Sophia was fabulous! We were here on a Saturday morning and it was very busy. Just keep that in mind it's very busy on Saturday mornings. We had ordered one of the breakfast burritos, and waited a little while, then we found out that they were out of it. But, we were given a different sandwich and a recovery card to make up for it and we were delighted. We weren't in a rush anyway. Customer service is horrible here. They made my drink wrong and told me I ordered it wrong. Even if I did, why point it out? I wasn't being rude, I just asked to remake it. i come here all the time with my friends. today I had a really strange interaction with one of the workers. He was so extremely rude came up to my friends, and I told us that we were being disrespectful and I nicely apologize. Then I very nicely went up to the workers and asked for an extra base of açai, the girl looked at me weird and told her that I have to pay if I want it and I said that's all good. She then put a splash of açai in, and while I was waiting, the man that took my order was making snarky comments under his breath and telling me how rude and inconsiderate I was. he kept on trying to talk bad about me under his breath but perfectly loud enough for me to hear it. he was an older guy and had a beard. This is a Starbucks that looks like any other. I'm sure the coffee tastes the same. But that's not why I'm writing this review. This review is about health and safety only. I stopped by at 9:30 today, Wednesday. The young man at the register sneezed on his right arm, wiped his nose with his hand, continued on the register, sneezed again on his left arm, wiped his nose again on his hand, continued on the register. I'm about three customers back in the line, seeing all this. He helps each person, one by one, in front of me, taking credit card, handing out receipts, touching the kiosk. For me, it was just too much when he poured drip coffee, grabbing the lid and the cup with the two hands mentioned above. There was no washing of any hands in this. In a pre-Covid world, this would be yucky and wrong; now, it's dangerous and stupid. There are two ways you can look at this: it's one careless employee--or it's a lapse in management when it comes to instilling in staff the urgency of decent hygiene. In either case, it's appalling. Service is always bad! Everyone is in a mood. My work is nearby and I always need a coffee, but this Starbucks has bad customer service.

Ever since they've hired new staff at this Starbucks, it's gone down hill. The old staff were amazing at their job simply because they got it done. I don't care if you're a raging cunt, as long as my frappe tastes good I don't care. But now the new staff are not only raging cunts but they're bad at their jobs too. I will admit, sometimes they make drinks pretty quick but other times they're stuck talking to each other and not even bothering to complete an order. But sometimes it's not about the quickness, because today I ordered a frappe and it was prepared in no time, but the flavor was no where to be found. I felt like I was blended water and ice with chocolate chips. I don't know how you manage to make one of the most sugary drinks without flavor or sugar, but they found a way. read more

Normally I don't leave bad reviews, but the service is HORRIBLE! There are a couple managers who seem friendly, but the baristas don't acknowledge customers and as I was leaving, I said, "thank you, have a good day," and I was completely ignored. One was just on their phone. I understand being a barista is taxing and difficult, but it seems that welcoming customers in and making them feel comfortable is a part of the job. Today was my first time at this location. It's a little bit further of a drive for me and out of the way but Today I was meeting someone at 9am. This location was poppin! It was buzzin with people chitchattinng and enjoying their coffee and treats. Literally no tables available. However, there wasn't much of a line which was cool. After chatting for aa short moment with the person I was merting with, I walked right up to the cash register since there was no line. I was greeted by a friendly employee who imediately took my order. I got my normal grande blonde roast with nothiing in it. The employee kindly let me know that she had to brew a fresh batch and it would take three minutes. It was all good since I wasn't in a rush. Literally, three minutes later, I had my coffee in hand and I was walkiing out the door. Overall, clean store, friendly, quick employees, and delicious coffee. Great first time here! read more

This Starbucks is down the road from family, so I've frequented it for a late breakfast a fair amount over the years. It's your typical neighborhood Starbucks, nothing out of the ordinary. The Baristas are friendly and efficient, wait times do vary as it is normal for there to be only two people behind the counter, so if there's a sudden rush it may take a little longer. The store is clean and well organized, and they support community events with many flyers on the bulleted board. The outdoor seating is next to the creek/ fountain making it a relaxing place to sit for a spell, catch up with friends, or just spend some quality time with your favorite pup. read more

I love coming here early in the morning to smell the coffee and fresh air. It's nicer than most Starbucks and has a very peaceful outdoor seating area. A several weeks ago I was in line and realized that someone ahead of me in line was paying it forward...meaning, they paid for the person behind them, and that person paid for the person behind them, and that person paid for my coffee. I haven't had a bad experience so I can't say much besides that it fulfills your Starbucks needs. Decent lines at any time of the day, but never too long. Whoever thinks that the over extracted bitter-tasting crap they serve at starbucks is coffee should learn to understand and appreciate the luxury that coffee is. Any shot pulled at 8 seconds ristretto shouldn't be served to someone who pays, maybe just someone who doesn't. When you make that policy, to pull eight second shots, you loose all quality. Of course quality, in essence, comes from quality beans and roasts. This is something starbucks doesn't have and, even if they did have them, couldn't understand the complexities that coffee contains. What real barista's do is difficult and requires ceaseless practice and training. Starbucks is an insult to the art of coffee, and anybody who funds their monopolistic enterprise should be ashamed for insulting some of the most american traditions alive. read more

Starbucks El Dorado Hills on Francisco Drive almost refused service to me and my kids because I asked them to split the Venti non caffeine drink into 2 cups for my kids. They were pushing me to buy 2 talls because that is store policy. I started yelling and upset when they made a one time exception because other customers were in line. The barista made my drink wrong and left white mocha sitting at the bottom of my drink when I asked for her to shake it. She than got mad at me dumped my drink out instead of simply shaking it again and than remade my drink and it was worse than the first time. What disappoints me the most about this location is how good it used to be. This location used to be really convenient for me, and I frequented it all the time, but lately I avoid it at all costs. I'd honestly rather drive down to Folsom or the location in Town Center. I'll admit that I am used to the extremely fast service of all the Starbucks in San Francisco, where you can be in and out in under a minute sometimes, but this place is just awful. It seems that every time I've been to this location in the past 8 months it has taken a minimum of 6-8 minutes to get a drink. I'm not sure how everyone else feels about it, but that is just a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a drink. The baristas they have now are all quite unprofessional, and will sit there and socialize with one another when one of them should be making your drink. I literally waited over 5 minutes the last time I was in the store for the barista to stop her personal conversation with another customer before the even BEGAN making my drink. She was completely clueless as to the fact that I was sitting and waiting for my drink, then when she finally bothered to pay attention she noticed by empty drink cup sitting on the bar and had to ask the other employee what it was doing there! All the while, the barista who took my drink order could have easily stepped in and either made my drink, or just told her to do it, but he was too busy standing around doing absolutely nothing. She then took another 3-5 minutes to make my iced tea lemonade, a drink that is cold and doesn't require anything other than mixing some liquids together and pouring it into a cup. Even after that absolutely horrible experience I decided to give this location one more try, because we all have off days, right? I got a simple grande mocha, which was so burned that it was literally sour tasting. Word to the wise - stay away from this location until they get some better staff. read more
