I decided to stop by Starbucks to see if they had any fun flavors available - they did - Snickerdoodle! It was tasty, but at $8.12 for a "small" Medium, it is not worth it. I remembered why I never go there. With a dollar tip added since it's not the staff's fault, over $9 is way to much for such a small size. Actually, I don't know if there's a size big enough for that price! LoL There are many better options out there for a lot less money. Once again though, the drive-thru worker was awesome :0)

This is a sad review. First, not clean and neat. That is a first for this location. It is 656pm on a Tuesday and they have one seated customer and two of us are walking in. She is picking up and I want to place an order. Unfortunately, there are three teenagers deeply involved in their conversations and we are waiting for them to turn around and acknowledge us while the one Barista is working the drive-thru and producing orders by himself. I asked them if they would not mind me interrupting them for just a moment to place an order. The cute little besties did not understand the sarcasm. The male cashier responded no problem, they can wait, to the two girls who giggled, I ordered my coffee and moved down the counter to the one working team member, the tall barista who looked at us with a smile. He quickly processed the drive-thru orders then made our drinks and told us to have a great evening. We both commented on his great service and said that we would remind ourselves to only use the drive-thru in the future. Big shout to the young man who was keeping the store running while his black apron wearing team members were chatting and relaxing.

We got here about 10:45 am on a Sunday. The parking lot is a bit small. Not sure if it was because there were about 20 cars in line at the drive thru or because the was just a tight fit. We went in, and there were about 15 people waiting for their order. I noticed the bakery case was pretty empty except for a couple desserts. The employee at the register was nice enough but not overly. We purchased a pumpkin cold brew, iced chai latte, and two breakfast sandwiches all for $23. I was reminded why I don't frequent Starbucks anymore. This was a convenience purchase. Overall, decent.

This location is very clean and the baristas are so friendly! I ordered the mocha cookie frappe and the Double- Smoked Bacon, Cheddar and Cheese Sandwich' Yum! The frappe was delicious and the perfect summer refresher for a quick pick me up! The sandwich, the flavors just meshed together perfectly! Happy coffee lovers spot here!

Amazing leadership from Jennifer the manager of the Chesapeake Square location! She always has a great staff and she always makes things right! She is a great roll model for her team! Great Location too!

As always, I am checking in to another Starbucks b/c my lovely fiancé needs her caffeine. Gotta have it! This cafe is along the main strip of Taylor Road, so be sure to make that left/right into the plaza (across from Five Guys). Parking is open to anyone b/c there are multiple stores in the vicinity that use the same parking. The restaurant has plenty of outdoor seating on the patio. (I have not been inside yet due to the fact I only been twice thru the drive thru). The drive thru can be a hassle for others parked of the line gets super long. Both times at Starbucks, my experiences were very pleasant. Ordering was quick as always. The first outing was a little long winded due to the fact a customer was being very rude/bothersome and holding up the line. Barista Alex was tending to this customer and provided great customer service through it all. And continue his quality service even when I reached him to cash out! Thanks for another great experience and great coffee!!

Their regular pour coffee is also good. They are very friendly, but as it is very popular, it normally takes a while to receive your food/drinks. As for food, they have a lot of great options. My son loves their scones. I wouldn't recommend their avocado toast, as the avocado is packaged and not fresh. It doesn't have a nice flavor.

It has a very clean minimal decor vibe but is still very welcoming and comfortable. There are large tables, sofas, a nice bar and arm chairs to gather in and the music is loud enough to mute conversations but not so loud as to disturb the vibe. The menu is simple. Coffees, teas seasonal drinks, sandwiches and pastries. My husband and I were taking a quick break from. Hopping and decided on drinks and a pastry. We ordered the grinch matcha latte, a gingerbread latte and a spinach feta pastry. Omg both of us loved the grinch. I've been searching for a matcha I could enjoy and this is it! All the right notes: not too sweet, creamy and the matcha well blended in the milk-think no grainy residue at the end. If I'm in the matcha mood I'm coming to get this. The grinch was so good I think it made the gingerbread latte less exciting but it was still delicious! The expresso was strong so for a non Coffee drinker like me it wasn't my favorite but my husband thought it was great. The pastry came out hot and was delicious. Everything came out fairly fast so even with the crowd we were there less than 30 minutes. I want to come back and try more drinks and a salad that seems up my alley. Please check out this locals establishment. You won't be disappointed!!

The menu is pretty large and has breakfast all day, sandwiches, tons of drinks, and some pastries. Staff were very friendly and easily answered questions about the menu and made some recommendations for my mom and I who were between a few items. We had some nice breakfast sandwiches here (my mom's was DELICIOUS) and some iced teas that we loved. I chose the HORSEY HAM-WICH + tomato and lettuce but, I wasn't impressed. The ham was cold and it wasn't toasted though I probably could've asked for that... My mom chose the HANGOVER HELPER after I said I was looking it over. It consisted of a fried egg, house-smoked pastrami, swiss, russian dressing, on a toasted everything bagel. It was warm, filling, and just what I wish I ordered! Would happily come back in an instant. Really pleasant experience and relaxed vibes. Loved the little toddler area with a kitchen and some other goodies to entertain the kiddos. I've been now to the Smithfield Cure and the Norfolk as well as this one and this might be my favorite location. Norfolk is very nice - but, this one is more charming.

Date of Visit: Tuesday, March 3…read more Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones you aren't looking for. I was actually on my way to Chelsea Bakehouse when I happened upon Vessel, and I am so glad I did. The Atmosphere: A Coffee Lover's Dream The second I walked in, I was hooked--they have their own roaster right there in the shop. There's something special about a small business that roasts its own beans rather than pulling bags off a shelf. You can tell they take the craft seriously, and as someone who has been diving deep into the world of small-batch roasting lately, it was an immediate win. The Order: Off-Menu Customization I decided to go off-script. I saw a Brown Sugar Espresso on the menu but was really in the mood for something chilled, so I asked for a Brown Sugar Cold Brew. The barista (I didn't catch her name, unfortunately!) was fantastic. She was incredibly informative about their coffee profiles and didn't hesitate to customize my drink. We even chatted about the roasting process--I'm really hoping they follow through with the idea of hosting classes on different beans and roasting techniques in the future! The Verdict The Taste: The cold brew itself was excellent. The brown sugar flavor was subtle and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. It let the quality of the coffee shine through. The Kick: Whatever they're roasting works. That cold brew hit the spot and kept me alert and productive for the rest of the day. Vessel was well worth the detour. If you're a fan of fresh, house-roasted beans and staff who actually know their stuff, this is a must-visit. I'll definitely be returning.

I learned quite a bit that was unexpected. For example they sent Norfolk tap water to France for testing and it received great ratings on its cleanliness and lack of particulates. After the class I spoke to the staff before ordering a drink. They close at 2 and it was almost that time so they were out of the drink I initially wanted to try. Instead I tried a blueberry lime espresso tonic which was different and I enjoyed it. (I have even started making them at home). Overall I recommend this shop it has a nice open feel and positive vibe. They also sell their own coffee blends, they roast beans in house and make their own syrups from scratch for the drinks.

It's incredibly spacious with high ceilings, tons of natural light, and lots of beautiful details everywhere you look. The front patio is perfect for people watching or just enjoying some fresh air, with lots of space between tables (no awkward eavesdropping here). Inside, the vibe is super chill. There were quite a few people working on laptops, but it didn't feel stuffy or too quiet ... just a comfortable, low-key buzz that makes you want to stay a while. I started off with an iced americano topped with strawberry cold foam. The foam itself was a little thicker than I expected (it was more "whipped cream" than "cold foam"), but honestly, it was delicious. I'd totally order it again. The flavor combination is chef's kiss. A little sweet, a little tangy, and it adds something fun to a classic drink. For food, I went all in on the Box Car Sandwich. If you love grilled cheese, you HAVE to try this. Oozy pepperjack and cheddar, crispy bacon, tomato, avocado, all sandwiched between slices of perfect sourdough. And the special sauce on the side? I could have eaten it with a spoon. I have no idea what's in it, but I want a bottle to take home. I can't wait to come back here and give their espresso martini a try, and their pepperoni swirl pastry looked 10/10.
