This Starbucks is what it is. Tiny parking lot, too many stay-at-home moms and nannies, not enough seats but the baristas are friendly and the location is convenient. So happy they brought back individual tables, too bad the armchairs aren't back as well. read more

Rude staff, very disorganized, took forever to get my drinks...won't be going back to this location any time soon.

The four stars are for the staff. They're friendly, they get my order right, and no matter how busy they are and how much I may want to throttle the people in front of me in line (There's a special place in hell reserved for anyone who waits in line 2-5 minutes and still doesn't know what they want when they get to the counter!) I've never seen them lose their patience. The one star I didn't give is for the people running the show. And really, everyone complaining about slow service and only having one person making drinks during a rush, I hope you're not seriously ignorant enough to think the staff has anything at all to do with those decisions. Those come from the people who sit in their cushy offices far away from the long, slow-moving lines. If you think it's okay to blame the person making your drink for that, you can join the people who take forever to order in that special place in hell, just saying. That said, the people making the decisions need to let management schedule more people on certain shifts because to have only one person taking orders and one or two people making the drinks and getting the food is unfair to the customers, and it's extremely unfair to the staff who have to suffer impatient, ignorant customers' wrath. read more

Per Starbucks standards the baristas are always super friendly. But this has to be the most inconsistent Starbucks ever. Drinks are never made the same way twice and we regularly have to ask to have things remade. read more

This is the first negative review I have ever written on Yelp. I would say this placed does deserve it. I have used many Starbucks over the years. I have waited over 20 minutes for an iced latte on several occasions. The only reason I use this location occasionally is that it is close to my home. Staff are rude and inefficient. I would not expect this from a Starbucks which I would expect both efficiency and quality. Pretty consistently I receive better service in the city. Locally the Starbucks in Westford has better service. read more

This place is horrible. I used to work at the busiest Starbucks in Boston...with a line out the door all day... and we were faster. I've never waited so long for a latte, and to top it off the milk was cold and the espresso was old ( sat in the shot glass for about 2 min before being added to my cold milk) The man at the counter was rude, I asked for a spinach feta wrap and he just said, "no" ....Uhhhhhh... i go there basically every day. if you're looking for incredible service, this probably isn't it, but they get the job done and i love all the baristas there (especially dan). there's a lot of room for parking and their system for covid is pretty good. given the 1:5 starbucks:dunkin' ratio in acton i'm glad it's there. read more

I go here often on my treck to work and they pretty much always get my order right, if it's slightly off they remake it without a question. Also a nice spot to sit with your laptop and get away from everything. read more

This has been my Starbucks on Sunday mornings. I really like it, they have more comfortable seatings and power plugs for my laptop than any other starbucks (except ones in Beijing and Shanghai) I have been to. They also have outdoor seatings which would be really nice when the weather warms up :-) And the music is nice too, I like this cute Starbucks in Acton. read more

Very long wait times, horrible and limited parking, and rather dirty facilities. I don't think anyone ever cleans the tables during the day. Some staff are gruff and unfriendly (register staff only). On the plus side my drink is always perfect. read more

I've been coming to this location for years and the service has rarely been great but it's hit a new low lately. My 13 year old daughter ran in to get her order a few weeks ago and came out 15 minutes later in tears - apparently the baristas ignored her for 10 minutes and then yelled at her when she tried to carefully approach the plexiglass to ask for her order, which had been sitting in plain view the whole time. Our last few visits, mobile ordering has been unavailable which leads to tons of people in a small space trying to order and waiting for orders. Today the shop was filled with about 20 customers and there was not enough space for anyone to appropriately distance. I ordered a drink and a pastry and when my order was finally called, it was the wrong pastry. I tried to tell the barista who was handing it over but she ignored me. I waited at the plexiglass pick up barrier, a few feet back out of respect, until one of the baristas said "Why are you standing there?" I explained my order was incorrect and she responded by angrily accusing me of mis-ordering. I said that I know it's hard to to be heard in a loud busy shop while wearing a mask but I was certain I had ordered the correct thing. I did eventually receive the correct item but it was thrown at me with such anger and vigor that it almost fell on the floor. I know this location gets busy and I don't expect service with a smile every time but service without open hostility would be nice. I'll be patronizing a different Starbucks, much farther from my home, from now on. read more

Generally I love this Starbucks, most of the staff is excellent and friendly and know my drink order. However today was not the most wonderful experience in the world. I mobile ordered around 10:45 and apparently the machine that prints the stickers for mobile orders was jammed, which one employee openly admitted he was aware of. There is another section by pick up that prints a list of mobile orders, however this area was not checked. 20 minutes went by until someone finally asked what I was waiting for as at least 20 people came in and out. Not pleased with the service today, nor was an apology even offered for the wait. I go to this Starbucks usually twice a day. I'm still giving 5 stars for this is a one off occasion, but if the sticker printer isn't working, check the other section. Mobile orders are for people who are in a rush and don't have the time to wait in line. read more

I'm not sure why I continue to return. This location is convenient on my commute but I am disappointed every time I go in. There is never any parking, staff are painfully slow and unfriendly. They literally never smile at customers in line. Then the priority is mobile orders. I literally waited for 20 min today for a grande iced tea and watched 10 mobile orders get put out. Why can't there be one person working mobile orders and one working the line? There were about 4-5 staff and it looked like only 2 were doing anything. Forget sitting down here to have your drink too. There is not enough seating. Definitely pass this up if you have another option. read more

This Starbucks is by far my favorite location. They always greet me with a smile and I don't think they have ever messed up my drink. I normally mobile order and if they are out of something, they will offer an alternative or refund the item. This morning they were out of a breakfast sandwich I like and the barista gave me a perfect recommendation. Seriously, great staff, excellent service!! read more

I'm happy to report that this Starbucks has changed back from its oft lamented change to one long bar-high table with backless stools to small regular height tables. Thank you! While the comfortable arm chairs are still absent the return of regular tables is such a relief that I'm willing to overlook this. The problem with finding a table has, of course, returned but this is a cost I'm willing to pay to see how much better customers feel and the return of families with small children. I was just served the worst Starbucks drink I've ever had, and my Starbucks card dates back to 2009. It was a strawberry frappuccino with almost no strawberry syrup added. The base frappuccino mix without any added flavor is almost undrinkable. I waited over 10 minutes for my drink to be made. I was too hungry and too tired of waiting to complain in person. read more

The staff and service is great. The coffee is delicious. The new layout however, is terrible. There's no place to sit ! There's no chairs with backs on them (except the ones looking out the window). The room is not welcoming at all. It looks more like a middle school cafeteria than a coffee shop. Who wants to sit on that long bench with someone staring right at you ? Not me. No, they have it all wrong at this location. It's unorganized, slow and they still don't make the drink taste like it should. There was one person making all the drinks, shaken teas, Frapps and running the machine. Meanwhile 4 other people were trying to look busy, awful. While I will admit I am a coffee snob from Seattle, growing up where the original Starbucks originated. This one puts the company to shame. They need to learn to make a proper latte and macchiato, it always comes out bitter, not smooth. And when asked to make the drink again they give you the worst attitude. The Lattes -- both iced and hot -- tend to be even weaker here than at other Starbucks locations, even though I always order "double-talls" or "triple-grandes," and switched from 2% to 1% milk some time ago. It's been YEARS since I could order a double-tall or triple-grande with 2% milk at *any* Starbucks and revel in a rich, espresso-tasting beverage, but these days it's ridiculous, even though they're using SMALLER CUPS and I'm using 1% milk. And if I want one of those shots to be decaf? There's just the barest *hint* of espresso taste. The people who work here are generally quite friendly (I disagree with those who say otherwise), but does anyone really want a $4 cup of milk? So disappointing. read more

I have been to lots of different Starbucks in all different states. The Starbucks in Acton is far and above the best, friendliest and fastest one I have been to, hands down! I go every morning super early, right after they open. The staff there knows me by name, sometimes hands me my drink as I walk in, and always makes polite and personal conversation. On weekends when I go and there are more people there, even if there is a line it moves fast, they are efficient, and I have never once had to send something back cause it was wrong, unlike every Dunkins I have been too. The staff is the nicer, happiest bunch i've seen at a starbucks, the managers there are happy, personable and have never even heard one of them bark an order at someone. When I go to other stores besides Acton it just isn't the same. So thankful they are close to home! read more

I have patronized Starbucks for many years. Today I stopped into this Starbucks for a cappuccino. I received a cup one-third filled with beverage and the rest foam. To top it off (so to speak!) the cappuccino that was present was AWFUL! Having had cappuccino all over Italy I have actually found Starbucks to come reasonably close, reasonably consistently, for an American purveyor. read more

This Starbucks is great. Food and drink is great, service is quick and friendly, there is seating both indoors and outdoors and generally parking is easy. The only thing to watch out for is the after school rush of teens. read more
