Fresh Corn & Avocado Farro Bowl
    Mosa H.

Best salad I've ever had. Refreshing, crisp, savory, sweet, juicy, creamy- the fresh corn and avocado farro bowl has it all. Super busy on a Saturday at lunchtime. May recommend for takeaway items only because it was very hard to find seating. Ended up eating my salad standing up.

I had to check out this trendy, aesthetic café while I was visiting Boston. It lives up to the hype. Since it was a pretty humid that day, I ordered the iced black sesame latte along with the pistachio tart. The sesame latte was one of the most unique lattes I've ever had. The pistachio tart had the perfect balance of nuttiness and sweetness without being overpowering, the coffee and pastry were basically a meal on their own and very filling. This Charles St location is on the smaller side, but the sidewalk patio is such has a beautiful vibe with influencers filming content and people reading books with their coffee and pastry. It's directly across from the iconic Beacon Hill Books & Cafe, making it a perfect stop while exploring Beacon Hill. Service is self-serve, but everything was quick and efficient, and we didn't have to wait in any long lines. Overall, 10/10 vibes. I'd absolutely come back just for the latte + vibes.

Tatte Bakery is one of the beloved bakery cafes in Boston! Their food selection is excellent - great sandwiches, salads, desserts and drinks. It's always busy and lively in the cafe, so expect a line and some wait time for food. Worth the visit!

Saw this place all over TikTok and wanted to try it during my trip here! We didn't have to wait very long on a Wednesday afternoon. I ordered the Tatte house coffee iced. I'm a big coffee drinker & I couldn't even finish the drink, the flavors together were so contrasting. My friend got a matcha which didn't taste high quality & was very milky.

Walking through Beacon Hill and decided to grab some coffee and a pastry. We enjoyed the Strawberry Turnover, Halva Tea Cake, and Monkey Bread and added the Honey Halva Latte and Mocha. Amazingly good.

We walked by Tatte so many times on our visit and decided to stop in our last day. I was so glad I did but bummed I didn't try it sooner so I could make multiple trips. I loved loved loved the black sesame latte and muesli. The homemade muesli with yogurt and fresh fruit was delicious and so light. I felt less guilty ordering a morning bun. The hubby had the croque which was served differently in a croissant with a bechamel. He can't say no to a donut if it looks and tastes as delicious as Tatte's, tasting with the brioche dough and strawberry filling. What a tease. We took a Halva chocolate chip cookie to go and ate it at the airport as we waited to depart. So long Boston but we'll be back with Tatte being the first stop.

Loved this cute place! Came back here twice during my stay. I was here for work and wanted to explore the area. This place provided a great selection of hot beverages and breakfast items to fuel me up for my walks. It is busy, don't let it intimidate you and keep you from going in. The line moves faced, and I found both days people eat and leave so I was able to sit right away. Service was efficient, and friendly. I did ask for my sandwich to be cut the first time I went when the food runner brought my sandwich... which she quickly said "no". So uh I guess they don't cut sandwiches. lol. I still went bam the next day and had another delicious meal. Go give it a try! Enjoy!

Stopped here for a sweet treat on a snowy day. I've been to other locations but not this one. It's always busy inside which is a good sign. Today I just got a cheesecake cup which was delicious. It's rich and creamy and served in a cute little cup. They also serve breakfast, lunch and drinks. We luckily found seating despite how packed it was. It's in a central location in Beacon Hill right in the middle of everything on the main drag. Line also goes quickly despite how daunting it may seem.

    Tomato & mozzarella flatbread

Like a Panera with slightly fancier vibes and a more interesting menu. I got a slice of the tomato & mozzarella flatbread, which also came with some pesto. I appreciated the thickness of the bread. It was tasty, with both the tomato and pesto tasting fresh. I highly recommend getting it warmed up. I was less of a fan of the sparkling matcha lemonade. It was fine and refreshing, but I did yearn for some sweetness and wished I'd added some sugar or simple syrup to it. Like Panera, the food is kind of overpriced. My flatbread was 6-something dollars, and the lemonade was somewhere between 5 and 6 dollars. The staff was friendly. An employee was very nice about me bumping into him (sorry!). The cafe was packed, and that seems to be the case with every Tatte location.

Had the best coffee I had on the trip. Pistachio latte! The breakfast sandwich was perfect. Clean restaurant& friendly staff

My favorite place to go!!! Staff is the best :). Coffee and many other drinks, yummy treats or full meals can be found here. No toxic ingredients! Right now the shop is small. They will be expanding soon. The Charles Street shop is my favorite. It has outdoor seating too. It's in the heart of Beacon Hill, surrounded by old Boston history found right inside the Charles Street Meeting House, part of the Underground Railroad.

Pineapple Passionfruit Matcha Bombe Passionfruit Krembo (GF) Chocolate chip Halva Chocolate Chunk Cup - Crumbs Cheesecake
    Ashley H.

We stopped by this bakery after hanging around the area for some quick treats. It's a small place so it was super crowded but service was quick. The pastries were so pretty that I had to order a couple to try. I had the passion fruit krembo, the pineapple passion fruit matcha mousse, crumbs cheesecake in a cup, and a chocolate chip cookie. All of them were just not it...not even the chocolate chip cookie...It was my first time trying a krembo so I'm not sure if I'm just not a krembo person but this dessert, I had to toss. The matcha cake and mousse part of the pineapple passion fruit matcha mousse was good but maybe the pairing of the fruits just didn't work for me. The person who packed my pastries gave me two small single looking boxes and asked if I had everything - so I asked if the krembo, cheesecake and matcha mousse was in there and he said yes. So I said then that would be everything. The boxes looked so small that I did not think it could fit all 3 pastries inside so I opened it to look and notice the krembo missing. I had to go back to the counter to ask for my krembo but come on, how can you ask me if I have everything and then say yes when I list all the pastries I've ordered, but it's not actually there.

The smell of bacon was too good to keep moving past it and we decided to head inside. Best happy accident!! Any place that has staff wearing shirts that say "Stoked for yolks" and has an array of pig decor- jackpot! My husband got a turkey and I did a ruby melt; SO GOOD! I perused the menu, and the breakfast options all looked incredible! If you find yourself on this end of Tremont and you smell amazing bacon, follow your nose to Mike and Patty's - you will not be disappointed! Also, staff was super friendly! There's a small park with shaded benches about 2 blocks away (Elliot Norton Park) which is a great place to sit down and devour the food. I ordered the Mission Breakfast Burrito and it was delicious. As of August 2026, the website lists the burrito as $14, but the price on the in-person menu was $16. I would give the burrito 4 out of 5 stars because of the way it was wrapped - about a third of the burrito was just egg and cheese and the toppings (avocado, red onion, hash browns, salsa verde, crema) were crammed on the other side of the burrito. If there was a way for the burrito to be wrapped so all the ingredients were more evenly distributed - this would easily be a 5/5 breakfast burrito. One random detail that stuck out to me was that their drinks in their refrigerator were very cold - no lukewarm sodas here! I would come back here to try their signature "Fancy" sandwich. Overall, this is a very solid breakfast spot in Boston!

Won't go back. Wish I had pictures, sorry. I wasn't thinking about a review. After a 15/20 minute wait, in an effort to seat us quickly, they sat us at a table that was wet, with water, and sticky from what was presumably the last table's syrup. There were 2 open, used, nips of syrup on the table that they hadn't seen or bothering to pick up. The ambiance/decor was very confusing, a lot of colors and patterns. It wasn't quirky (I've been to quirky done well), it was bordering on scatterbrained? I joked that the place was meant to be visually confusing so that you wouldn't see the lack of cleanliness. We asked for napkins to wipe our table and we were given napkins to clean it ourselves. I mean sure it was what we had asked for but when I asked in the past, someone came over with a rag and cleaner and cleaned it for us so I was a little underwhelmed with that one. Also, the table was visibly not ready because my partner noticed some hesitation in the guy before he sat us and instead of saying, "wait let me get someone to clean it for you" he sat us anyway. The entire placed smelled like a mix of dirty water and wet dog. In all fairness we should've gotten up and walked out but the restaurant was packed, so we were assuming the food must be good and we were hungry. The first two appetizer plates were got were dirty and my boyfriend's silverware. We asked for new ones. The second two were also not exactly clean but not as bad as the first. We opted to eat our appetizer from the plate it came on. We ordered the Some Like it Tot. It was cool, nothing to write home about. Expected it to be more crunchy (they are tater tots after all). I ordered the mimosa flight. Only one of the drinks had any semblance of alcohol in it. They were... oddly not good? Like not bad, but not great. The flavors on the menu sounded like they should've been great together but what served me was disappointing. I got the cookie monster pancakes. Maybe 2 stars. Very mid and uninspired. Unimpressed. The pancakes were middle of the road. Not great not bed. Best thing about this place were the nips of maple syrup. My boyfriend ordered the Monster breakfast. Also mid. The home fries were not well seasoned. Will not be returning. I'm assuming they need to pay their staff better or hire ones who care or can cook. Our server was kind though.
