    Iced Shaken Brown Sugar Espresso

Food: There was WAAAAY too much ice in my shaken espresso, and barely any espresso/coffee/oat milk, it was mainly vanilla sweet cream cold foam (which I love, but I need coffee as well to really wake me up, and oat milk for the consistency). Service: Ordered in advance so it was ready by the time I got there! Ambiance: I personally wouldn't sit there for coffee haha, it is in a really nice area though, lots of natural light in store as well.

I dont know whether theyre skimping on their ingredients are whatever but I've already salted caramel cold foam cold brew multiple times from them and it sucks every single time. The foam isn't foam, it's like froth and the foam has already melted into the drink (not supposed to be that way). The pic I attached shows what the drink looks like even before the barista handed it to me...either the barista is doing wrong or their batch of ingredients for the cold foam has been defective for the past 1.5 months. By the way, i even ordered extra salted caramel cold foam. Now it just looks like a regular iced latte with light foam. I guess ill have to keep going to other starbucks around since they make it properly...

"G" was not camera ready for my Check In, however his customer skills was pleasant & helpful. I made my usual inquiry to see if they carried Agave & finally, here along the eastern seaboard, I got my Agave. It's really a ironic kind of thing as I can't fathom how I allowed my Daughter to convert me back to sipping SB's coffee, after I gave up on the Caramel Macchiato many years ago. Well, now it's a treat, weakness decaf, with Coconut Milk & Agave & I too can enjoy SB once again. & only when I'm rolling with my Daughter, as I'll stick my juices & smoothies in the interim. I did enjoy seeing G's face while my Daughter used her European SB App...the young schooling the young, love it! This location is not the closest one to BU's campus, yet it's perfectly situated across the mega Target store if you need a shot of something to help you shop. The store was very tidy & I really enjoy seeing the enormous community black boards giving out the daily happenings. One may not be camera ready...at least they are barista ready.

Doesn't serve regular bagels, and doesn't give you any way to know that other than making you wait in line.

I went with two scoops, black raspberry and brownie chocolate, and the brownie was killer. Rich, chocolatey, and totally worth standing outside in 30 degree weather to eat it. I devoured it without hesitation. There were so many great flavor options, and my friends all found something they loved too. It felt like one of those classic, must-stop dessert spots. Cold, delicious, and just the right amount of chaotic fun... it was wicked good.

There was plenty of seating inside and we had no trouble finding an open spot to sit down and enjoy our ice cream. There also wasn't a line which was really nice! My boyfriend got the mint chip in a waffle cone, and I got the salted caramel cookies n creme in a cup with sprinkles on it. While I do usually prefer my ice cream order to my boyfriends....i do have to admit that I liked his more. Don't skip the waffle cone like I did. Definitely a great stop to add to your day in boston! The flavors are always great, and there's seasonal flavors which rotate that are always fun to try.

We came for dinner and I got the turkey and brie sandwich. The brie melted in your mouth and paired perfectly with the crunchy vegetables and turkey in the sandwich. There was also a layer of fruit jam which created a salty sweet combination that was delicious. I also shared a warm custard bread pudding for dessert with a friend (be aware that you have to order this 30 minutes ahead as they bake it fresh!) which was so yummy - it was quite sweet but gooey and a lovely mixture of caramel flavors that paired nicely with the vanilla gelato. Prices are on the higher side but align with the attention that is paid to each plate! They have a super cute bookstore next to the cafe which is fun to browse. The set-up is within three stories of a house and the decor/design inside is very cozy - definitely worth checking out. On the third floor children's section there is a toy train that periodically circles the top of the room which is a fun touch too!

The wonderful waitress, Sabrina, saved this from being a one star review. First the food. You pay $15 on the kids menu for literally a scrambled egg on an unbuttered piece of toast. Nothing else on the plate. The $24 breakfast is two scrambled eggs on white toast with a few cherry tomorrows on top and a side of small meatball-looking turkey sausages. I was shocked, but since I was with my child, I didn't want to say a thing. There is absolutely NOTHING on this menu worth the cost or experience. Also, they do not pour the tea and if you ask for milk (typically served with dark teas) the waiter gives you impatient side-eye. The cafe has everything, EVERYTHING which could really make it a spectacular experience, and I can say that I will never go again or recommend. Get a muffin and coffee/tea at Tatte or Flour Bakery and skip this cafe and go straight to the book store. The bookstore is a joy.
