Absolute worst location on attentive, slow, young and rude. My coffee had caramel dripping down the side from it and she handed it to me finger sticky and out didn't bother to clean it off. Gave me my breakfast sandwich with no bag and no napkins and didn't ask if I needed condiments took forever to bring me condiments and I still had to ask for a bag. read more

Starting with the good, drive thru service was friendly and my mobile order was ready when I arrived. The bad, every item we ordered. Vanilla latte was watered down, like there was no coffee at all. Im not a strong coffee drinker, so when I say watered down, it's pretty bad. The breakfast sandwich, which we had at another location and was quoted as the best sandwich ever was quoted here as the sadest sandwich ever. Great customer service here. Everyone is very upbeat and friendly. The bathrooms are clean. The music is a great vibe! They did not have area specific cups to take back to Cali though.... then it happened... my order is started with "I would like to have light ice, I would like to have it with Mocca or Caramel, and I would like it sweet". When I got my order it was full fledge full of ice and it was bitter. I went back in to Request they take some ice out and fill with coffee I was told no. I didn't want to be wasteful so I walked out. My husband said "what's all the ice? Go back in". So I went back in and asked for it to be fixed. The smiles went away and the attitude appeared. Stopped here on the way to a work meeting. Conveniently located off of I-77 on Arrowood Road. Staff was helpful and friendly. They made my iced matcha latte quickly and I was back out the door. Plenty of seating inside and a large counter to order and wait for your order. Would definitely stop through again if I'm in the area. Give them a try! read more

Don't use the drive thru. Ordered, watched a barista make my drink and sit it on the counter by the register. It was 10 min before someone greeted me, took my money and gave me my drink. No apologies, no friendliness and they were slow. Someone came to the window at the 5 min mark and turned their back to me to have a conversation with a coworker. The customer service here is terrible !! Today I ordered an ice white mocha, when I received my order it had hair between the lid and the cup. After I noticed I went inside ask the rep at the register to remake my drink because of the hair issue. Her name was Tamara I believe she did not apologize had me waiting 2/3 minutes did not see the urge to start remaking my drink or to apologize. After waiting I asked her how long it would take she advised me to ask the girls at the end to remake it. Her whole response felt like she did not want to be bother. Do not go to this site, I would not recommend. The picture of the second drink was how they remade my drink smh it looks watered down not enough cold foam. I would never spend another penny here!!!!! My rating is 3.5 stars. I have been to this Starbucks a couple of times so far this trip. This one has a drive-thru. The first time visiting this store, my friend insisted on visiting the store after placing a mobile order. I indicated that you can pick up your mobile order at the drive-thru. After all, I do all the time. As she went to visit the washroom, I went over to pick up our order. My iced black tea was ready. I had ordered a grande, but got a venti. The barista indicated that my friend's order, a jade citrus mint tea, was unavailable. She asked whether mint majesty was fine. That's my favourite tea at Starbucks. I said that I'd have to ask her once she is out of the washroom. Moments later, another barista came over to explain the whole thing to me. Perhaps they should talk to each other! I love the mugs available for purchase. I wouldn't mind getting one featuring Charlotte. Ten minutes later, I spoke to my friend about her order. She was fine with mint majesty, so I relayed the news to the barista and her order was done. Today, I went back with the same friend and our other friend whom arrived last night. I drove through the drive-thru and picked up our order. Again, my friend ordered the jade citrus mint tea and this store was out of it. Mint majesty was substituted instead. Service is prompt and friendly here. There is plenty of parking, as it shares the same lot as Jack in the Box. (100) read more

Plenty of comfortable seating, both tables and chairs, and comfortable lounge chairs. This is my husband's favorite hang out and he goes to Starbucks at least every day. Except for the loud blasting music which I think we could do without , it's a fun place. We usually get the turkey bacon sandwich if we pop in for breakfast, so good piping hot. read more

The customer service I have experienced since I have been going to this location for over a year has been fair but as of today I don't think I will go back. Due to not having menu options I wanted also the young lady was rude asking what did I want her to do like as if I was bothering her when I ask for $0.10 off for my cup which is not a big deal but she was rude about it. So once I did receive my cup it spilled in my vehicle due to the top not being closed... This Starbucks is located near the Arrowwood exit (1B) just east of I-77 beside a Jack In the Box. If you're going north on I-77 towards Charlotte, this Starbucks is the closest one I could find near a highway exit that is a standalone building. I was looking to drop in for the sole purpose of getting the Charlotte You Are Here collection mugs which I collect of course. They have the new Been There series as well although I'm not interesting in starting that collection. My wife per usual gets her coffee and since getting 3 scones gets a bit of a discount she went along with that as well since we were in for a bit of a drive. This Starbucks has a really wide open counter and for a standalone building there doesn't really seem to be that much interior seating. It appears there's only a single 2 seat table outside as well. Of course the property as a foot print is surrounded by a drive through so there's less space outside as well as there's ample parking as well. Because of that this seems more of a "to go" type place rather than a hang out for 4 hours and plug in my electronics type of Starbucks. read more

Floored, shocked and amazed! First off, this location is easily accessed off the interstate. Then, the SBUX team member was super friendly when ordering through the drive thru, THEN she had was super apologetic for my wait due to staffing shortages. She took the time to get to know me. Hands down, the BEST customer service experience compared to All SBUX locations that I have EVER visited. Cherry on top was that my drink tasted great and was made per my specifications!! read more

This week I was displaced from my home and had to stay in a hotel unexpectedly for several days. I went to this Starbucks each morning before 7 AM and the employees at this location were very pleasant. They made sure that they asked how I was doing and made small talk as we exchanged money for the drink. My order was prepared perfectly and I have no complaints. I'm not sure if they're having an off-day or if they haven't properly trained the people who take orders. After many hours in the car driving from Green/Akron, OH on our way to Charleston, SC, I decided to run through the drive-thru of Starbucks so I can stay awake. It was about 6am. I ordered an Iced Americano with a splash of heavy cream & 4 Splendas, as well as the Bacon & Gruyere Sous Vide Egg Bites, and a "Puppuccino" for my doggy Panda. The only thing they got right was the "Puppuccino" and that's because it's merely whipped cream in a teeny cup. My Iced Americano did not have the splash of heavy cream. So she took it back through the drive-thru window and must've dumped out some of my caffeinated portion because the drink came back with so much heavy cream in it that it was WHITE and left a fatty film on my tongue from one sip. Yuck! I moved onto the egg bites because I had been fasting all day yesterday and all night. Time to break my fast with one of my favorite things to eat! They sadly didn't have any sriracha to put on them, but no matter, they're still delicious. That is, unless they give you the "Denver Omelet" type egg bites (Ham, Cheddar, and Peppers). You know when you eat or drink something and you're expecting something entirely different, so it shocks you and and annoys you? Yeah. That happened to me. And, honestly, the ham, cheddar, and peppers egg bites aren't all that good. Too bad I didn't have sriracha to cover the taste. Did I drive back and return the food and drink? No. I still need to drive another 3 hours to an appointment/meeting in Charleston, SC and I don't have the spare time to ask Starbucks to fix the mistakes. Lucky for me, I do have the time to write up this review while filling up my gas tank. I will not coming to this location ever again on my travels! (They get two stars because although the poor girl at the drive-thru couldn't pour water from a boot if the directions were on the bottom, she was quite friendly, and they gave my doggy a "Puppuccino"). read more

Prime location right off the Interstate with an easy drive-through. A small seating area inside. The team working the counter during the morning rush was excellent. Organized, speedy, efficient and polite, I'd love to see more *$ crews like this. They were on top of the usual custom coffee orders and still managed to make chit-chat with the walk-in customers (especially the ladies... hmmm...) while taking money. Not the best location if you're looking to hang out with your laptop and suck up some free wifi, but a good place to meet a friend for a coffee or get one to go. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks in Charlotte for a couple reasons: 1. They often have samples and I LOVE samples!! 2. They are really nice and always friendly. 3. This Starbucks used to be painfully slow, even with mobile order, and very inconsistent with drinks. However, they have stepped it up lately!!! Orders are ready in a timely manner and the employees actually seem happy to be there! The store is cleaner than normal and Merch is finally stocked appropriately. My only gripe is that they continue to move to mobile order pick up often. It seems like every time I walk in it's in a different place! Reviews here are all over the place. I'm thinking it has to do with the time of day. I go every single morning and every single morning my coffee is ready when I arrive. I mobile order and never have any issues. My coffee orders are always correct and hot. I use the reward program so I cash in on some free coffees! The staff there in the morning is the absolute best! They are friendly, attentive and always make an effort. I'm keeping them around for my normal morning routine!! read more

For some reason we always stop at this Starbucks on our way to the Convention Center. Maybe we hit too many Starbucks in the US. This one is clean, but the women's bathroom door never locks when I'm there. You'd think they would have had that fixed by now. Food and drink orders are always correct and come out timely. Cat is amazing!! She recommended me a drink that turned out to be delicious. Reading the comments I can understand how people can have bad experiences, it happens in customer service BUT at least I can say that the new Manager at this location is very serious in making this store a top quality place to grab a delicious cup of specialized beverage and move on with your day. A fine place, I think. After a dizzying chain of chance events and extenuating circumstances, I somehow found myself washing up at this Starbucks for lunch on a gentle spring Sunday afternoon -- and it proved to be a good experience. The barista was friendly and professional, and my order came quickly and correctly. From there, it was off to the sunbathed patio, where I had myself a pleasant sort-of picnic, kept company by my fellow Starbucks'ers and a good book -- my kind of Zen, as it were. All in all: no problems (plus a clean men's room!). I left with a smile. So, a word of thanks, to everyone who runs this place, without whom my oddly wonderful outing would not have happened. Before church, I pre-ordered my coffee via the app. ((Which I love by the way)) I was told it would be 14 minutes till it was ready. Once I arrived to the Arrowood Rd Starbucks location (1719 Forest Pine Dr., Charlotte, NC), the drink was ready but it was made incorrectly. The young lady made my Caramel Macchiato cold instead of hot. Once she made the drink the final product was not presentable. Because I was short on time, I didn't have the young lady to remake the drink. So, I took the drink but wasn't pleased. Once I got in the car I took photos and sent it to Starbucks Twitter account. I would give this location 4 stars but I don't know why the bathroom is always a mess. Paper on the floor and the sink always dirty. So that is a no no for a Starbucks. Big wood box. Looks nice from a far, but someone didn't think through the entire situation. That lovely material quality appears to be fraying at the edges due to a lack of thought in the detailing and how it would stand up to the weather in Charlotte.
