They've done alot of work on the space and it looks great...and I know that their main focus is on the coffee, but we were not thrilled with the hot chocolate: it wasn't hot (merely warm-fish) and it wasn't very chocolate-y, either, and we were surprised that it wasn't better. Champagne Chocolates, just a block or so away, would have been a better choice for us...but we did enjoy the atmosphere and ambiance at Black Cat and we'll be back to sample their coffee on our next visit.

There was no milk in it and then I said well I'd like milk in my latte please she's like OK here and she poured some of the milk in and said I don't wanna overflow it . The only good thing about this place was the ambience was so cute but unfortunately because of this experience, I have no interest to go back or refer this place to anybody. This is a nonprofit cafe, helping teens that have aged out of the foster system. LOVE. THIS. IDEA. I did not realize how much that cup of Mexican Mocha was going to a good cause! Heartwarming.
