It's a busy location, but I've been lucky enough to have good service every visit. There is a drive through which can sometimes get crazy, and it closes at 9:30pm, but the inside remains open until 11pm. My first time through, I was pretty bummed because I thought I had the time wrong. It's the beginning of November and they have the Christmas blend beans out, which is also pretty exciting!

Grande salted caramel hot chocolate (only 1 shot of mocha).

I've been to this Starbucks location a few times now and I love it. I'm not a coffee drinker so I appreciate their wild selection of teas. I normally stick to a green tea or a herbal variation. Their pastries are yummy and I often get the lemon pound cake. Ample seating here to get some work or homework done. What else can I say? Get over here :) EDIT from 5 to 4 stars - I almost forgot to mention that the drive thru line is horrible. I never want to enter the drive thru because I would rather walk into Starbucks but the only way to enter is through the drive thru. I think the exit line can easily be made into an entrance and exit. Please fix this Starbucks.

I love this crochet art !!

Jazz playlist is top notch. There are plenty of seats and plugs, with a variety of large and small tables. I like how the layout puts a wall between the workspace and the brew station so the toaster is somewhat muffled. I love the art work. A special shoutout to whoever made the crochet art and made the chalkboard art. You've got a talent ! Four out of five stars because last time I came here it was so busy I couldn't even park and the drive thru line was out to the street, but now that I'm in with a seat, I'm mad I didn't wait it out last time! I'll be here for awhile (:

They do not fill cups here. Waste of your money to only receive half your order. Terrible

The guy working the window today was extremely rude and oddly passive aggressive. It's just coffee pal, relax.

It's the only Albanian cafe in Ohio. I visited after hearing about this cafe from friends. Shortly thereafter it really trended on Instagram. AMBIANCE: The cafe is simple and spacious. There are two dining rooms that can serve various customers - high tables for solo guests, tables for two or large parties. Many guests prefer the patio. The location is on a picturesque street with a lot of trees and nature. It's a relaxing experience. In many ways it's just an average cafe - large windows, exposed brick walls, and coffee aroma. I other ways, it's incredibly authentic. Guests watch Albanian soccer or linger on the patio. The combination of soccer and cafe feels very cool and very Balkan. At the heart of the place is a wall with hand carved Albanian art and well recognized Albanian eagle. It's interesting to gaze at these fragments of culture and appreciate the artistry. FOOD: I was surprised by the very budget-friendly bill. I purchased Turkish coffee and two bureks totaling about $12. I did not feel as though Turkish coffee was very authentic - too many grounds, and too acidic. It also did not have the usual awakening effect that I was going for. Bureks are traditional Balkan pastries with cheese and spinach. I selected two varieties and liked them. They were gold, savory, and just right for a light lunch. It was explained to me that bureks are very popular in Albania. The rest of the menu featured various coffees, wine, and small sweet bites. SERVICE: You can start your experience at this cafe by ordering at the counter, sitting down, and paying at the end. The service was great for a casual cafe. The cafe employee was attentive to my needs, checked on small things like my sugar needs. It was evident that most guests are regulars reconnecting with their culture. I enjoyed the bureks, the hospitality, and the location. I had a lovely little lunch at the cafe. I'd probably stop at some point during the summer to enjoy the patio and other coffee selections.

Phoenix Coffee on Madison Ave. in Lakewood is a local coffee shop that also serves tea (green tea,…read moreblack tea, Rooibos tea, Matcha, etc). This coffee shop has become my go-to spot when I want to work on my laptop since I'm a remote worker. TEA/COFFEE/PASTRIES -- I normally opt for the Rooibos tea, a herbal red tea from South Africa. I sometimes also get a cup of black tea. For a sweet treat, I like their blueberry muffin cookie which is a muffin but with crunchy edges like a cookie. The actual name of it is a Blueberry Muffin Top ($4). My friend Mike loves getting a hot Latte Breve which is coffee with half and half. I'm not a coffee drinker but they have all your traditional coffee drinks. I've tried an iced Matcha before with Oat Milk which was fine/not bad - the Matcha could have been stronger. They offer bagels, cookies, muffins, and muffin tops (cookie base and a muffin top consistency). SEATING -- There are 8 small table and chairs plus 2 small sofa's at the entrance. Although this is a small coffee shop, it is never packed with people. If there are a lot of people inside, it only lasts for 2-3 hours then it's almost empty again. So I love coming here because I know that I can always find a seat. Weekends may be busier though but I tend to just come during the week. PLANTS -- The sell plants which are placed at the back of the coffee shop. The plants are provided by Sixth City Cycles which is a bike and plant shop. SERVICE -- Customer service is always friendly. I have never encountered any issues. The only slight issue here is the Air Conditioner is always up high so it gets cold quickly. In addition, the music can sometimes be too loud. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 148/250 total reviews in 2026 - 989 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 26 June 2026

I tried both the Promised Land Latte (cinnamon and honey) and the seasonal special Cowboy Cold Brew (cold brew with milk and sarsaparilla syrup). The Promised Land Latte was good, not too sweet, a little thin on the mouthfeel but overall good flavor. The Cowboy Cold Brew was such a treat: a combination I have never tried, but it worked surprisingly well. It was like a root beer and a cold brew were mixed together for a refreshing drink with very familiar yet unique flavor. It was also such a treat when I turned the cup around and saw the "yeehaw" written on it :-) I also tried the everything bagel with honey brie walnut cream cheese, and whoever is supplying Cleveland with these specialty cream cheeses knows what they're doing! I enjoyed the honey brie walnut cream cheese so much that I made a third trip to this location, just to get a side of it to put it on extra pita I had laying around. What also makes this location special is the location! I enjoyed my latte inside the Arcade, and the beautiful architecture and interior design were so incredible. There is also the main area (center part where you order) that has tables and chairs which is situated when you first walk in and then there is a back area towards the left that can be used as well. So, there are 2 back sections. DRINKS -- They sell matcha, tea, and coffee. I ordered a cup of Storehouse black tea with honey ($4 price, I think). I think the employee added too much honey in my tea because my stomach started hurting a little so I couldn't finish it but that's okay. I later got a mug of warm water which helped soothe my stomach. The cup of tea though is quite expensive but I like to support local businesses (Storehouse Tea is a Cleveland business). FOOD -- I also ordered a Rosemary bagel ($4) with a side of butter (.50 cents). The Rosemary bagel was delicious which isn't surprising because the owners make their own bagels. If you work remote then this coffee shop is for you as they have free wifi and plenty of tables to use. They have lots of chairs and tables laid out in three different sections. The music isn't as loud like most coffee shops in the area so I appreciated that. The back area towards the right only has 2 outlets available but thankfully, I got one to use. If you come with a laptop, make sure your battery is charged or find another seat where there is an outlet. TIP -- They sell packaged coffee to go, some packaged biscuit mix, and cute notebooks.
