud if she could be careful because it hurt, but she changed nothing. just kept filing away... OVERALL NAILS: I don't hate the nails but i've had waaaay better for the same price. and the painting was not clean at all. read more

Never have I ever felt the need for review a nail salon that I discovered on a whim and had already had zero expectations before. But this place left me in such a bad mood I had to leave a rant. *insert eye roll* First I was told to hurry while choosing my gel color, within 5 minutes of sitting down, because we would "be there all day" lol really? Then, already having shorter nails, I asked to keep them as long as possible and not cut my cuticles. I bartend and had a gig that night as well so I didn't want to have my fingertips on fire from being all cut up. Well yeaaaa that's basically what happened and squeezing limes all night was naaaaaht fun Long story short, I felt super uncomfortable in this place and felt like I wasn't being heard as for what I was asking for. Didn't help that it was also a pretty dirty and scattered place. My girl Nikki money knows exactly what looks good on your hands! My sister's wedding is tomorrow, so have you my nails done was one of many appointments I had booked. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted and she replicated that perfectly. It was only $10 extra to add the rhinestones on my nails! So i was in porter ranch on Friday desperately looking for a nail salon to get my nails done. I have this place a try because they weren't too far off. I regretted it. I went in wanting to get a pedicure and get a full set +gel manicure. Let me begin with the pedicure.... firstly the water ran hot. The girl doing my toes was very rough. She barely used the scrapper for the bottom of my heal, and she was so rough with the buffer she hurt my toes. I don't know how she managed that. And on top of it all, one of the other girls came up to me to check if my toes were dried and she touched it with her finger. HER FINGERPRINT WAA LEFT ON MT BIG TOE!!!! I called her out on it and instead of nail polish, she pushed the polish around with her freaking FINGER to fix it !!! And top Coated it!! So guess who has finger prints on her toes? Then we have the girl doing my hands while getting my pedi. Normally I'm against that. (Id rather do my full set seated at the station). Point is she did my pointer finger on my left hand crooked. I told her when she had glued on the nail and she said she would fix it along the way. I wanted my nails really short (to make them look natural). And she was able to do that very well. But my pointer remained crooked and the polish was awful. I changed my mind from gel polish to regular because of the poor job that was done. I asked how long reg polish lasts and she said 2 weeks, well buddy, 2 days after and my polish is chipped and already fading ! Not even a week after. And I paid 43$ . I left no tip, and as soon as I could, I left. Will never ever be going back ! And on top of it all, parking sucks here read more

Took my daughter for a mani-pedi here last Friday. The salon was very clean and the service was quick and efficient. They did an excellent job on our nails and their posted rates were very reasonable. Only drawback was that they charged me $5 extra because I wanted my fingernails buffed instead of polished. I have never been charged extra for this service anywhere else and to charge extra for less work and no nail polish seems to defy logic. I will most likely go back due to all the other positive attributes of this salon, but I will never have them buff my nails again - too expensive for something I can easily do at home. read more

I just walked in here 30 minutes before closing. Lani was really nice and had me dotted right away. Ended up being the best pedi mani I ever had. The lady who did my pedicure was name My she spent one hour on my pedicure. Best cuticle cleaning I ever got on my pedicure. Lani did my nails and she also cleaned my cuticles very well. I really loved this place. They don't rush at all like these big nail salons. Definitely my new nail spot. read more

Great shop, its quiet, doesn't smell full of chemicals, and its clean - the sterilzer machine is right thre where you can see it!! I always prefer a pink tone for my gel manicure, and she matched the color exactly the way I wanted. I also asked how long it would take before starting, and they said 30 minutes -- and they finished right on time, which was good. The price was reasonable, the service was efficient, and the staff was friendly. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I was very satisfied with my gel manicure.

However, the technician was extremely rough with my nails, and the salon itself felt very lackluster. Instead of using foils or a fresh soak to remove my HARD builder gel nails, she had me place my hands in a bowl of acetone that looked like it had been used by multiple customers--it was cloudy with dust and other particles floating in it. Not only did that feel very unsanitary and plain gross, but it made my hands and nails feel so weak and brittle. I felt so uncomfortable between just soaking my hands in the dirty acetone and filing (she did this routine 3-4 times for both hands), but even after all that my nails weren't fully clean. After I got home I realized there was still gel on my nail beds. If this was just my experience with removal, I don't even want to experience what getting an entire new set would feel like.

He wasn't shy about pointing out how much work it was. On my third visit (today), however, the experience changed. He refused to see me, saying that I was too sensitive during gel removal. I've never had issues with gel removal before, but with him, I did flinch on one or two fingers because he seemed to go a bit too far. That said, it's not something that would have stopped me from coming back. I even had to ask--almost beg--him to remove my gel nails using acetone. He said it would take too long, but I told him I wasn't in a rush. When I asked again, I noticed the salon was nearly empty, with only one other customer who was already being helped. I'm not sure if this behavior was due to rudeness or possibly a language barrier, but after today's visit, I felt very unwelcome and unwanted. I did communicate this to them, because if this level of customer service continues, they may lose more customers. From what I understand, they've been in business for a long time, but each time I visit, the salon is mostly empty--except for who I assume is their son, who always seems to have a steady stream of clients. I really appreciate the convenience of the location--it's just two minutes from my home. I also genuinely like the quality of Jimmy's work, and the pricing seems fair for both the customer and the business. However, they need to improve their customer service, friendliness, and overall approachability.

Upon entering I was greeted graciously and asked to choose a color and I chose a pretty hot-pink color since it's February. Once I chose they seated me at the pedicure chair that had some nice massage action on my tense muscles. I counted 4 or 5 Manicure stations and 2 pedicure stations. Everything looks clean and fresh and there is no chemical smell. My pedicurist did an excellent job with my feet, the only thing I wished was maybe a firmer massage on my feet, she was barely touching my feet and being too gentle. The price was very affordable compared to other salons. I will definitely be returning!
