Nice inside Starbucks
Doug S.

I got a gift card from my work with a large amount of money on the card. I really do not drink coffee. I am more of a Diet Coke person. So, I have been coming here in the morning trying different pastries and breakfast foods. I was not a fan of their breakfast sandwiches. They just take them out of a wrapper and warm them up in a microwave. I know they do not have a grill so that is what you get. They are okay, just not great, the ones at covenant stores are better. I will just go to McDonald's or Whataburger. The pastries are good I have tried most of them. The chocolate croissant, banana walnut bread and blue berry muffin are very good. This location is very nice inside with plenty of space. My service at the front counter has been very good. They have a drive-through as well. The parking lot is hard to get in when the drive-thru line is long.

Very nice Starbucks! Mobile order was ready in 5 mins. The baristas were also very friendly!

When we pulled into the parking lot, we immediately noticed how full it was. Once we walked in, there was a great amount of people sitting around, possibly having meetings and working. It was barely 11 am on a Tuesday. My coworkers and I were able to get coffee and charge our devices. There is an abundance of charging outlets all over. There is even a little seating area for children to sit and read or play. The staff was polite and helpful. We ordered with ease. I like that there is plenty of seating areas inside, two different outside patios downstairs, seating on a second level and another huge patio area upstairs. To get upstairs, you can take the stairs or use the elevator. Besides beverages, you can purchase pastries and merchandise such as t-shirts. This is definitely one of those little shops to come, sit and work while you sip your tea or coffee. It's Uber cute and trendy. Check it out!!

The barista was very friendly, but my espresso is very bitter especially considering my drink cost…read moreover $8. I tried doctoring it to make it taste better, but that was futile. This coffee is just really bad. I was hoping this was going to be my go to coffee stop this week while I'm here in Arlington for work, but I'll seek out another spot.

What a wonderful event, The Clove Cafe is a true gem. The warmth you find here, you will not find…read moreat your local "coffee shop". While there, a lady came in with her mother, the owner of the establishment came out to greet her in a way a friend would greet another. When you're wanting something that feels genuine and from the heart, this will be a cafe I'd recommend. Everyone, knows someone, even if meeting as strangers over coffee or nibbles of sweet pastries. Heck, you can throw in some games to that, as well. As someone stated in a previous review, it seems as if everyone who works there, truly loves being there. It isn't a chore, it isn't about rushing to get to the next drink preparation, they're, there to make sure you have the best experience in the place they nurture for others to enjoy. I appreciate that. Blueberry Matcha: I'm a fan, but not a fan of matcha. To explain, not everyone knows how to balance the taste of matcha. It's either way too earthy/gritty or not sweet enough, it has been rare that someone knows how to balance that combination. I have never tried a blueberry matcha and was excited to see this was one of our options. This was superb. The blueberry wasn't in syrup form, it was a blueberry foam that added the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. This is something I'd get again, and again. Too many people ruin matcha's with syrup that swims on the bottom, here, not even. Seasonal: White Chocolate Rose Scone I'll admit, I'm not a scone person. The scones I've tried in the past, were hard and flaky and that's what turned me away from there. But this scone was soft and moist, I truly enjoyed every bite. I am now open to trying others, but only at this cafe. Cheddar Chive Biscuit: My favorite. Well, my favorite is their Pepper Jack Jalapeno Biscuit, so this will be my second. I warmed it up and added a touch of butter, OOOHHWEEEE, it more than hit the spot. I can't wait to have one again. With this latest visit, I learned they alternate their biscuits monthly and they have calendars available to remind their patrons. There are several I'd love to try and thankfully, they're being served on my days off. This is such a beautiful establishment, that's inside and out.

There's even a little corner with a bookcase and games, right next to the WiFi password--such a thoughtful touch! They have a great selection of gluten-free and vegan options, all made fresh in-house. Think muffins, biscuits, brownies... plenty to choose from! The owner also shares a monthly baking schedule, which is super helpful if you want to plan ahead and place orders for the office, friends, or family. I even noticed an Easter order form available for anyone needing some last-minute holiday treats! They also feature monthly drink menus, which keeps things fun and interesting if you like trying something new. The music is lightly playing in the background--just enough to set the mood without overpowering conversation or your peaceful time. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to
