I go through this drive thru at least 3-4 times a week around 6 am. I order the exact same thing every time and 60% of the time I get the wrong drink. I worked for starbucks for 5 years and there is a huge difference between a peppermint white mocha and a peppermint mocha. I order a peppermint white mocha and 3/4 of the time get a peppermint mocha. The order is repeated back properly but the bar person misses the WHITE MOCHA part. I don't have extra time to go back around or inside to wait for another drink. Please beautiful baristas.... be mindful of what people are ordering. I love the people and the store but getting the wrong drink at 6am... not fun! Usually make our pit stops here on our way down the mountain from Reno. Place is usually not too crowded therefore you get your drinks quite quickly. Staff are always in an upbeat mood and the place is well kept. Ie clean restrooms, never out of sugar or half n half like most unkept Starbucks. read more

So impressed with the community spirit at this Starbucks. Went in to get a drink before my daughters basketball game. One of the employees, maybe it was the manager was very nice, making conversation and when he found out I was going to my daughters local basketball game he told me to tell her if she wins to come back in and he will give her a free drink. Well, her team won and we went back into this Starbucks and he was true to his word and really made her day with the feee drink! A man with a red beard was very rude started screaming at me telling me to leave after I had already payed I told him I wasn't leaving until I got my money back he then proceeded to say no and I told him that that was stealing so he said he could give me my money back when I got my gift card back it was soaked and he just threw it at me I've never had a problem with star bucks before. that was the rudest I have ever been treated anywhere read more

Great drivethrough, always fast and friendly - only reason for 3 stars. The Starbucks across the freeway doesn't have a drivethrough, so this is my go-to when I need a quick espresso fix on the go. This used to have an attractive interior too - had a cozy friendly feel - not anymore, for which this would be a 2-star place except for the drivethrough. They did a remodel recently of the interior and there's no flow to it at all, it's cold and impersonal. I'm really disappointed, this was formerly a place to get a hot drink and relax and chat. I can't get over how crummy it looks - like furniture from a catalog versus an actual design. Oh well, I'll find somewhere else to be cozy - but the drivethrough works. read more

Just showed up to the drive through ten minutes before closing (ordinary I don't like to order near closing, but I figured a single drink wouldn't be too much of an inconvenience) and nobody bothered to acknowledge me or let me know if they had closed early. I had waited for a couple of minutes. When I pulled up to the window to make sure I wasn't crazy, there were at least two employees inside; one of which pretended not to see me, and eventually the other made the universal we're closed sign. Ordinarily everyone is so polite and friendly at this location, so I was really surprised by how dismissive and rude they were. In the future I hope the hours posted online accurately reflect when the store is actually open, or that the employees are a little nicer. read more

Friendly staff in the drive-thru but they messed up both drink orders and after remaking the second drink they did it wrong the second time. I really wish that with Starbucks being so universal that people knew how to actually make the drinks correctly. The drink is full of milk and it shouldn't be. This is my favorite Starbucks in town. It is large, open, and bright with natural light. There is always parking and the staff is super friendly and helpful with suggestions whenever I am undecided about exactly which coffee drink will match my mood ;) I appreciate that Starbucks Corporation is continually working to improve their food selections, too. I love that they finally have a GF sandwich. Yesterday, when this location was sold out of the GF sandwich, I tried one of the new salads and it was delicious! I highly recommend the new salads and this particular Starbucks! read more

I'm a little tired of the customer service in the morning. There's maybe two people in the store I've had pleasant interactions with. The girls that work the drive thru in the morning are always incredibly rude to me, don't make eye contact with me, practically toss my drink out the window. Whenever I go inside for a mobile order, nobody acknowledges me, and when they do they sound moody...I understand that it's early, but I opened a coffee shop for almost five years. We always greeted and acknowledged our customers. Always pleasant with them. So that's not really a reason to make your customers feel unwelcome. They're more concerned with conversations amongst themselves and talking to each other on their headsets than their customers. There have been a few occasions where I've submitted a mobile order ten minutes prior to arriving, and still had to wait another 5-10 minutes as I watch countless people come and go through the drive thru. Which to me, defeats the purpose of submitting an online order. I've had a few drinks served to me with over a quarter of the drink missing. I posted a photo of one. I didn't drink it yet and didn't notice how low it was until I got to work..This morning was the final straw. Submitted my mobile order, arrived, had to wait longer, they tried giving me a different mobile order, told them it wasn't mine, finally got my drink but did not get my food item. When I asked her about the food item she seemed irritated. I was waiting at the bar because I wanted to request a stopper, and she yelled at me from the opposite end of the counter where the pastry case is holding out my croissant saying "here you go" in a rude tone. I asked her twice if I could have a stopper. Again she seemed irritated but walked over to where I was standing and reached over to give me one. I could have done that myself but I always thought it rude to reach into the baristas space...Anywho, just wasn't a pleasant experience this morning...Sucks because I prefer this location for my morning route to work. read more

As a loyal Starbucks customer/addict, I was so excited to have a drive thru close to my house but I have been nothing but disappointed in their service and after many "second chances", I will continue to drive all the way across town to the Bell Rd drive thru! On most occasions, this location only has one person working the register and taking orders which results in long wait times. There is nothing more irritating then getting up to the window, only to be ignored while the employee is taking another order and holding your coffee in their hand! Not only is the wait time a problem, 9 times out of 10, they get my order wrong or it's just plain unsatisfactory and it's a simple coffee order. Bottom line, if you're looking to get a satisfactory coffee within a reasonable amount of time, I'd try the Starbucks on Lincoln Way or Bell Rd! read more

Pretty disappointed with customer service. Food and drinks are good, but my daughter has a peanut allergy and I wanted to get her a donut so I called ahead of time. They said they would set one aside still in the package just for her. I got there and they hadn't. They said they would give it to me for free for the hassle, and then at the window the girl asks the guy on the headset "are we giving this to her for free since we didn't have one in a package?" "No." I'm sorry but don't offer something if you aren't going to do it. And maybe you should be more informed about allergies and what is made where because this was quite an eye opener for me. Slowest starbucks in the world. Every time at least 15 min. I don't think there is enough staff. Every time is so slow. I stopped going.

I understand this is a new store but I'm surprised at the lack of training at this location. Last week I had to explain to the personnel that my earned free drink (or food) reward can be used for food. Also, I have my items rung up separately so I earn the appropriate stars. I have been to many Starbucks and this is the only location that has consistently complained about the extra work required. Starbucks is known for their training program. I'm a loyal Starbucks customer, but I hate this Starbucks. I've been through their drive-thru about two times and inside once- all three times they've managed to mess up my drinks. Not to mention my drinks aren't even that complicated! They can't seem to manage 'light ice' or 'no foam'. Absolutely ridiculous. The one time I went inside with a few friends they lady on the register was soo slow and kept messing up. It took 10 minutes to order 3 simple drinks. Not sure what was going on with the girl worker tonight but she was super rude. I've been here multiple times and have never had such bad service. Before she opened the window to talk to me she sat there and talked to her other coworker over the headset. I was a partner for over a year and a half and that's not how it works. Mostly, I use drive through when there is one to force them to pay attention to me. Today, I was standing there watching 4 people working behind the counter completely ignoring me as if I did not exist. No "can I help you?" Not even from the employee who had just served the person in front of me. No "we'll be right with you." No acknowledgement at all of my existence. So I walked out and went to another Starbucks where they cannot pretend they are busy helping the more important drive through customers because there are none. read more

I was very surprised when it first open, how big and spacious the place made it! I love stopping by here when I go through Auburn because there will usually be a place to sit and the service is great as well. The manager is also very giving and always holding events to give back to the community. If there's a Starbucks store worth putting your $$$ in, it's this one! read more

I have been going through the drive through at this location every morning (at least 5 days a week) since it opened. I have never been inside until a couple days ago when I wanted to exchange a mug that was a gift. I just wanted a better design. When I approached the counter and asked if I could exchange it (it was still in the box with all the stickers) the older woman was EXTREMLY rude! She told me it is STRICT Starbucks policy that they do not exchange without the original reciept. I explained it was a gift, and she didn't care. I was so surprised by her off put rude demenor, that I will never return to this location again. I'll spend the $11 I spent every morning, on an establishment that is courteous, gracious, and helpful. read more
