Just about the halfway mark between Vegas and Los Angeles, this is a really good spot to stop and stretch your legs. Also not too bad to get a little caffeine help you with the drive. The coffee is Starbucks. You either like it or you don't. We stopped here for breakfast. I got the mozzarella and roasted tomato on bread. They warm it up before they serve it to you. Decent Starbucks - great service - our barista at the counter was joking around with us (without it being too much or it being over the top - which we appreciated!). Drinks were made perfect and food tasted fresh. However, there is something about the Lenwood exit bathrooms that is just bad and this place is no different (maybe it's the volume of people moving through here??). This starbucks is my regular stop on my way to vegas. The drive can be long, especially if there is traffic. The store is always clean, and yes at times there can be a line, but it moves pretty quickly. They have little tables and chairs for those who want to sit for awhile. Their restroom is normally pretty clean, so that is a plus. No complaints about this store. read more

I always stop at this starbucks, but I go through drive thru. This time I decided to stop inside since I had a little time to spend. The drinks were up to quality. Bathroom was clean. But then again it was 6am. So everything hadn't been messed with too much. I would have given them a 5/5 if I didn't stop inside. Oh how I am glad that I stopped inside because I'm never coming back to this location now. The lounge area was full of flies. Not one. Not two. But about 6-7. They were on the counters, couches. Came here early morning on the way to a job and wanted a quick pick me up. I placed a phone order and my app said it would be ready within 6-8 minutes so I stood outside and waited. And waited. And waited.. kept peaking in the window to see if it had been placed on the table but no such luck. I was the only person waiting and there was maybe three cars that came through the drive through the whole time. 15 minutes later I finally went inside and there was at least 4 people maybe more working and they clearly looked like they were in no rush. Literally moving at a glacial pace and almost pretending to be busy. Nobody looked up or bothered to ask me what I needed so finally I said excuse me, and got ignored still, until I again said "I placed a mobile order 15 minutes ago and was wondering if it was ready? And after some dirty looks and scoffs one girl looks around, Finds my half melted iced coffee just sitting off to the side, and says "here" and hands it to me. I was really shocked at the blatant lack of customer service and minimal effort. Not even an apology for obviously forgetting about it. She literally waited the last possible minute to put my bagel in and the entire establishment is just a mess. Went to this Starbucks and got two drinks and sausage cheddar biscuit. we got the drink in 5 min which is why they are getting 1 Star but we waited 30 min (not exaggerating) for the sausage cheddar biscuit! and the lady handing out the drinks and food was being rude! my sister in law had to go up to her 2 times asking when it would be ready because we were waiting a LONG time. Finally after the 2nd time she decided to tell the other lady making the food to make our order when she should of done it the first time we asked! Forget the coffee.... The bathrooms were insanely dirty, trash overflowing in every stall, toilet paper out in 3 of the bathrooms, hand towels out but all over the floor. Disgusting. So dirty Every part of this store was dirty from the floors to the counters. Bathrooms were unusable. It was about 3 pm on a Tuesday. Not busy at all. My basic ice coffee was made wrong. This location does not meet up with the standards of other Starbucks and should be shut down. It was like a truck stop. Seriously, it was. Workers never smiled or acted like they cared. This location is horrible. This was our stop on our way back to Las Vegas from Los Angeles (another 170+ miles to go). We get in the drive thru lane and we waited forever. Then, once we finally got our drink and paid, it was wrong! I had to make a u-turn at the first light out of there and go back. We walked into the store and there are five employees working at the slowest speed possible (and few customers inside the location - none waiting for their drinks). When finally someone comes up to the counter to help us, we explained that we received the wrong drink and what the drink should have been. The employee looks at the drink with no response. Another employee overheard us and says "oh I think I made that mistake. My bad." And that's it! No apology to us! Finally one of the employees agreed to re-make it however there was no empathy or sign of caring from any of the employees. Last time we will stop here. read more
