Just last week I had heard this podcast where they were Talking about "Coffee Bucks" it had me laughing because everything this guy said was so true. Is Starbucks part of this syndrome? As I was on my app, ordering my iced cold brew, I wondered did I really need to spend six dollars on an iced coffee, probably not but I did I want the pistachio cold brew... yes! I ordered on my app and the default on the app is not the drive-through but to pick up, so I parked my car went inside. My coffee was waiting for me at the counter, and I have to admit the place was packed, so I guess they are doing something right and a lot of people have "coffee Bucks" syndrome including me. The Pistachio cold brew hit the spot. It was so good. Worth the money... have to think about that...no...not really... I paid it and probably will again. Just an FYI, this is a fairly new location that replaced the one that was on the other side of this large retail plaza (Garden Shoppes). The new location is a huge improvement.... I never cared much that the old location along Powerline Road was somewhat small with little room to get comfortable and drink on the premises but when I started to visit the new location, it was only then did I realize how small the other one was. This new location is quite large and even has a drive-thru. The ordering and service counter is at least twice the size of the old and there are now plenty of tables. Like most all Starbucks locations they have their merchandise rack and the case of goodies with wraps, muffins and so much more. I love that they have seating and plenty of it but I didn't notice many power outlets (in todays day and age, these are a must). I think my only gripe specific to this location, is with all the staff they have working, why can't they clean tables... maybe they do but each time I visit there are plenty of tables that have dried spills, left over sweetener wrappers or other left over debris on the tables. It's fine- don't assume you can go in the back door anymore. You can't. I ordered my coffee which was quick. But I must say that the place is not exactly clean. As of May 2022, this is moved to the new location (from next to Einstein Brothers Bagel to Palmetto Park Road facing, next to Chipotle) and with a drive-thru! I couldn't be happier. The store is bright and clean, plenty of seats inside and out. The staff is wonderful. And coffee is as good as always. read more

This place is a garage can. None of the teen employees clean the place, they are just chitchatting or on their phone so customer service is almost non existent existence. There's never bake goods on display, it is an empty display! Overflow garbage bags, dirty bathrooms, sticky dirty floors....etc. read more

How can you be mad at having to get out of your car with service this good and friendly?! I can honestly say I walked out happier than I walked in today. I love to get coffee at Starbucks. Their Breakfast Blend is the perfect drink that they sell. I used to take my sweet little dog, Frankie to Starbucks every morning and get coffee for me and Diane. Frankie loved to go so much. He would run around in circles and excitedly jump in the car, when I opened the door. It was the highlight of our day to go to Starbucks and get coffee every morning! Then I would take Frankie to get Hostess mini powdered donuts, but that's another story. Maybe that's why he got so excited. I still call them Frankieshmankie donuts when I see them. Frankie passed away a few years ago, but there is still a soft spot in my heart for Starbucks. The Boca store is much the same as every other Starbucks. They do have a front and back door which is a little unusual. The coffee is super-delicious. They cater to whatever preference you may have for your morning drink (or whatever time you choose to visit Starbucks). I particularly enjoy the iced coffee. Starbucks creates a beautiful ambiance. You see the same people every time you go there, almost like a Starbucks family. I now make my own coffee at home to save money, but it still evokes wonderful memories to visit Starbucks. read more

I was here with Wife and granddaughter to help her study. I went to the rest room it was filthy soap all over the floor, piss on the seat paper on the floor and no running water. I expressed this to the manager ant that room was cleaned upI went a second time to the other room and again disgusting. I don't know what kind of clientele the have however it must be barbarians. I refused to eat or drink anything here based on the other disgusting conditions. I will avoid this location at all cost. Came to grab coffee and there was a sign saying they will open at 7am. A worker opened the door at 6:57 and said they would be open in a few minutes, waited 10 more minutes just for them to say they weren't opening. I came into this location while visiting my Brother in Boca, needed to get my PSL fix. There were 4 of us who ordered all together and there were people behind us so Nick, the guy who took care of us was not that friendly and seemed to be rushing us. He also seemed to be annoyed at that fact that we were so many and ordered 5 things which should not be the case. We arrived before these other people in line and if we were by ourselves ordering 5 separate orders it probably would not have been a problem to him but we wanted to pay with one card. I ordered my usual seasonal tall soy pumpkin spice double latte with a little whip cream and a toasted chocolate croissant. Anyone that knows me knows I need my coffee. I prefer strong coffees like cafe con leche from a good cuban coffee shop or something similar. I haven't found any of those type of coffee shops so the next best thing is Starbucks. This is the location that I like the most. The baristas are very good here. Knock on wood they have not made any mistakes yet. The store is decorated just like most of the other stores. It doesn't have as much seating as other stores but that doesn't bother me since I always take it to go. I usually get a caramel macchiato with soy milk but I would also recommend the chai tea or the green tea latte. The prices are expensive but I got used to it. The case with all the desserts always looks good here. Even though the desserts are really expensive, my man still treats me to them. They are so good that they make me smile. read more

Not sure why asking what lunch sandwiches were available was too challenging. The employees response was to point to the case that was very lacking of baked goods and had 1 sandwich. The lack of availability and product inventory isn't even the main issue, but how rude and unprofessional staff is was the kicker. How hard would it have been to say what was available for purchase, but not a worry, the pre made sandwich that has been sitting for who knows how long was not worth the nearly $7 charge. My best service experience at STARBUCKS ever! I spend an unnatural percentage of my income on Starbucks coffee at their stores & when brewing at home. I am addicted to their coffee. I enjoy their atmosphere, most of their music, the decor & food selections. But, their service is 2-star at best in every shop I regularly frequent. They all have 2-cash registers, but only use one. Most have a drive thru & they get served first & Pre-occupy any baristas who are really interested in serving the customer. Most have 5-6 employees who are giddy, obnoxious or just weird who are behind the counter & they are usually talking among themselves while 5-6 customers are waiting in line to give their orders. I had decided, "This is just what Starbucks is!" This location in Boca Raton, FL was the exception to everything I had come to expect. There was no drive-thru lane but thanks to on-line ordering with the excellent Starbucks app, I saw many walking in & grabbing their on-line orders. They were using BOTH cash registers!! What a brilliant idea! Interestingly this shop had the fewest number of employees I've ever seen, four. Also the fewest number of exposed, exotic tattoos & body piercings. Izzy & Michael were who served me the 5-days I came in. They were friendly, efficient and courteous. Nice place to sit and sip. This location can get pretty busy because it's surrounded by several office buildings and restaurants. I notice people just sitting and killing time until their next appointment. The drinks are on par with any other Starbucks, and the staff is friendly. The bathrooms, however, should be sanitized more thoroughly. Although the walls look clean and the floors are dry, there's a stale, unpleasant odor that lingers inside and directly outside the bathroom.
