Thank you for helping me survive these long workdays. I have lived half a century and have visited Starbucks locations in many different countries. I have even been to the original Starbucks in Seattle. Of course, as many people know, that location feels more like a tourist destination than just a regular Starbucks. To me, Starbucks is more than just coffee. It is about the comfort of the space, and I believe every location has its own unique vibe. Personally, some Starbucks locations around Arcadia feel a little uncomfortable to me, but this Chino location makes me feel completely different. The reason I am writing this long review is because I wanted to take a moment to think again about how satisfied I am with this Starbucks in chino. I visit this location about four times a week. Sometimes I wake up very early and have even stopped by around 4:30 AM. No matter what time I visit, the staff always greet us with bright smiles and warm energy. In a way, that small greeting gives comfort to people starting a long day. That is what I believe the Starbucks vibe should be. It is not just a coffee shop. It is a space where people can feel comfortable, receive comfort, and share a little warmth through coffee. For me, that place is this Starbucks in Chino. This is a very professional Starbucks. Robert is a super polite, smiling, and courteous barista. Came in to get my ice coffee and he was very helpful in helping me use my points to get it for free, The ice coffee is always on point. It's Starbucks. So it's gonna be strong and consistent. Not going to taste like your mom and pop coffee shop down the street but it's still solid. About 8 tables inside. Located in the city of Chino this Starbucks does not have a drive-through. Had to park the car and get out for once. The inside of the store is small with very limited seating. The bathroom was also temporarily unavailable which was a bummer. Ordered my new favorite drink which is the Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha! Get the largest size which is a Vent I just wish they would put more lavender in my drink. read more

This has to be one of the worst Starbucks I have been to. Today I witnessed the Batista tell a lady she could not use the restroom because she was not a customer. Turns out the lady had bought a coffee but was sitting outside. Both Baristas proceeded to talk about the customer once she walked away for a good 3 minutes. There was a male Batista who came in while I was there. He was very rude to customers and ordered the other employees to change the music. The music was as extremely inappropriate and vulgar. Not at all appropriate for a Starbucks that has families going in and out. It was so distracting that I had to leave. It was my first time at this location. It looked like they were having a fun event outside but they were still setting up when I got there in the morning. It is in a busy plaza! Be prepared to look for parking. There's a large sitting area outside with nice clean patio. People were nice and friendly. I like that the online orders and in stores orders were separated which kept things less crowded and easy to see what drink is yours. I went in today, 1/9/24 at about 3:20pm. There were two baristas, a male and a female. I did not get their names, but the male was oddly rude. I received my food items, but I wanted sriracha sauce, therefore I waited patiently for the male to acknowledge me.. he saw me standing there but did not ask if I needed something until I said "excuse me, may I get sriracha please" he proceeded to work and came back throwing multiple packets on the counter. AILEEN... the rudest excuse of an employee I've ever came across. Made zero eye contact, rolled her eyes and acted like taking my order was so much work. I came in to get 2 drinks for my boyfriend and I. AMBER helped me out and was so kind and sweet as she took my order. I made the mistake in ordering a hot and cold drink when I meant to order 2 hot drinks. I came back and AMBER offered to replace it at no cost. I thought that was so sweet but since I made the mistake i felt I should've paid for it. As AMBER is ringing me up she asks again if I'm sure I want to pay for it because she could replace it. You'd think being a partner would get you at least decent service. Placed a mobile order and it said it would be ready for pick up at 1:42, came in and the order wasn't ready, fine no problem. I sat down and waited for my order to be ready. The food was done first and what a shock when I picked up my sandwiches all of them were falling apart. I attempted to put it back together without burning myself but wow at least make the effort. The thing that led me to leave this Yelp review was the drinks. Two very simple drinks to make, a brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso and an iced matcha. The iced matcha was a sad excuse for a drink. I mean just look at the picture. The barista could've at least shaken the soy milk a bit to avoid it clumping at the bottom and the drink wasn't even filled. I stood and waiting by the mobile pick up to try and have it remade but the barista kept saying "I'll be right with you" and just kept making drinks.The foam was nearly half the drink, three sips and it was empty. I've been working in the Chino/Chino Hills area for about 5 years now and I love coming to this Starbucks. The service is ALWAYS (literally) super friendly and the drinks come out quickly and as-ordered. This store is particularly well-maintained and is usually well-stocked with their grab and go food and beverage items. The last time I was here (2/14/2023) I ordered a grande Emperor's Clouds and Mist tea and if they could serve it to me at a cooler, more drinkable temperature since I didn't have a lot of time but I wanted to enjoy my tea and do some journaling while I was in the store. They were super gracious and my tea was served at the temperature for me to enjoy. I also had an experience here not long ago where I was hoping to purchase an a la carte' banana but they informed me that those have been discontinued, to my dismay. The barista that was serving me offered me a pre-packaged container of fresh blueberries to purchase instead, which was exactly what I needed! I look forward to returning to this store. read more

Since COVID started, this Starbucks went from a little hangout spot to a COFFEE MACHINE. You would not BELIEVE the capitalism that is going on here. Drinks are going out FAST. One time I even ordered a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and I noticed that I already had a charge for the drink on my bank account, and, oh, look at that, the drink is already in my hand? BOOM. Late night coffee needed after a filling dinner in the same shopping center. Not very busy the late time we arrived. Went straight to the cashier and immediately placed our orders. Wasn't really looking for a bite to eat, but glanced over at the case and it was practically empty. My friend order a tall iced coffee and a grande cold brew vanilla sweet cream. Drinks were made in minutes. We headed out to the patio to chat and catch up. The patio seating is nice and clean, and at this time in the evening really nice. After stirring my drink, all I really tasted was more of the cream and no sweet vanilla. Last time I ordered this, it was sweeter and a little creamier. I was too lazy to go back to have them add more vanilla and cream. Parking was still a bit hectic for the evening. The parking area close to Dickey's had more available parking spots. I needed to use the restroom, but they blocked it with the condiment cart. Grrrr! Why are they blocking the restroom?! What if guests need to use it? It's still operating hours!
