Online order can not be processed without hassle here. You have got to remind them again and again! They make your coffee but need to remind about cookie too. There must be a screen that you are seeing online orders, but lets say you missed it which is not a big deal. When I ask you to bring it down, would be nicer to respond at least. One of the barista not even looking to my face telling you to ask your order from someone else on the back. Pardon me! Is it my job to organize who brings cookie who is making the coffee? I am okay with people might be missing things but when customer asking you to do your JOB, you should be kind! My cookie and cappuccino was great. One star for rudeness! read more

I've been coming to this Starbucks for over 2 years great staff and people are friendly but there is no where to sit. They keep taking away areas the sit and not replacing them. They need to add power cords to the store. read more

My order was prepared incorrectly twice - and when they handed me a third drink it was still wrong ( I tossed it when I left the store). What bothered me was the attitude of the barista - no apology or interest in making sure they got my drink correct. All I wanted was a Iced Venti quad skim latte with extra ice. Such a great place to either relax or chat with friends, or grab a delicious latte or hot flavored coffee or Mocha with Expresso shots for those of you that are looking for caffeine to get you through the day!!! I honestly love this Starbucks. I go everyday before work. I always get asked why i don't do the mobile ordering and i honestly always explain Carolyn and Vince always make my day. Starbucks at the Promenade deserves Kudos Bc they #payitforward. I went in to buy my mom 6 brownies, several cookies, & coffee. The staff knew that my dad had passed away less than a week ago & wouldn't let me pay. How warm, nice, & generous was that? ...& they have been kind & generous to my mom before. Seriously the worst Starbucks ever. I've been to highway rest stop locations that are better than this one. Long lines regularly and drinks come out slowly. Constantly out of iced coffee (which is RIDICULOUS) and only offer pouring hot coffee over ice as the solution. Behind the counter, though friendly, is either extremely understaffed or there is a plethora of employees mostly socializing with each other. Such a shame considering the location is so convenient, I go out of my way to a different Starbucks or settle for a cup of Dunkin coffee to avoid this place. read more

Awful experience!!! I ordered an ICed coffee and caramel frappuccino for a friend I waited for over 10 minutes 7 to 8 people that walked in through the door After me got their coffee and mine was not ready when I inquired they laughed and made fun I got really annoyed and I asked again and my coffee was not ready yet To top it up it was made with coconut milk and not half and half as I requested one of the girls there was nasty and horrible attitude never going back again !!! read more

If I have to write a review , it's usually for a restaurant, but today was the last day I would be coming to this starbucks. For one, I noticed that the employees all look like they just woke up and don't want to be bothered. ( always have pissed off look) I've come at all different times in the past and every time I came , there's always a crazy line which is understandable but don't have 1 cashier and 1 person making coffee, people don't want to wait 20 minutes for a simple coffee. Management should definitely fix this problem because that's a good portion of my frustration coming here is that even when I set myself time to get a coffee before work I end up being late because of their improper staffing. Lastly , being such a expensive coffee joint , you would expect a little cleanliness. This place is always dirty and tables are always sticky. Dunkin' Donuts is even cleaner ! read more

This is a "hit & miss" for me. I would've given it a 4 star on traveling distance alone but: Many times I've been here, it seems to take 10 mins or more just to get a simple Iced coffee. Believe me, I do understand about long lines forming. I guess it's expected with Starbucks. I do agree with one of the "Yelpers" on their review: "Would it hurt to try to get more people working here?" They also messed up on multiple occasions of overloading my beverage with ice after I specifically said "Light ice".....I do enjoy the area. It's nice. I wish there were more available seating there but unfortunately it's always overtaken. read more

Not sure what is going on at this Starbucks, maybe new management or lack there of. I live in Fairlawn and frequent this Starbucks at times almost everyday, purchasing several drinks at a time for myself and my family. The last few visits have been horrible. The place is DISGUSTING! A few days a ago I was in there, place was pretty much empty, one female employee making drinks again or lack there of, and a male employee "cleaning" while she is preparing drinks. he is lifting up the rubber mats and shaking them with debris flying all over while the other person is trying to prepare drinks and food! Gross. We had a mobile order which they never even began preparing until we asked about it, to which she said oh yeah I'll get to it. This happens all the time there. Mobile orders are not a priority and take longer then waiting online to order. The eating area, counters and floors were sticky and a mess like they were not cleaned all day, disgusting! The employees are more concerned with socializing and talking about disgruntled customers after they leave., then they are keeping up with the cleanliness of the establishment. They also do not know the menu items, serving drinks with the wrong ingredients numerous times. With much hesitation, I gave them another chance, purely due to convenience on my part. I mobile ordered today and went in @ 1:45pm. I did not leave until 2:20 with my order, threw it in the garbage and did not drink it because I saw the male employee prepare my cold drinks along with several others, all different types and not even clean the mixing cups!!! At one point he quickly dipped the mixing cup in some type of cleaner, hopefully sanitizer, but when he took it out there was dirty water in the bottom of the mixing cup and he proceeded to make my drink WITH THE DIRTY WATER STILL IN THE CUP!!!!! HE WAS HANDLING ALL THE PLASTIC TO GO CUPS BY THE TOP RIMS AND GETTING HIS DIRTY HANDS ALL OVER THEM. THE EATING AREA HAD FOOD ALL OVER THE FLOOR AND ANTS CRAWLING INSIDE THE ESTABLISHMENT, SHOWING THE FOOD HAS BEEN THERE A LONG TIME! Needless to say this is the last time we will be going there and honestly I think I need to notify the health department. This is by far the dirtiest Starbucks I have ever been to. I hope they turn things around for the health and safety of their customers. read more

Where do I start? Oh! Perhaps I should begin with my name. Not to be confused with The Best A[hole], it is actually The Best Around. Now that we have cleared that up, let's talk coffee. This particular Starbucks is very clean. Their displays - always on point. Good stuff. Big ups. The staff is pretty awesome. They're cheery and friendly. Always willing to chat it up. I don't come here when I have to work so I don't care about waiting. Maybe those who want to complain about being late should go to a place that doesn't get crowded every day during the lunch rush. to put it bluntly this store sucks. they are utterly incapable of even decently speedy service. more than three times I have stood there waiting for ten or fifteen minutes while the baristas make five or six drinks that were ordered after mine, and mine was not inprogress and hadn't even been started yet. they just completely forgot about it. they constantly have a single cashier on when there is a line that literally reaches the door, although there are two or three other staff members just hanging out being useless instead of opening another register to move the line along at a reasonable pace. i can never come here without leaving at least twenty minutes extra time in my schedule to account for the ridiculous wait that there inevitably is even when there is only two or three people on line the service is still so slow it's maddening. the workers are for the most part slightly below average, with a few exceptions who are great, and one who is far below average. she wouldn't even stir my coffee to mix the flavor into it, so it all sat at the bottom and left my coffee seemingly unflavored. when I asked her for another flavor shot she gave me an eye roll and a sigh and a nasty look. she then pumped so much extra flavor in that once it was mixed it was basically undrinkable. accident or payback for me.having the nerve to ask for my coffee to be what I paid for, I can't say. she also didn't add my whip cream and acted extremely put upon when I asked her to add what she had forgotten. on average, aside from the painfully slow wait times, my order isn't even made right about 50% of the time ....and I get the exact same thing every time, made by the exact same handful of people, and my drink is a basic, stock coffee, no special requests or complicated add ins or anything like that. basically, don't come here unless you want to be infuriated by totally unnecessarily long wait times for the simplest order, and mediocre at best service. highly NOT recommended. save yourself the headache and go to the one in Glen.rock instead. read more

Good staff/service, but freezing. This store has a ton of windows and I don't think they are insulated. I am always shivering in the store when the temperature drops below 32 degrees. I would love to use this Starbucks as a place to study/hangout in the winter, but they need to turn up the heat. read more

I'm usually a fan of Starbucks due to the fact that I travel around a bit and well, its sort of the best of the worst coffee available. I have visited this location on a few occasions and its been so-so. My most resent visit was actually shocking because I'm accustomed to my set of expectations when I walk into a Starbucks location. This place was an utter filthy mess. Trash on the floors and the counters looked like they needed to be power-washed and then sanitzed. This is a new location and its marketed as a premium cafe experience mostly because they have a clover machine. Is anyone paying attention to this location, or was it built and forgotten about by management and franchise? What a waste! read more

Not like your average Starbucks where you get great service and great drinks/food. The staff and service at his location are amazingly awful. Never seen more people standing around chatting with each other, ignoring customers, and moving like snails while a line of people grew and grew. Only the thruway locations have been able to match this level of incompetence. Tried online order, my ticket sat on the printer for 10 minutes while they stood around until I told them to grab it. There is one barista who is so rude it's disgusting. My friend and I were joking around and she comes up to my friend, looks her right in the eye and told her to get new friends. My friend then said sarcastically that she will and the barista looks her in the eye again and says no seriously. She then asked my friend very politely about her drink and when my drink was ready she slapped it in the counter, rolled her eyes and so rudely after a minute told me my drink was there and to get it. Of all the Starbucks in my area, this is my least favorite. The line is always super long and SLOW. I see that there is a lot of staff behind the counter, but it seems more than half are engaged in banter. And no its not staff meetings. It's people talking crap huddled in a corner almost every single time I come here. The drinks they make taste weak, and I've had my ordered messed up a couple of times (both times it took sooooo long to even get the order I just left and didnt ask them to fix it). The inside looks nice, and during the summer they had tables outside for customers, but I avoid this Sbux almost completely now because of the issues listed above. The 15 minute parking for customers out front is a good idea, but doesnt make up for all the other issues. You're better off with the Glen Rock location (even with the poor parking availability I'd rather go there!) or sometimes if I am headed into work, I stop at the Paramus Starbucks on 17 South (drive-thru!:) with the friendly and speedy staff. read more

Stopped for a Chai Tea with my wife at the Fair Lawn Promenade Starbucks. What a pig sty. There was garbage all over the floor, the sugar and milk table was covered in spills, the front window was filthy with who knows what, and there is a spill on the wall that looks like it has been there for months. The only thing that was missing was the rat dragging the slice of pizza across the floor. read more

Last year I used to go to this Starbucks and hated it. The staff was mean and the wait was forever. But recently I moved back and it's been awesome. The staff is way more happy and cheerful, and although it's a busy starbucks, they try their best to get drinks out asap. The most frustrating thing is that they usually take awhile, but they are such a busy starbucks it's not their fault. They could be a bit cleaner, but I have seen customers throw wrappers on the ground and leave their tables dirty, and with how busy this Starbucks is, it doesn't surprise me the baristas don't have time to clean up after everyone. They also really care about making the perfect drink, I saw one barista remake a drink for someone. This is now one of my favorite Starbucks, but if you're in a rush or want quick service, just don't go during their rush hours and you'll be fine read more

I just called the Starbucks office in Seattle to complain that as a Fair Lawn resident, I can never find a table without other customers sitting with their laptops with papers pushed around, not drinking coffee and sitting there forever! I asked one of the workers "Will they ever leave?" She said that they ordered coffee before and just smiled. I've had enough! We drive around to other locations and can't visit the Starbucks in my town. The Starbucks customer service that I just called said she will speak to the store manger and distributor regarding my concerns. People - if you want to complain about this issue, call customer service and report it. The more we call maybe it will help. I've suggested a sign that limits time spent in the coffee shops to 20-30 mins. then leave! Be considerate people! read more

I live by starbucks and every time i come for coffee the waiting line is crazy, and the store not clean. There were only 2 girls behind the counter, and the barista was so busy and in a rush that my drink didnt come out good, thankfully they re-made it again. read more

Incredibly slow. Staff more into socializing. ALWAYS forgets about the customer once they take your money. You are waiting, and waiting to get your food and no one cares.
