I usually come here in the morning before work and the line is always to the door. It is slow moving. It usually takes me 10 minutes or more to get my drink and get out. The baristas are not very warm and friendly. As well, they tend to forget orders for coffee travelers if you call the day before. I suggest calling them day of to place your order. I LOVE RYAN!!!! I called many starbucks trying to buy a "build your own portraits travel mug" for a Father's Day gift. Finally when I called this location Ryan answered and he was able to reserve some for me for a later pick up. He was so sweet and helpful. He told me just say his name at the counter when I got there, however he was the first to assist me as soon as I walked in. He was friendly and he even helped me decorate the gift. The location is also well organize and clean. I did buy a few drinks for my co-workers. They were okay, I bit watered down and not well blended. But overall I had a great experience. read more

Idk why there are bad reviews as of recent since all the baristas at this location are AMAZING. Honestly I feel that the hate here is just coming from a bunch of spoiled people tryna get free stuff from Starbucks corporate. I love love LOVE this store and despite the wait in the mornings it's a great place to be. Every one of the employees is always more than happy to help me and I know it's not just me. I see and hear them greeting other people as though they've been good friends for years and even when I'm feeling down they'll cheer me up and I always leave with a smile on my face. I will sometimes hear or see someone being rude to these young gentlemen and young ladies and I'll make the face from my profile pic like what the actual heck what's wrong with y'all? I may be a bit biased bc this team of people has always been so great to me but I'll be damned if I don't say that this team is like a second family to me bc they always ask me how I am and how things are going on in my life. They remember things going on and ask how things have progressed and I hear and feel how genuine they all are. These baristas don't deserve y'alls bad reviews especially since I looked up a few and you posted a review of something that happened when YOU WEREN'T EVEN THERE! I was in line when someone decided they were gonna give the girl at the register an attitude and it came outta left field like what just happened? Barista was very calm and offered everything possible to appease this psychotic woman and yet I saw that later that day psycho left a bad review! AND IT WASN'T EVEN THE CHICK THAT CAME TO THE STORE! That's a bad game of telephone if ever I known. Anyway I love this store, I love the baristas, I love the atmosphere but I cannot stand the people that come and make it ugly for these beautiful and hard-working people. I know that one barista has a job right after their Starbucks shift and they are always in a good mood the whole time, making sure all is well with you and your order. A handful of the girls are in school getting their degrees and they often are up late doing homework and they still show up to work ready to deliver amazing customer service. Another girl is 8 FREAKIN MONTHS PREGNANT and she's still there every day, smiling happy as can be, genuine with everyone especially even though she's tired as all heck and I don't know if she's gonna work until the baby pops out or what but she needs to be at home already, chillin with her feet up and a spa team working on her to keep her relaxed and refreshed! And I know some of the shift supervisors will sometimes "clopen", which means they closed the night before and are opening the next day. That mess is difficult. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy let alone these awesome baristas. All I can do for these girls and guys is keep hypin them up bc they deserve it, not bad reviews from BAD CUSTOMERS. This location is above average for a Starbucks. I like most Starbucks locations, so to stand out above the pack is a good compliment. The employees (baristas) seem friendlier here than other locations, which goes a long way towards my high review. I have found myself leaving here with a smile on my face on more than one occasion because of a joke or something funny that was said by one of the friendly employees. They have a nice patio, and I sometimes get a Noah's bagel next door. There is usually some good people watching here too. Lots of Spectrum folks getting their coffee here after their workouts. read more

This location is so hassle free and kick back that I'm surprised its in the heart of this business area. There is almost never a wait (3 people max in front of you) and the Baristas are friendly and helpful. Since they are in a popular location don't expect them to have all the food items come end of day. They do run out. But not to worry because I can always find something I enjoy. One drink I like to get is the Mocha Frap but double blended with easy ice and blended whipped cream as well. Talk about a creamy treat. The outdoor seating area is usually clean and not busy. Caution when making a purchase at this location, they will overcharge you if you are not careful! I ordered a simple grande English Breakfast Tea yesterday morning along with a slice of lemon pound cake...the same thing I order every morning. When the barista rang me up the amount was $7. Considering I order the same thing every day I thought the price was a little off but went with it and asked for a printed receipt...that's when I realized the barista has charged me for a English Breakfast Tea Latte. When I brought this error to his attention he was clueless and responded "oh I don't know why your receipt says latte but that's the price of a tea". Clearly it isn't because the listed price of a Trenta Mango Black Tea Lemonade is 4.25!!!! Because a line was starting to form I decided to suck it up but decided not to return to this location again. This location used to be my favorite because of the seating options, cleanliness, and it is a relatively good place to get some serious work done. Considering there are at least 4 other Starbucks on Rosecrans and a spacious, friendly, and responsive CBTL across the street, there is no reason to stop by this location any more. A little bit of a let down. I have had better baristas here prior AND nearby locations. No greeting, slow service. I was the second customer in line. It tooks six minutes total for one drink , for each customer- why? Too long and no sense of urgency. Not impressed. Overall vibe is lacking. read more

I've been going to this Starbucks for years and I come in often since I live and work in the area. It seems that recently (past 6 months or so) the drink quality and customer service have worsened. When I order my drink I feel as though I'm a terrible inconvenience to the barista taking my simple iced coffee order. Then, once my drink arrives it is incorrect more than half the time. I've stopped asking for them to fix it because it ends up making matter worse... I understand during a rush, meaningful attention can't always be devoted but what about the rest of the time? read more

Very poor quality baristas! Make horrible lattes and only give u one espresso shot when you specifically asked for two and was charged for two. All the baristas also have no ideas how to make a flat white! Shouldn't be selling a flat white if you don't know how to make it. I have come to this Starbucks a handful of times and never been too much of a fan because no one is really friendly and everyone in there is like a robot. So this morning I go in and order a coffee and cheese danish. First the cashier doesn't even make eye contact okay its busy what do I expect. I pay say thank you and she forgot to give me my danish. I am waiting against the wall and start to notice everyone that arrived after me has left with their coffee. I decide to go up to the cashier and ask her if she had put my coffee order in and she doesn't even let me speak because she thought I was asking for my danish. Finally I get to speak and ask her about my coffee order and she is responds "I thought I put it in" She asks for my name I give it to her she asks if there is a cup for me and they respond with no and now they are trying to take my order. I am already late to work because I thought I went there with time but my order was never put in I told her I did not have time. I left without even asking for a refund and left.
