This Starbucks location is the same SB setup minus the barista (more common in San Francisco) where the cafe offers all menu items available on apps but service is pick-up only. There's no barista at the counter to take walk-in orders. All baristas are in the "side room" preparing online orders. In other words, it's a grab and go, so nothing displaying or tables for seating rather order on apps, look at the queue display board and pick up at-the-counter service. The crowd begins to form by 7:30AM, worser on weekdays. This location shares the same location with Panda Express and two other businesses with less than 30 parking spaces. Hence, parking is a congested during peak hours. The SB is a smaller space but very clean, bright and sleek. The only area "community" is the poster board on the left side of the store posting local events, thank you notes or light holiday decorations, if applicable. The barista is nice and service is fast (look at time approximate on app). It appears there are 3 baristas at the corner station preparing drinks and drinks are brought out to counter when ready. This is a weekend hotspot for joggers and walkers meeting up friends, including myself, grab a coffee for a "walk and talk". This Starbucks location is convenient to many "entrances" into the Yorba Linda and Santa Ana trail paths. Many will head toward the closest pathway leading into the Yorba Linda Riverbed trail...others will drive 5 minutes toward other lots to enter the trails. read more

Seems like this is now my Go to weekly Starbucks. Walking my city trail for a good 4 miles. Otw back. A mama friend of mine would have our usual afternoon Starbucks treat to cool us off. The baristas are all so friendly here. Our last visit, I did a mobile order for a mango dragonfruit refresher lemonade for a friend. Once received, my friend realize it didn't taste like the lemonade version and a bit water down. She went in and informed the barista. The barista gentleman who made it, apologize and informed her. It's his 1st day there, He did forget the lemonade on the drink order, it was a mango Dragonfruit refresher, not lemonade version. Made her a new one and said, it's ok. Keep the incorrect one or dispose of it. Whatever you'd like. Really nice gesture. Seems like they're training a few new baristas weekly. Last time was Thanked for the wait and being patience. They had a new barista they were also training back there. Please be kind & patient. There's a Order status screen where it displays the name of the orders and status of your drink. Once your drink is ready. There's a READY next to your name. This is my 1st Pick Up mobile ordering store I've gone to. Love the concept. This Starbucks location is doing an absolute superb job! On Thanksgiving I was running in to pick-up and had looked for my name and as it should have been ready I didn't see it and completely had and uh-oh moment and realized I accidentally sent my order to the Starbs over on village center and Lauren had caught me just as I was going to exit and rush over to go get it, she asked for my name and how she could help. I said I'm sorry I think I sent it to the wrong location, she then asked what I had ordered and said let me help you, I'll make you're order right now and in thanking her so much for her kindness and I even said you don't have to do all the customizations just so it could be not a bother to them and she said don't worry about it, I want to give you exactly what you ordered. It was just the kindest thing especially on a morning that was busy and chaotic on my end and I'm sure on theirs, but she still took the time to help me out of the pickle. Welcome to the neighborhood Starbucks! You're going to give Peet's a run for their money! I stopped in today to the very high tech, very clean and very new "Pick-up only" Starbucks today and what an easy concept. This is not a typical Starbucks; there are no chairs or tables. I'm pretty sure I read a sign that said there is no bathroom for customers. There is, however, a giant screen that said my name and that my order was ready when I walked in. And there was a couple sweet people at the front that greeted me and handed me my order. I was in and out in about 1.5 minutes and I bet it could have been quicker but my 3 year-old was so impressed with the "pretty Starbucks", he was a little hard to maneuver out of there. You may remember this location as being home to The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf before COVID killed it. This was a nightmare of a parking lot when that was here as there is just too much traffic and too little parking for all of the stores. But with this new quick service Starbucks, I didn't have a lick of issue with parking this morning. There were tons of spots right in front and with my quick arrival/departure I left my open spot pretty quickly. Now who knows what will happen when this Starbucks gets more traction, but for now, for me a total win. I'll be back! read more

This Starbucks is so EFFICIENT & convenient! It's a mobile order store but if you don't have the app, a sales associate can help you navigate. I remember when this location was a small coffee bean & tea leaf, parking was impossible. But today on a Sunday afternoon, there is plenty of parking in the small parking lot! I liked how clean the store looked, there wasn't a lot of clutter and lots of natural colors / sunlight. It gave me typical Starbucks vibes without all the extra commotion. Also! It was fairly quiet as there was only 2 other guests inside with me. Sera helped me out today & they were extremely welcoming and helpful! This Starbucks is a hit and miss. I keep trying To give them a second and third chance, since this is really close to my house, and use my app regularly, and when it says a drink will be ready at a certain time they never fail to disappoint! They're always running behind and saying I'm sorry. My daughter uses the app more than I do and often times will run late to school. I've decided this week I will go somewhere else. There's not a lot of parking and very difficult to get in and out but we always seem to manage and are patient. But when the app says our drink will be ready at a certain time we make sure we're there and we're always waiting about 10 minutes late. Sorry the service here has fallen short! It's great if you're not in a hurry or don't care about time, but if you don't want to be 10 minutes delayed then go somewhere else. read more

Apparently they don't accommodate walk ins. They will make your order in line with all the online orders that come through first. Came in the morning and they said it would take 10-15 minutes just to make my drink since they have other app orders to make first. Extremely disappointed, we ordered 3 lattes and they were all made wrong. One of our lattes is missing almost 2 inches of coffee and the other 2 lattes we ordered with no foam and they were made with a lot of foam & each cup is only filled half way plus all . Unfortunately I didn't notice until I got home & it was too late to call them because they were closed. Since I've never used the app before, I was assisted by Alyssa who helped me set up the app and got me to order the new apple crisp macchiato, which is now my favorite! I like that it's a grab and go location since I know it will remain clean and not be filled with some of the weirdos you normally see at a Starbucks cafe. 10/10 for location, convenience and customer service. Ok! Maybe I'm late to the game, but when I first walked in I thought oops I entered the lobby of a clinic lol! I thought maybe I entered the wrong door, but this is Starbucks Pickup Store. No menu signs, no display of coffees, syrup bottles, nor food display case one would traditionally expect to see. It's minimalism at its finest! Just an LED screen that shows the status of your order. If you don't have the app, there are friendly baristas like Sera who are there to take your order. I am one of the few that doesn't like that this is mobile ordering only. I hate adding a lot of apps on my phone. I have gone in and ordered in person at this location but this last time I was told I needed to order thru the app in the future, although they would help me this one time. My order was done quickly and this particular Starbucks is very clean and sharp looking with decor. I will just need to go to other Starbucks (or Peet's or Bodhi's located close by) for my future orders. PS. I love that they give away used coffee grounds for gardening. read more
