    Venti mocha cookie crumble

I'm happy this Starbucks is finally on normal hours again! Since this is the closest drive thru location I continue to come here but I promise you my drink (white mocha) NEVER taste the same ugh! Some days great some days terrible and most days just ok. This is regardless of short or long line. Also I understand there is a national shortage on different things but for the price we pay for a Starbucks drink, if you don't have any sleeves available but I ordered a hot drink I expect to receive my drink double cupped or at the least a napkin since it is a hot drink. Unfortunately you won't get that here and for that reason I had to give them 3 stars only.

Starbucks on South Tryon in Charlotte NC

I can still appreciate this Starbucks for what it is - a smaller location with the full service of goodies that Starbucks offers. Cooler of pastries and sandwiches and drinks plus the baristas are making your caffeine-infused beverages. This location does have a drive through but the corners are tight and the space is limited. It is on a very busy stretch of one of the main arteries into Charlotte so expect busy traffic. Inside the store (they do have a few tables and seats outside in the shade), I found it to be quite noisy with the espresso machines and the staff making up orders. If you're planning to have a quick business meeting or perhaps study/read, I think this is probably not the Starbucks for you. [Review 10886 overall, 658 of 2019.]

Keto friendly iced chai tea latte

So this is just your run off the mill Starbucks as far as I could tell. This was my first Starbucks stop since starting keto and let's just say I definitely confused the barista. If you want a low carb chai tea latte, you can order: Short Chai Tea Latte using 2 Chai brewed tea bags, 2 shots heavy whipping cream, and 2 pumps sugar-free cinnamon dolce. 206 calories, 4g net carbs, 1g protein, 22g fat. If you want it to be an iced chai, apparently it needs to be a tall, not a short. This Starbucks also doesn't do pumps if heavy whipping cream, but another barista said that was just a normal pour. They were very accommodating and my barista even double checked after I got my order to make sure they got it right. I definitely appreciated them accommodating such a custom order!

I always take the wrong turn when I'm heading here. This store is located in the same strip mall as Don Pedro and Game Stop. The people here are very friendly, but unlike the Starbucks on Arrowood they don't give free samples. Tip: They both have a drive-thru window.

My toddlers loved the macaroons. I tried the chai tea latte. It was made pretty quickly and tasted great. The chocolate Chip cookie was absolutely perfect. It was soft in the middle with just a little bit crunch on the edges. I also had the club sandwich. It was much bigger than I expected and very filling. The indoor playground was awesome. My kiddos had a great time. My only request is for a little more seating for parents. There were several of us who were just standing around.

Mrs. K. and I stopped in after our shop and settled in with two excellent coffees and a piece of cranberry loaf, which turned out to be just the right companion for a quiet late morning break. The space is calm, comfortable, and set up in a way that makes it easy to linger, and I could see myself opening a laptop here for an hour or two without feeling rushed. The seating is arranged with enough breathing room that conversations don't echo, and the overall atmosphere leans more toward neighborhood café than anything corporate. It's the kind of place where you can hear the espresso machine but not the world outside, which is exactly what you want when you're trying to enjoy a cup without distraction. Everything we had was well prepared. Parking is plentiful, though I imagine the lot fills quickly before and after services, so timing might matter if that's a concern. For us, it was an easy in and out, and the visit felt like a small discovery in a part of Charlotte that doesn't have many independent coffee options. We left feeling grateful to have found a spot that delivers good coffee, quiet seating, and a sense of local character in Steele Creek. [Review 24 of 2026 - 4524 in North Carolina - 25215 overall]

The last few times the coffee tasted burnt - okay, I can give them the benefit of the doubt they were just having a bad day. The bragles started tasting more microwaved, thrown inside a horrible tinfoil wrap so it's soggy and chewy and boiling hot. This last visit sealed the deal - I'll never go back and I hope you consider your options before going. My husband went to pick us up 2 large coffees with oatmilk (I have a dairy intolerance and whole milk KILLS me, I'm also breastfeeding my 2 month old daughter who has a dairy intolerance as well) and a turkey havarti bragle. It was $25!!!! I have 1/4 of my coffee and a few bites of bagel before I can tell something isn't right. The coffee was definitely made with whole milk, but even more than that I was VIOLENTLY ill. My husband calls the store to talk with a manager about the coffee being made wrong. They said "sorry, there's not a manager here, we can't tell if the coffee was made with whole milk or oatmilk because we all collectively make the coffees together so there's no way to tell, come back tomorrow to get a new coffee" I spent the day in the bathroom - again with a newborn and 2 toddlers who need their mom at 100%. I call the next day hoping to speak to a manager, I get the same "there's no manager on duty" I told them I thought I had food poisoning and wanted a refund and to speak with someone. The kid suggested I go to "biggby dot com and fill out a complaint because that would be quicker". I told him I'd prefer he write down my information because I'm a mom of 3 and I have food poisoning - I don't need to hunt down an email to speak to someone about getting a refund. (Hindsight he never shared my information because I never got a call) I ended up going online to fill out a complaint. Got the full run around, the owner reached out and apologized - asking questions about the visit and then radio silence for 5 days. I reached back out appalled it had taken almost a week to hear back. The owner got an attitude - saying they had a family emergency and they would refund me. TLDR: go literally anywhere else for coffee, you'll save money and you won't get the wrong type of milk in your coffee.

It definitely felt like a spot with a lot of regulars, which is always nice to see, and the overall vibe was very family-oriented and welcoming. One person handled both my order and preparation, and he was kind and friendly, especially once I started the conversation. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and loved that I could choose the bread. I went with the croissant, and it was a great choice. The sandwich was toasted, really good and filling. For my drink, I had the Cinnamon Toast latte/Americano Macchiato with oat milk, and it was delicious. Flavorful without being overly sweet and very well balanced. A couple small things worth noting: when I tried to use the restroom, both were locked, which was a little inconvenient. Also, the napkins available were the small coffee-style ones, and I definitely needed a few more for the sandwich. Overall, this was a solid stop with good food, a comforting atmosphere, and friendly service. If I'm in the area again, I'd come back to try more items on the menu.

We also got three 3-star muffins to go ... and they were excellent even the next day. All in all, this was a 4 star stop for us in the morning.
