Came here for happy hour. Food and pricing were on par with the area, nothing to write home about (expect to spend about $40/person for a meal and a drink). Note that this place is small and all of the tables are high tops. This place wouldn't be good for big groups of 6 or more. The $1 oysters on happy hour were a good deal, as were the $5 well drinks. The HH tacos and peel shrimp were good but the popcorn shrimp isn't worth getting due to it's tiny portion. We got a few HH appetizers but it wasn't enough food to count as dinner so we ended up ordering entrees as well. Their fries are good, big and fluffy, but needed more seasoning. read more

We dined here on our day trip to Dewey Beach. I really enjoyed it. The service was good, and the food was delicious. I had the lobster and crab mac and cheese and my hubs had deviled eggs with crab in them as well as chipotle wings (they had just the right crisp). He had the boil plate too, which had potatoes, shrimp, crab legs and oysters. It looked like he enjoyed that, though he said he needed the wings after to fill him. For dessert, he ate (and I nibbled on) their cheesecake. That had a berry flavor with chocolate, that was also good. The biggest hit for me was the espresso martini. It was delicious. The drink definitely wasn't watered down and you could taste the espresso. Probably one of the best drinks I've tasted in quite a while. A cute combination of coffee and libation. read more

I've been coming to rehoboth/Dewey multiple times a year since forever due to having family live here, but for some reason I never have come here. I've been to the starboard across the street, but not starboard raw. I'm so glad I changed that this last visit! Because it's the off season we were able to walk right in and get a table, something that's probably hard to do in the summer. First of all, our waiter was great! I wish I remembered his name! But really the whole staff seemed great, they had a few people waiting tables, running food, tending bar, and everyone we encountered were kind and helpful. Our party ordered quite a lot, and it was honestly all great. I loved the soup, the crab stuffed pretzel, and the special which was tacos (Tuesday.) When I return in summer I will absolutely be coming back! read more

Stopped in here and quite surprised at this place. The food was shockingly good. I had a hankering for crab cakes and they came through. I do like mine a little more crunchy but overall it was good. Over the rice was different but worked with the meal. One tip I learned. Know your oysters. They were prepared well but I need to know the sizes. :) read more

Most were masked but a large table of folks near us were all laughing and talking unmasked, as they were eating and drinking it makes sense, but we were within the "splash zone" so I wish we'd been able to sit outside. read more

This was a great spot for getting in my raw cravings! We ordered a mini feast, sampling numerous things. They had four different kinds of oysters when we were there and I got one of each to try them out. My favorite was the wellfleet oyster. I also got a half dozen topneck clams (raw), lobster mac & cheese, saffron rice, Brussell sprouts, peel & eat shrimp, a Cousteau oyster shooter and a tequila crush. I was super impressed by everything. The lobster mac & cheese had a super creamy sauce with a smooth and slightly sweet flavor. The crab and lobster were quality bits and they give you a solid amount of it. The Brussell sprouts were crispy and delicious, topped with bacon and parmesean cheese (I asked for no buffalo sauce and blue cheese). The tequila crush I ordered usually comes with grapefruit juice, but they switched it out for orange juice at my request. The orange juice is not from a carton. You could taste the freshness of the oranges in the drink! Our server was super helpful and friendly. All in all, an excellent experience and I will definitely go back the next time I get out to Dewey Beach. read more

Wow super impressed by this raw bar! We had the Alaskan crab legs, crab cake sandwich, raw oysters, and seafood delight and it was so good! First time visiting SR Raw and I was pleased with my meal. I had the seafood boil and it was very delicious. The only drawback for me was the restaurant had only 4 maybe 5 tables inside and it was very tight. If it weren't for that I would have given 5 stars. read more

Absolutely great!! Our server, Wendy, was truly amazing. So accommodating, incredibly friendly, and effective. And the food was perfect! From apps to mains, everything was great, and the drinks hit the spot. The experience was slightly tainted by our encounter with the hostess. Despite having put our name in for a table of 5 people, waiting 2 hours, and receiving a text that a table was ready, we came to find that they had a table of 4, not 5. We responded by asking if there was an extra chair we could use so everyone in our party could have a seat, and we were told there was not. This obviously would not work for our party, but we were met with attitude, eye rolls, and dismissiveness, when we told the hostess we couldn't take a table for 4, as she was somehow confused why one of us wouldn't stand for the entirety of our meal. Once we were eventually sat, Wendy made all the difference. Amazing! read more

Really impressed. Popped in for dinner and drinks at bar. $5 crushes were generous and not watered down. Service was outstanding too. We decided to go small plates route, and glad we did. RARELY do we like everything we order but everything was exceptional. Fried calamari was crispy and tender, steamed clams were very small so they sent out 2 dozen and the butter wine sauce was fabulous (thanks to the bartender for offering to bring out some bread - really thoughtful and attentive), we also got the burger sliders and flat iron steak bruschetta - both were fresh delicious and very satisfying. Arrived in Dewey beach today and after checking in, we looked for a place nearby that we could walk to. After 7 hours in the car, we needed to stretch our legs! We found Starboard just a few blocks away. Cool interior and not too busy as we arrived in the afternoon. We ordered margaritas which were happy hour priced so first good sign! I had a crab cake sandwich with old bay fries and cucumber salad all for $15.00. My friend had a salmon/avocado sandwich with the same sides- same price. Other choice for a side is roasted brussel sprouts which sounded awesome. They do have a children's menu too. Other choices like shrimp tacos will make us return again before we leave! We didn't realize that there are two places right across the street from one another-the restaurant and the raw bar. We ended up at the raw bar, which is probably much smaller, but got a seat right away at around 530 on a Wednesday. My husband enjoyed the dollar oyster special, getting the Delaware Oysters. He got the fish and chips, I got the brisket grilled cheese and fries, and the grilled cheese was amazing. The fries are thick and like steak fries, with old bay seasoning. I'd probably try the tator tots next time. read more
