This location runs as smooth as syrup pouring over your favorite pancakes when Scotty is running the drive through window. He is as nice a person as you are ever going to meet! Great hire Starbucks and good gracious don't ever lose him! Food is always warmed to perfection, coffee always done right and their drivethru window is fast! After reading Hailey P.'s review on Teapressa in Arcadia I had been craving a delicious London Fog. When my husband arrived home we took a trip to Starbucks and he ordered the brand spankin new' cold foam cappuccino and I of course, ordered the London Fog. Both drinks were equally delicious and I adore the new cups for the Cold Cappuccinos! This is my first time coming to this Starbucks and it was a great time! I mobile ordered 2 specialty lattes with add ins and they were perfect! My best friend was also a manager of a Starbucks, so I have rather high standards of the drinks, service, etc. The drive-thru has plenty of space and the seating area is one of my faves. There are at least 14 spots to sit with outlets or more and their outdoor seating area is one of the largest I ever remember seeing at a Starbucks. Well, I quit drinking coffee for a while trying to cut back on caffeine but now in 2014 I find that somehow that monkey is on my back again. Anyway, I mostly go to this Starbucks location since it is very close to my house right on my way to work. I usually use the drive thru and I will say that even when there is a long line it moves really fast. Everyone is very friendly and they always get my order right. I also love that they put in the little green plug that keeps your coffee from spilling even without me having to ask for it. I still can't give them 5 stars because the reality is that Starbucks coffee is just not that good. But like most suburbanites, this is my most convenient option so I just go with it. I also think their food has gotten even worse after the recent menu changes; I am speaking specifically of their baked goods. I just can't stand it how they call those square shaped muffins of theirs scones. Go to a real bakery and find out what a scone is actually supposed to taste like and you'll see what I mean. read more

My pet peeve proves to be universal. Not at just 1 or 2 stores. I'll order a coffee. The barista asks if I need room for cream. They leave room for me, I then go to the condiment stand to put sweetener and cream in and THERES NO CREAM ON THE STAND! Ask if the customer needs something then just don't provide it. DUMB. This store did accommodate me when I went back to the counter. But I've seen really dumb ways to fix the issue. Like pour almost an entire short cup of half and half then bend it to me. I end up using maybe 3 tablespoons and hand the rest back. Where's their cost savings in that ? I'd love to be a Starbucks secret shopper. read more

The service here sucks. My husband and I decided to go in since there was no one there. I stood at the counter waiting patiently to be recognized while the 3 workers did whatever they were doing and the one guy kept taking orders from the drive through. About 2 min the boy says I will be right with you and then takes 3 more orders from the drive through. I told my husband we should have went through the drive thru for faster service. So he finally takes my order and then the wait for the drink was even longer. Poor customer service will not be going back to this one. They were all too busy conversing with one another. When the drink was done it was made poorly. I paid for a venti and got a grande filled drink in a venti cup instead. read more

Okay, I get a starbucks pretty much every day. The same thing EVERYDAY. I had to go to chandler for a job and i needed my starbucks fix so i went into this one. everyone was nice and friendly and i think it is a pretty new starbucks. They made my drink completely wrong so i politely went over and told them it didn't taste the same as my every day drink. She was nice to try and fix it but all she did was put it in the blender again and made it more watery. I tasted it again and then told her it just still wasnt the same. She got a little snippy and said that thats how its made and didnt care after that. So i went to a starbucks near by and asked if they could make a new one and it was exactly how its supposed to be made. read more

I'll chime in and give this location a ratings boost. The main thing they have going for them is their drive-thru. They always seem to move people through really quickly. The other location down on Chandler Ave always has a much longer line. They have a nice patio and lots of places to sit inside. I have never had a poorly made mocha here and the staff has always been very friendly. I have never had an issue with service when going through the drive-thru and the few times I have gone in they were equally pleasant and efficient. Not sure what all the hate is for. If you are on Ray this is a pretty great location. read more

I have been to several locations in Phoenix looking for the perfect one. I have deemed this one to be the perfect store for me. The chairs are comfortable! If I could buy the chairs I would. Reminds me of the comfort Starbucks provided at home before the remodel. Anyway, this one has never been too busy and seems like people who need to get work finished come to this store. There are plenty of outlets and the comfort is outstanding. I don't drink caffeine or sugar, so I get two things. Passion tea with sugar free vanilla and skinny hot cocoa. I have ordered both at this location and NOT once have they gotten my order wrong. I am impressed. So now to become the leader of check-ins at this location! read more

Firstly, I have to say he people working here are very pleasant and upbeat. However, I come to this Starbucks about every Friday morning at 5am so it isn't busy. I use my mobile app so i should be able to just run in and pick it up. However this is never the case. What happens EVERY time is this, I walk up to the pick up station and the worker asks if I have a mobile order, I say yes and they say "ok it'll be just a few mins". Really?! I ordered from my house it should be waiting especially since it's 5AM! I order from the store on Ray and mc clintock and my drink is ALWAYS waiting for me no matter how busy they are. This Starbucks at Ray and Rural is where I go whenever I need to get some work done. There are wall outlets that are available on literally 3 out of 4 walls. It's hard to 'not' sit by one. The bar seating against the window is nice if you don't want to be distracted but gets hot when the sun comes through. The shades don't really help. The people here are very nice, and I haven't really had a lot of issues. I used to get the cafe latte and cappuccino in a ceramic mug. Now that I know how much sugar those drinks automatically come with (they are made with a sweetened 'coffee base', not real brewed espresso) I just get a regular coffee. This place can get busy, but I've never had trouble finding a seat with an outlet. There is some nice outdoor seating, a drive through, and plenty of parking. Restrooms are big and the place is clean. The baristas jump right into cleaning when they don't have customers. The only problem I have had is with my reusable cup. I bought one of those $2.00 reusable plastic cups with the Starbucks logo but on more than one occasion they put my drink in a paper cup instead. And then dump it into my plastic cup when they realize their mistake. Dudes. That totally defeats the purpose! They need to pay better attention, but can get pretty swamped. They are human so will make mistakes. They have a new baked goods provider. I haven't actually had any of the new items yet but I like that they are smaller. We eat too much fatty, sugary stuff as it is. Portion shrinking is a good thing :) Also, no high fructose corn syrup here! read more

Great service. I came on a nice warm day, the place was a Lil busy and the staff was nice. Great Almond croissants and chocolate croissants. The drive through is a Lil slow sometimes but it's nice inside so if you have some extra time, come inside to buy your drink and sit down. read more

Friendly staff and large location with a mixture of padded chairs, tables and counters. The problem is in the afternoons the sun makes this location hot and uncomfortable if you try to sit anywhere in the half of the store on the west side building due to the sun. They need to add something to shade the windows from the sun outside or darker shades. Also lowering the AC temperature would help. Hot, hot, hot! Everyone tried to move to the east side of the building but not enough space. read more

I stop by to get a caramel macchiato, was in the drive thru. Got my coffe and drove away. About a block down the road I take a sip and it was black coffee so I turn the car around went back to the drive-thru let them know what happened they said they realized it once somebody else came up and they were handing them the wrong coffee so they gave me the right coffee and gave me a $5 courtesy discount card for my next cup of coffee. They handled the situation with Grace and I drove away a happy customer and will return, mistakes do happen to everyone but it's the way you handle them that matters. read more
