First off, I do wanna say that I'm glad that this particular Starbucks finally opened up in my neighborhood because it's convenient. I work nights so when I get off work in the morning, I usually mobile order and it's ready before I head home. Pros: I like that it's clean, spacious and brand new. The interior decor is modern, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and I noticed that there are ample outlets so it's a good place to study or work. Some cons...the drinks are either hit or miss and the partners in the morning are for the most part friendly. I can't speak for the midday to evening shift because I only go in the mornings. My gripes are when I go to pick up my mobile order, I'll need to ask for a straw, a stopper for my hot coffee or a drink tray, and I'll be standing there, obvious that I need help and the baristas behind the counter don't acknowledge me UNLESS I say something. I used to be a Starbucks partner and the store I worked at was big on the "customer service experience" so that is why I get a little annoyed when I have to stand there and be ignored unless I'm like, hello, excuse me! Another gripe, I did notice this morning that this store doesn't have a display case so I don't know what kind of pastries or breakfast sandwiches they have on hand. I ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese and I was told that they were out of cream cheese so I settled on butter instead. When I got home, one of my bagels was warmed up but the other bagel wasn't. So annoying. I am giving this location 3 stars (it's really 2.5 stars but I'm being generous). I get that this store is brand new and they might be trying to get into the rhythm of things so maybe the customer experience will improve. Hopefully soon! read more

I'm so glad this location finally opened up because it's been super convenient when I need a quick pick me up or a place to study. The facility is very clean and service is pretty efficient...like a 3/5, but the customer service is average to somewhat friendly and not as rude as some of the other reviews are mentioning. I definitely haven't had any issues with any employees here. Drive through can get a little busy but I personally have not ordered through it because I've been coming here to study and the inside is spacious and usually always empty. read more

If I could give this location 10 stars, I would. From top to bottom, this location is the epitome of the Starbucks experience. The customer service is stellar and the drinks are made with love. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and appreciated. The manager, Brandie, is the definition of a great leader. She has the location running smoothly and everything is very clean. Everyone has smiles on their faces. When I sat down, someone voluntarily sanitized my table. As I ordered, baristas Melanie and Des connected with me and made sure I enjoyed my stay. Not the best customer experience and long wait times. During my last two visits, I had my order over looked. While watching cafe orders, that came in after mine, received their orders first. I frequent this location a lot, and I was offended today when I asked for a carry bag to hold my food items. The young girl working at the window proceeded to hand me the bag, in which I realized was used, chopped up, folded and bent up. There was stains all over it. She had the nerve to store my food items in that nasty bag. I asked her, "did you just give me a used bag"? She said, "ooh it's the bag we store the new bags in".... Excuse me??? Why would you give me a used bag, when I paid my good money and expect nothing but the best service. I was so appalled. The sanity check here was insane today. The man that took my order was very nice. I had ordered 2 drinks but forgot to order another one so I had asked if I could order it at the window he said yes. Once he had told the barista (Cynthia with purple hair) she looked at me and shrugged while making a face as if she did not want to make my drink and as if she was annoyed she has to make another one. You can tell right away that it's a new store as everytime I go in it's chaos. Drinks scattered at the pickup. People touching all the drinks to see if it's their order. Orders all mixed up. You always have to ask for a carrier. Who can really carry three drinks without spilling. It may sound critical but I'm paying for a service. At least get it right, if you're going to charge five bucks for 8 oz of coffee. My first trip...I understand it was opening weekend...second trip ehhh...third trip... officially decided third time is not the charm. They aren't consistent. The cashier does their job and everyone else slips up along the way. Barista don't even look at you when you ask where is my drink? So it is a disappointment as I live up the street and wanted to make this a regular thing. I'll just wait for steak n more. It's supposed to open in that center. The neighborhood this Starbucks is in can only be described as post world war 2 Poland. I'd be scared to walk around at night and even in daylight you will still feel the need to carry a weapon. But in between the poverty and self harm of this neighborhood, you'll find the friendliest, most professional staff Starbucks has ever hired. 10/10 One specifically sticks out to me because she has been there since the first day I went to this location. I was super excited about this location, it's so close to my home and thought it would be extremely convenient, but at this point that doesn't even matter anymore. the service is horrible, it's always dirty when I have to go inside, the staff are always so unprofessional and slow moving. i refuse to go through the drive thru, as I've waited for 20+ mins one time. I keep telling myself to never go back because my drinks are constantly made wrong but the person that I am gives another chance. but after this last visit, I'm done. I placed an order for pick up and my drink was yet again made wrong. I waited at the counter for more than 5 mins and nobody acknowledged me. I had to interrupt their conversation just to get their attention and they still had the nerve to have an attitude. i don't typically write bad reviews but this was the final straw for me. never again am I coming to this location!! read more

We waited it seemed like a long time for this Starbucks to open.y mom was so excited about it that once it did open. I took her through the drive through ordered a blended tall mocha. A tall dragon fruit with lemonade blended. And a breakfast sandwich but the guy taking the order kept saying we are limited to what we have in store. I asked. Ok whst do you have available? He just keep repeating the same comment.So after several choices we got a panni. When we got to the pick-up window they gave us mom's drink but it wasn't blended. I handed it back to the girl and said sweet heart this is supposed to be blended. She said oh ok. Took it back and blended it. And soon after received a delicious warm panni. Then finally got a mocha but I quickly noticed it wasn't blended. I said again I am sorry but I asked for this blended. She was confused but said let me ask. A manager popped out of the window irrated and said Next time order your drinks blended. I said I did order them blended. Again he said the next time you come here ask for your drinks blended before hand. I a bit louder and stronger said I DID ORDER THEM BLENDED... He then said mover over there. The entrance to this drive-thru is on Bellflower Blvd. Their signs to tell u this are not super visible and didn't until I was on Cedar. This has got to be one of the worst designed parking lots IMO. Please remove those stupid poles in drive thru and make the entrance/exit make sense so we can all get in and out easier. I can see people have already hit their cars on the poles as they are slightly bent which I bet was someone's car trying to maneuver in to the drive-thru. Service is so so... had to repeat drink order a few times even tho I already provided all the detail. No sleeves on hot drinks and had to ask for them. This Starbs needs some changes to happen and I would frequent more but for now it's on the bottom of my list and I will go to other locations with less hassle. read more

super disappointed in this starbucks. i understand that it is the night before christmas eve and no one wants to work, but the rudeness and arrogance that was displayed is extremely unacceptable. i ordered through the drive-thru around 6:30pm and the person on the speaker was rude and short with my friend who was in the driver's seat. when we went up to the window, the white girl with the red hair and chunky lashes tossed the sandwich to my friend and definitely tried her best to get us out. when my friend asked for straws, she rolled her eyes and huffed and did not even look in our direction when she handed them. i dont know if her issue is with my friend very obviously being lgbt+, or if it is just her unwillingness to work during the holiday season but the attitude she displayed was definitely not one i expected from a starbucks partner. ill just stick to the one in artesia read more
