Service was fine as usual but I just didn't like the tea. I usually love their teas. The teavana comfort wellness tea was my favorite but it wasn't available today. I tried the Jade Mint which was described as having a citrus twist. It seemed like plain mint to me and I had added in one thing of stevia on my online app order. Nope. Plain mint tea. So today, I decided to get a late coffee & work on site at starbucks. While waiting for my drink, I overheard a Barista yell to the crew wash your hands as a reminder! Everyone, said thank you! It was pretty dope to hear the crew practicing good hygiene during COVID. Fast forward, I ordered a venti ice coco cloud macchiato and sat down to work. As I sipped on my drink, I realized that the cloud was not sweet and it took on the taste of another drink. Possibly because the container was not properly rinsed. The drink was remade, however, this time, the espresso was bitter and overpowered the entire drink. I decided I was going to try and tough it out due the store being extremely busy. As I was sitting, a barista walked up to me and requested that I wear my mask while I drank my coffee. I asked her how that was possible and she responded by saying to take it on and off until I was done. Now, if you are in the Columbus area, you know that businesses are allowing you to come in with your mask on and once you are seated you can partake in your food or beverage. Not wanting to argue, I placed my mask on, walked to the register, and requested a refund, which they did give. There's no sign postage that says you have to wear a mask while you drink or eat at this location. The only sign that is posted says you have to wear a mask to enter and order. I was 6ft from others and at my own table. Unfortunately, this ended up as an unpleasant experience. read more

The atmosphere was so fun and positive, and the staff really made the difference even when they had a never ending drive through line and mobile orders. I'm popping in here just to make a quick update on my previous review here. These days, if I'm going to stop by a Starbucks, this location is my go-to. They recently closed for a little while for renovations and I was able to swing through for my first visit since the change today. I stopped by specifically to get my first PSL of the season. Ahhhh yeahhh, it's always delicious, even with oat milk, which I always prefer. I was also able to finally try their Impossible breakfast sandwich and I was thoroughly impressed. You can hardly find a vegetarian breakfast sandwich that isn't just egg and cheese and I'm so glad they added this to their menu. I'll reiterate that they are always the fastest and the friendlist. The other one closest to here is off 5th ave and this location slays compared to them. Sure the access point is kinda weird but the service makes up for it tenfold. read more

I usually go to this Starbucks on olentangy when I'm feeling the need for something familiar and out of the house. I always have great service and interactions with the workers. I can always count on my typical order, skinny vanilla latte, to taste as expected and I sooo enjoy it. Today I decided to treat myself to a chocolate cake pop and OMG it was so good. Exactly what I needed today for a morning pick me up. I don't really go inside to order or pick up, so drive thru only. I was able to sneak in this morning with no wait in line, but it's not uncommon to see a line backed up to the road. read more

I pass by this location so many times but have never stopped by until today. It was around 11:45 ish when I came in. They were a lot of people studying inside and a handful of others outside as well. It seems to be a popular place. The drive thru line was also getting long as I was leaving. The girl at the register was really nice and smiley. She even asked if I wanted the chocolate chip cookie warmed! I had no idea that was even an option. Anyway, I ordered the peach tea lemonade sweetened and it was delicious! Personally my favourite Starbucks in the area (and probably top 2 in comparison to all the ones I've gone too). Everyone is always in great spirits and has just enough interaction without being over the top. They don't even a bat an eye if you're camping out there. I find that my drinks (even if I make super complicated) are the most consistently made here. It kind of sucks getting in/out of the parking lot because it's a busy street but nothing too crazy. I find that after renovations, even though there's less seats - it's muchhh easier to find an open spot when it's not exam season. read more

This is a fairly nice Starbucks location with a moderately spacious interior. It is tricky or impossible to get into, though, if you're heading south on Olentangy. The entrance into the north side of the parking lot is also narrow and poorly lit at night/early morning. The staff are friendly, and they very conveniently place mobile orders in a little tray on the counter so you can grab your order and go without having to wait to ask someone for it. That can make a huge difference in a time crunch. The location is usually moderately busy, but seating always seems to be available. read more

A medium sized Starbucks with pretty friendly staff! It's easy to get to if you're on the right side of the street but impossible otherwise. You'll also only be able to head right out of the store; a left turn is pretty much impossible. Inside it's your basic Starbucks. Staff are always very friendly, though. I always order ahead through the app. The order is placed to the side in a little tray. No need to wait for someone to get it from the back. Even so, they always thank me by name even when I grab and go. WiFi is available. Drink of choice is a venti iced coffee with sugar free cinnamon dolce syrup. A fairly good deal at $3.15 (though up from $2.95 just a few months ago - boo corporate overlords!) and sugar free (definitely check the nutrition information on their drinks. It's mind boggling how much sugar is in some of their beverages). The iced coffee is the best with half and half, but it's pretty decent event with low-fat milk (just not as creamy). The reduced fat turkey bacon sandwich is a warm and healthy breakfast choice. I also just discovered the chicken quinoa lunch bowl. Chicken breast, quinoa, black beans, greens, and a mild red Chile dressing. Pretty yummy, healthy, and high protein though not cheap at $7.95. A great use of a reward for us gold members, though. Download the app and register a Starbucks card! You'll start working toward gold status right away which gets you free items (anything on the menu!) after 125 points and free iced or hot coffee refills when you're in the store. read more

This Starbucks is just like any other; overpriced, overworked, crammed staff with no real professionalism or supervision. However the real reason why I'm posting here is to let local artists know DON'T ASK THIS ONE TO HELP WITH YOUR LOCAL SHOWS OR EVENTS because unlike some Starbucks they don't put up many local events. Which I understand, it's not the first time I've been refused by a chain like Starbucks, chains don't support local. No, the real reason why this starbucks is a dumpster fire filled with dog turds is because they threw away a couple of my colored printed fliers when they decided not to have my spicy wings family friendly comedy festival posted on their community board. The terrible awful manager didn't even give back those expensive fliers, she heartlessly threw them away, no wonder this Starbucks is trashy despite being in Grandview. This is one of my favorite spots in columbus! I'm not a coffee drinker but i love the bakery items and all of the different fruit drinks! Did you know that they have a blended menu (no coffee added) so the substitute will be milk! So I always order the strawberry refresher and iced Lemon loaf! OMG THE STAFF ARE ALWAYS NICE AND FRIENDLY! Now the traffic is a little ridiculous getting through the parking lot! For some reason people won't drive on one side so good luck getting to the drive through! Lol but the restrooms are always clean and there's even a place for you to sit outside and enjoy your coffee or juice. They are open 24 hours I do believe (don't quote me on that tho) but honestly stop by! The drinks are priced from 4.00 on up! They also have merchandise to purchase and DOWNLOAD THE APP!!! This Starbucks is pretty convenient for work. Because it is the same stuff at any other location, I am not too attached to it. There are many others with worse service so it's not the worst of these. It's a chain which sucks. The local coffee shops are all better so they will always be chosen before here. I do not like the chains and prefer the local shops. However, sometimes it's convenient for us so we will occasionally come here though. They also have a drive thru, which not all of them have. It makes it a little faster in the morning. There's so many of these idiot commuters it still can take a long time. It's the same customers not knowing what they want at the counter. They should have a line for idiots who haven't decided on their orders yet. It's the same at any location. The service is mostly good though. I will choose this Starbucks maybe when in a hurry. I am not a big review person but this is the best Starbucks in Columbus! Why? Simply put, every time I come in I watch and listen to the staff genuinely enjoying eachother's company and working efficiently. I have been in on mulitple occasions and witnessed the store manager, Andrew, take care of both his staff and his customers flawlessly. They are always friendly, fun, efficient and consistent. It is truly refreshing to see a work culture like the one that exists in this store. I can tell that they love their management and respect each other greatly. It is so refreshing as a customer and also motivates me in my leadership role while I am working in the cafe. It's so frustrating that there's basically nowhere to sit inside. I came to this location because you can stay inside til midnight which is so ideal for studying later, but you get there and there's nowhere to sit because the only 5 tables they have are already filled. Came in at 4pm on a Sunday and it was pretty slow but all the tables inside were full so I sat outside. Fast forward several hours to when the sun goes down and I still can't sit inside because the same people that were in there hours ago are still there. So now I'm forced to take my studying elsewhere. Literally what is even the point of opening your dining room that late if people can't even sit down??? Today, the customized order that I was trying to make wasn't able to be made over the app so I ordered inside. Since I'm used to ordering off the app, I haven't gotten the pleasure of ordering inside. The staff was so awesome! It was early in the morning, they were slammed and they were still so sweet and helpful. When I placed my order, one of the baristas suggested I try a similar drink because that would be able to be ordered through the app. Just all around good moods so early in the morning! As much as I love a good Starbucks, I just simply can't get attached to this location. Seating is nearly non-existent at this location sadly. Two seats in the entire building have charging ports and at all times of the day it's busy (between OSU Wex traffic and campus traffic). I would never schedule an interview or coffee date here. They do a kick-butt job at drive through and employees are always kind and approachable! PRO-TIP: If there is no seating and you are in dire need of a table, go across the street to the Starbucks inside Target as there's always seats and charging ports. Look; Starbucks is chain coffee. As far as black coffee goes; it's inevitably not going to be the best in the world. They get their beans from all over so they have to intentionally over-roast the beans to ensure a consistent flavor. If you want a truly delicious cup of black coffee, go somewhere other than Starbucks. That being said, the Lennox Starbucks does everything right. I have yet to come across any barista who is anything less than a true delight to interact with and they all know how to make a mean drink. They all field the "Ugh...I'm not sure. What's your favorite?" with flying colors by asking you leading questions to not only introduce you to new drinks but also ensure that you'll be pleased with the decision. Is the store a little small? Sure. Does it make up for it by being incredibly open and full of natural light? Definitely. And don't get me started about the patio. This is probably the best Starbucks patio I've come across in the city. Even though there can be some long lines; I go out of my way to go to this Starbucks because of the amazing people and the yummy drinks. read more

Very poor management, employees are not well trained regarding how to handle customer issues, store is not well maintained, looks dirty. I walked in with a mobile order which suppose to be ready 20 mins ago, I waited for 20 mins it's not ready. So the company failed to deliver the service i paid for. I told one of the employees that because of this I'm running late for work. Firstly, no apology, secondly, no solution. Lots of people around me are complaining too. I have had mixed experiences at this location. My drinks from here always taste amazing, but the waits are pretty frustrating. I made a mobile order, came in 5 mins after the app's estimated pickup time and then proceeded to have to wait a literal 20 more minutes. Somehow my drink got lost in the mixup and they remade it for me, staff was very apologetic which I appreciated. Today I accidentally ordered a creme frapp when I meant to order the caffeinated version of it. Called the store to see if they could do the caffeinated version and was told they don't have my order and that I was calling the wrong store. Went in 10 mins later and sure enough, there was my frapp waiting for me. read more

Nothing but love for this Starbucks. I was worried the long drive-thru lines would take a lifetime, but they always move very quickly. This is a great spot to sit and do homework. I have never had an issue with my drink order or any issues with this store in general. They often offer new drink samples and currently have a cute pumpkin set out for people to write what they are thankful for. The inside of the store is always clean and the staff is always friendly. STARBUCKS @ LENNOX....this store has maintained high quality, an awesome employee/ partner base and the renovations inside the store make it more welcoming and inviting than it once was. HORRIBLE SITUATION TRYING TO GET BACK OUT ON OLENTANGY SO THAT'S NOT FAVORABLE.... A window blind has been broken for honestly almost a year and never replaced. Clean typically but if not I find it understandable with that volume of customer traffic. I find that the store exhibits an employee culture that is sensitive to brand loyalty and I'm thankful. I've started going here more often because my work hours changed. For the most part I'm satisfied. I really love the blonde espresso and have been customizing every drink with it. Blonde double shot on ice is my go to for a quick energy burst. I also love the new teas. Obviously peach green tea is a classic, but the new guava and blueberry tea are also amazing. My only complaint with this location is that the night staff isnt up to par. I've had to wait 20 mins for a Mobile order after 10pm simply bc the ticket printed but they aren't paying attention to the orders coming off. They only focus on drive thru. I've also had wrong orders at night. A barista admitted to not using blonde espresso in my drink once. But I've also just had drinks taste wrong. I can tell when they use 1 shot and not 2. And when they purposely use more milk or cream to fill the cup....during the morning everything is great. But I'd avoid going here late night especially if you're in rush. . read more

Our national coffee conglomerate; you just can't seem to avoid her cries. The liberal in me forces me to succumb to paying for convenience, both monetarily and qualitatively. Starbucks is on every corner so regardless of the route I'm taking, rest assured I will come across a few dozen sbucks. I drive past this one multiple times a day, so its gravitational pull often attracts me. Two dark roasts please with room. "We're out, do you mind waiting". Yes I mind, this is a coffee shop, how are you out of coffee, there's 5 of you back there. But yes, I will wait, because I'm a liberal and need my caff-pow. All while knowing this blend will be particularly burnt and steaming. The Bacon Gouda sandwich, however, quiets my frustrations momentarily. Then my brief moment of calmness is ruined by whatever style music is playing on the brink of shattering my ear drums. I will say the beans are nice and shiny (burnt while roasting), the coffee and latte's are hot (burnt again), and the "barista's" are hard working (straight lie). This is my go-to Starbucks, partly due to location/convenience but also because they have a drive-through that's pretty fast, even when there's a long line! The baristas are also super friendly and very accommodating to requests. One time, I made a mistake when ordering my drink, and they fixed the mistake for me free of charge. The other day, a friend and I came here because we'd wanted to try out the birthday frappuccino, but didn't get a chance to do so during the promotion. They were willing to make it for us, and they even split our venti into two cups (per our request). Will definitely be coming back many, many more times in the future. read more
