Good afternoon, I am a consumer but first and foremost I am in the business of customer service. My first experience was more than I expected in that the staff provided an awesome experience. It didn't hurt me to spend almost 100 when I would normally spend half. Usually the services were ok and Star was above average but the customer service again was excellent....that day. Today, not so much. I walked in close to 1:30 pm asking for a fill, eyebrow wax and pedicure, young lady with the bangs said they were booked but would work me in... about 15 mins later I was put on a chair for the pedicure, 30 mins later someone worked on me. And 3 hours later nothing. Three young ladies roaming around, another woman that I thought was the boss roaming until she did a pedicure. In that time, someone could have brought me slippers so that I could go to the restroom. Could have given me an ETA... but nothing. It is almost 5 pm.... no nail shop is worth hours of my time and my son being in day care. .. I never pamper myself and I had high hopes for this establishment that is above what I normally pay but I thought would be worth it. Obviously was wrong. The coworkers that I referred will be hearing about my experience. Office of 23 ladies that heard about my first experience and yelp will hear about today! I would have probably not been so upset had it not been for the young lady with the bangs trying to make it seem like I was out of place for asking for assistance. ..3 times she told me to wait a minute... unacceptable. I will continue my search. It was a drive to get to this location but it is not worth the sacrifice. Money and time would be better spent at my local place at least they treat me better, even if I have to see them more often. read more

I have been very picky about letting someone do my nails, it's not something I have had done often and I have been such a picker when it comes to sharing utensils with my worry of shared bacteria. (Which was actually brought to my attention after going to Jess Ranch Salon and being super grossed out by dead skin, that wasn't mine) My best friend brought me here and I walked out so happy! My experience was great! Elizabeth took care of me and she was so sweet, understanding and considerate of my needs and wants. She walked me through everything, giving me my own supplies to take home so I wouldn't worry about using others when I get my nails done. She was such a treat to talk to as well, I felt she held my hand and taught me to ride my first bike lol. Great experience, I highly recommend! read more

I will never go anywhere else. This place is SUPER clean. They use disposable liners for the pedicures. Everyone gets their own nail file, nail buffer, and even nail bits which is an awesome idea so you know you aren't getting someone else's germs. So many gel colors to choose from and even matching regular nail polish for your toes. Everyone is super nice and their work is just amazing. I recommend that everyone in the high desert come here. The overall ambience of the shop is very relaxing. By the way I've had my eye brows waxed here and will not let anyone else touch my eyebrows. Star Nails is the best nail salon in the high deserts. My friend and I were there today for the first time and we got our nails done by Lynn and Nini. They are so good, they don't rush and it looks amazing. I know who to ask for from now on. They give you your own personal box which includes nail file, buffer, drill bits, and foot scrubber. I saw a lady getting her toes done and they use a spa liner, YOUR FEET DOESN'T TOUCH THE SPA!!! AWESOME...the jets in the spa chair are removable so they are always clean in sanitizer. They even offer complimentary water and snack while your waiting or getting your nails done. read more

I have lived in Hesperia for five years, my fingers live in acrylic. I have been to so called high end salons here in the HD. But none compare to the quality and care of Star Nails!! I have been going to Star Nails since my youngest daughter was in my belly, now she is one. The ladies always accommodate us by scheduling me in the mornings and low traffic times, so that there is low to no chemicals when she is there. Kathy does a fantastic job, and all of the ladies are awesome. It is like a second home for us. A place to escape and have a relaxing good time. read more

Went in today for my first time and my first impression walking in is that the place is modern, it is also very clean. V-Q did my nails just like I told him to, and since it was my first time getting coffin shaped nails I was a bit worried but he worked some magic!!! They came out just as I expected !!! I paid $31, $30 for the nails since they are coffin shaped and long. And $1 for the bag with buffer and nail filer that is required which is a great idea they have , so every time you go in you take that with you . I will becoming back :) read more

I went in for a mani/pedi the other day and had Kristy take care of me and I couldnt be more pleased!!! I was extremely pleased with how she took her time and pampered me. I hate going into a spa and being rushed, here i get the whole experience! i enjoyed the fact that she held a personable conversation with me the whole time and she did such beautiful work on my hands!!! 10/10 I'll definitely be returning again!!!! Wow! Star Nails is a very sanitary salon. The best I've ever went to. I was not disappointed at all. This is definitely my go to salon! Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly... little touches like snacks and water just makes this salon all the better. I have been to many nail salons up here in the high desert and star nails is by far the best! Very clean and very organized. You use your own nail box and every time I have gone they sanitize the water and open new sanitized tools to work on my feet. Everyone I have had is very sweet! Nini is my favorite! And Laura is so sweet and such a hard worker. I have decided to not try anywhere else cuz this place is the best!! read more

This place its great, they have a lot of designs to choose from when it comes to manicures and pedicures and a lot variety of colors and one of the most important things they are very clean and hi hygiene which is crucial. I just got my nails done with them yesterday and I am very happy with their work. I had to wait around 15 minutes before they could assist me, but I think it was worth the wait. read more

The most important aspect of a nail salon is hygiene, and this salon is one of, if not the MOST sanitary salons I've been too! It's clean and has a friendly atmosphere, which is GREAT because I've had to deal with businesses that had dirty tool or rude employees. Bottom line is: I go here everytime to get my nails done, and I strongly recommend that you do too! read more

I really like this place a lot very clean, I especially hope taking a liking to Christina. I see so many people come and go from this place but none of them made me feel as special as she does whenever I go there to relax and do my nails. She always seems to make me feel very comfortable and very relax. I only wish she was more available. Great job love it! read more
