We were a group of 20 and they handled us just perfect. Food and drinks came out in perfect timing. The owner was so nice and accommodating to our big group of 20. My BIL brought a cake for his daughter's impromptu birthday and the owner was so nice, he got us plates and forks and helped us light the candles. I love the simplicity of the food menu, makes everything easier. Of the three, the hot honey is the best. There is a large assortment of dessert items and croissants, but we just came for the drinks and food. Highly recommend!

Providentially, we found around the corner @lighthousecoffeemc! After we had a most wonderful, redemptive experience I had to learn more about the name. This is a nonprofit cafe, helping teens that have aged out of the foster system. LOVE. THIS. IDEA. I did not realize how much that cup of Mexican Mocha was going to a good cause! Heartwarming. When we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed openly. The vibe was superchill. Very spacious. I would suggest they add few real potted plants to warm up the place. When we ordered, she cautioned it was spicy; it was great. It was cool to see they sold baked goods from a local small business @jensscones. Photodocumented the experience with more details. Sadly, downtown Mt. Clemens is only metered street or lot parking; saw the parking enforcer walking around and checking meters. The owner is very kind and informative! The staff are also super nice. The prices are a bit high in my opinion however I understand being that they are specialty drinks and such! The only thing to point out is that there are no paper towels in the bathroom. My friend likes to use paper towels to open the door to prevent germs getting on her hands while exiting. I only suggest that there be paper towel in the bathroom. I recommend a visit to this place!

Just tastes like sweetened milk with bits of grassiness if I am being completely honest. To top it off, the customer service is terrible here. The barista couldn't even be bothered to smile or ask how you are doing. Almost felt like an inconvenience ordering from her. Ordered my drink for dine-in and I would rather just grab my drink myself than watch them set it down haphazardly on the tables. The ambiance is great and I see why it can be a great study spot, however, I can't justify the poor customer service and subpar drinks to come back here.
