Whenever I come here for my rounds of drinks, the crew is alway friendly and helpful. My drinks come out great and fairly quickly. It's a busy location so be understanding of how much the baristas have to do to get all the drive thru and walk in customers' orders filled. One barista in particular that gets my gold star is Megan. She always has a great attitude and is so friendly. Always gets my drink right! The place is clean, has good indoor seating and a nice outdoor patio. Plenty of parking too. read more

...Just had a wonderful wonderful experience w/a gal who helped me pick out my complimentary bday drink, helped me pick out a "lighter dark roast..." coffee (Cafe Verona, yum!), & I enjoyed the setting sun as I enjoyed my "VT Pecan Crunch Oat Latte" ...that I got decaf w/their new "pumpkin cold foam". (Yes, u can put cold foam on your hot drink... sort of in lieu of whip cream...) As someone with mobility issues... I sure appreciate the wide sidewalks all around the bldg, the bright & spacious seating as well as pickup areas... & the always spotless gender neutral bathrooms help assure that a bathroom is almost always avail And nice mix of music read more

I think people that complain about long waits at a Starbucks need to have a little bit more realistic expectations. When you've got a place doing walk-in orders, mobile orders, and a drive-thru, it's gonna be a bit of a wait. I've ordered from here a few times (all online orders) and each time the order has been correct! This time my husband and I got the spicy falafel pocket and the bacon gouda cheddar breakfast sandwich (no coffee this time). I appreciated that they updated the app when the order was ready because some locations are definitely bad about that! My only gripe is that the layout is funky which I feel like could be avoided. The counter to pick up your food and drinks is on one side of the store, and the napkins and straws on the other over by the entrance. A very odd setup when there is definitely room to put the napkins and straws near the pickup area. Overall I will always be a lover of Starbys! read more

I placed a mobile order for 2 breakfast sandwiches and waited 15 mins after the estimated ready time for them. Didn't get any apologies or sympathy for the long delay...didn't even get one of the sandwiches right. Awful experience I will try more local coffee shops next time. read more

Yikes! Scolding a customer simply standing and waiting for a drink... "We are terribly understaffed." I count twice as many Starbucks employees behind the counter as there are customers seated in the store. Just... NO. Literally THE WORST service. They keep hiring people that don't know how to keep up with when it's busy (or even not busy). Today I ordered two drinks at 7:12AM. Got there & waited inside. Was pretty obvious that I was waiting for a drink. More people come in & order at the front. The staff member asks everyone but me what their drink was. She continued to do so for about 15 minutes. My drinks were supposed to be done at 7:27. Originally when I ordered, it said it would be ready in 5-8 minutes. How is it possible it takes this long to make a cold brew that comes of a machine?! The girl didn't even ask me until about 7:30 what I ordered. So ridiculous! Starbucks, if you can't handle mobile order, maybe you need to get rid of it. read more

Inconsistent drinks. Had to get coffee from another coffee shop several times to make up for how badly my drinks were made on multiple occasions. Just not coming back at this point. It's too inconsistent and costing me double when they don't make the drink right and I'm no where near them to make them correct it. I can't necessarily taste hot coffee right when given in order to quality check every single cup. read more

Most of the workers are nice but a couple of them are bad. They don't know the policy or don't have people skills downright. Makes y experience just bad after buying coffee daily for the last 10 plus years, makes me not want to get coffee at all at this location. Do not do in store pick up I've never waited so long at a Starbucks for my food before. They have one person ringing up orders and making the food but three people making drinks. Should really be evening that out better. After waiting 20 minutes they didn't even give me my Sriracha. Feel bad for the individual on cash register and making the food while two other people just stood there not doing anything. read more

Why have a drive through if it takes more than 10 minutes to get a drink. I normally only run into this problem in the afternoons. I've noticed it's newer employees in the afternoons so maybe better staffing so this doesn't happen. read more

She should be promoted, and I hope Starbuck's never takes people like her for granted- for it is there unique individuality that Starbucks can offer such amazing service to begin with. When one door closes another opens. So goes the old saw. And as the Starbucks in Eagle Plaza location closed this new one, called the Riverside location, opened. The Plaza location was convenient to my house. But it was narrow and awkward inside, the parking lot could be miserable and it had no drive through when that was the thing devoutly to be wished. You know, those no makeup and bad hair days. So this new location is welcome for more space inside. Although no better parking, more of it but in a really awkward lot. Inside you'll find a pletohora of high backless stools at high communal table that almost no one wants to use unless last resort and paucity of standard height tables with regular chairs that are almost always the first choice of everyone who enters. What is with that in Starbuck's designs of late? End of rhetorical question musing. It also has a drive through. It also has more outdoor seating than the old location but the tables are packed like sardines in a can. Some of the same, friendly Plaza staff found their way here. There are some new people who are clearly in learning mode. And the entire store is in "newbie facility" shake out. So patience is in order while they get their footing. THIS N THAT: LOCATION NOTE: Near the new Eagle tennis club and just down the road from Perks of Life. If you'd rather frequent a locally owned coffee place, Perks is a good option to do that. read more

Now, as for this location.. I rarely stop, and when i do the service is reliably slow and there is always a HUGE line. People think I'm crazy for reviewing Starbucks since they're a chain, but let's be real, there are some good ones and bad ones and you just never know what you're getting. The store is bright and new and has a great outdoor patio for sitting. There is a mix of comfy chairs and tables so you can choose what you'd like and there are enough spaces that I haven't had a problem finding a place to sit. The employees here are really friendly. I feel like they actually go above and beyond in customer service. If you ask a question, they genuinely talk to you. I've seen them make kiddos frappuccinos and hand them out with big smiles. They also have taken my drink to my table for me while I was in the restroom, and I see them bring people their pastries all the time. They take the time to make everyone feel like they're a real guest in the store. The store is clean, they keep the floor tidy, and the music isn't overly loud. Bathrooms are well stocked, and they always have plenty of food available. Definitely recommend you check out this location. It's also close enough to the Eagle greenbelt you can head over for a walk, which is a bonus. read more

Coffee is amazing cause, well, Starbucks! This location is a great quite little hangout and has a drive through. It's a standard little Starbucks and love having it in the neighborhood. The downside is that a huge part of the coffee experience is a friendly face and quick little conversation. Whether getting your coffee through drive through, the inside register, or mobile pickup, 95% of the employees do not give you eye contact, don't greet you, and are usually pre-occupied with coworker conversations. Someone needs to send these workers (March 2020) through some sort of customer service training. It's very uncommon to experience such a lack of courtesy in Idaho. I have faith though and hope that the management here catch on to this and get this location up to Starbucks and Treasure Valley standards. read more

I frequently stop here and appreciate their social distancing and sanitation standards. I never order anything extra fancy, in winter it is a hot caramel macchiato with only one shot of espresso and this summer it has been the iced peach green tea. Their staff are nice but inconsistent about getting my orders correct. Today I ordered a peach green iced tea on my way out of town, (I went thru the drive-they), and there was no peach flavoring. I've been to this specific location a couple of times, and I've liked it just fine. The coffee is good, and the baristas are friendly. Today, I went in for a free drink with a coupon I earned. The girl behind the counter was super sweet! She helped me figure out what drink I wanted (I wasn't sure) and threw in all the extras since she knew it was free. When I picked it up, she said if I didn't love it they would make another one. The drink itself is delicious, obviously, but what stuck out was the phenomenal customer service! read more

What can you say about a Starbucks? Nice place to stop, convenient and clean restrooms and generally ok coffee. This SB is a brand new one in a brand new building. Inside has an array of seating from cushioned arm chairs to high stools. They also have a long, communal table with stools, but the attraction is plugs for the computers if you need juice for them. The equipment is new in several ways. First the POS machines print out sticky tags to go on your cups. No more writing your names on the cups. Second, it seems the coffee drinks have the coffee grounds metered out. Why do I think that? Because the two times we have had Americanos, they seem weaker and less flavorful than when done by human hands packing the grounds. In fact, the ground coffee seems better than the Americanos. Probably won't have them again there. Help is attentive and cordial. Seating is barely adequate during inclement WX as loungers seem to be taking up seats for long periods of time. read more

I think Starbucks and I need to part company. This latest visit to this location is just one of many lackluster experiences that I've had with this chain. Arrived here on a busy Saturday. Staff seemed in chaos. Cash register person wasn't sure how to input my gift card for my purchase. Bought coffee beans and asked that they be ground for a French press. This information was relayed to another worker who was multi-tasking at the window and counter. Asked the cash register person if she told him "French press" and she nodded. Took me a while to get my order. Got home and the coffee was ground to a fine powder. Tried using it in my French press and ended up with sludge in the bottom of my cup. Called and spoke with Tristan and shared the situation. His response: "well, bring it back, I'm 99% sure we'll redo your order." I said that if I'm making a return trip, I needed to be 100% sure that they would make a correction. He said, "I'm not sure who will be here so I can't say if they will agree to redo it." Whaaaat? You screw up my order, make me drive back to your store, and then you are "not sure" you can correct YOUR mistake?? This seems to be the way customer service is going and Starbucks is no different. They are getting too big and too busy and service is suffering. At least train your staff to deal with customers properly. I've purchased all my coffee at Starbucks since you opened your doors but there are just too many places that offer quality coffee products....so I think that I'll toddle off and try one of your competitors. read more

I come here all the time and I asked for a iced coffee with vanilla sweet cream foam, sweetener and caramel drizzle. I get the drink and it's just sweetner and caramel. So I go back in to add the sweet cream foam and they gave me a black coffee with foam no sweetener, no caramel, so I ask her to redo it and she puts sweet cream foam, sweeter, and no caramel. I shouldn't have to ask them to remake my drink 3 times when I just paid 5 dollars for a coffee and it's still not correct. read more

We came in late Tuesday night and the place was empty. The workers were nice and our drinks came out like they're supposed to.

They mess up my order every time I come through. I got an iced hazelnut mocha and they gave me the wrong size and added coconut milk. I also got a smoked chicken bacon panini and then they came out with some breakfast sandwich. Annoyed I spent $10 and got what I didn't order AT ALL. read more
