This is my usual Starbucks location. It can get pretty busy at times. My go to drinks are the green tea or iced matcha. Most of the longstanding employees who've been there a while are very friendly and remember my order requests. However, they've hired a lot of new staff recently and wait times seem to have gone up and there's been some occasions where the wrong drink was made. I was having a pleasant experience at this Starbucks. Been coming for years. The young lady that helped me taking my order on drive thru was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately all that was lost because I paid with a young lady by the name of Brenda, she should not be at drive thru. Very rude and no customer service whatsoever didn't say one word besides how much I owed and when I asked for a stopper and straw didn't even look my way. We didn't see the two drinks we ordered and a barista was observant enough to see us looking at the names on the cup. We let her know that we were just waiting on two drinks under the name Nightwing. She said, "okay, we've seen the order, we're just going to sneak in 6 Frappuccino orders first." The was off putting to my wife. We then immediately notice 3 baristas at the cashier just talking, not working. I'm aware that this is a snapshot of our experience at an establishment that has their procedure down to a science, but even as an optimist was disappointed by this lack of urgency. (The cafe itself had 3 separate groups of people inside, 2 groups outside, and one other mobile order customer waiting.) Somehow every time I go to this Starbucks, they never make my drink or food correctly (all the other Starbucks I've been to do a great job). I purposely avoid this one, and haven't been to this one in over a year. I went today because I was exhausted and needed a quick pick me up and it was the most convenient one to go to since it wasn't out of the way. I ordered at the drive through, they didn't show what I ordered on screen and then they hand me my drink, it's not even the right drink what so ever, this is a completely different drink and it also didn't have coffee in it. I'm not a coffee drinker so I frequent this Starbucks probably 5 times a year for cake pops and drinks for others. Every time I come I feel like I'm being lectured about things. Today I picked up two travelers in the drive thru that I ordered online. I get lectured for using the drive thru to pick up travelers. The attendant was ok but she's like, "Next time....". How about you take that up with Starbucks ordering app? If you give people the option then they will order travelers for drive thru pick up. Don't come at me with your next time. I don't know Starbucks internal policies and don't care to know them. I don't spend my money to get lectured. So Starbucks put a disclaimer for your paying customers stating that travelers can't be picked up in the drive thru lane. Stop lecturing your customers. Just hand me my order. read more

They were so nice here!! I hardly ever go to Starbucks anymore because of the rude service at the other locations and the inconsistency of flavor of my drinks. It has been months since I have visited a Starbucks. This was my first time at this location. The store was clean but I felt a little stuffy inside. I was in the store browsing for a new tumbler while waiting on my drinks. I was in there for almost 10 minutes and I could smell coffee on my clothes and hair after I walked out. Glad I was going straight home! Didn't want to smell like coffee while meeting with friends. The girl that made my drink was super perky and made my drink really well. I got the nitro cold brew with cold vanilla foam. It was really good but needed to be more cold for me. I would come back if I was in the area. This is my go-to Starbucks but today 8/24 at 12:27pm. The woman taking drive through orders was so incredibly rude to my fiance and me. We pulled up and she already had some attitude in her voice when she asked what we wanted. But I get it that she is probably tired so I just tried to be as nice as possible when I ordered. Then I said that will be all but my fiance wanted to add to the order so we said "actually can we add..." and she cut him off and said "well you said that was all so I assumed that mean't that was all" in the snottiest voice. I've honestly never been snapped at like that before (except maybe by my teacher in kindergarten). I didn't think id leave Starbucks feeling shameful. It was a wild experience. If you're vegetarian or vegan, avoid coming to this Starbucks or Starbucks in general. My girlfriend who is vegetarian ordered a falafel pocket wrap, but instead received a jalapeño chicken pocket wrap and mind you she ate 90% of the chicken wrap and on the wrapping and label it said it was a falafel wrap. Not only my girlfriend was in distress, but was also in tears because it went against her morals for consuming animal products and was given something without her consent. I went to the employee who made and gave the wrap to my girlfriend that not only I want a refund for his fuck up, but need something more on top of that. Instead this employee who was a brown haired male nonchalantly apologized and didn't care for what I had to say concerning my girlfriend's health and refunded me. Also if you reach out to customer service, good luck. They are out sourced and communicating will be a pain. This isn't my first visit here, every time I come to this location they are always fucking up whatever I order, but this is the last straw. I came here on 09/05/20 as my dude treated me to Starbucks. I remember when my sister and I came to this Starbucks as we were their very first customer as they just opened a year ago. I finally went inside to get my mobile order which is so convenient than waiting in the long drive thru line like other locations. The inside was clean and due to COVID there's no inside dining however they did have outdoor patio in the front. The staff were all wearing their mask and properly too! I thought it was time I wrote an updated review, since this location hs been open for almost 9 months now. It can get super busy at times, particularly mid-morning and around 2-3pm (end-of-school time). The entrance to the drive thru is a little tricky; it's built to discourage people coming in from the Walgreens side but people will still try it. There's plenty of space once you're in there, but it can be kinda slow - particularly at after school time since people are ordering more drinks per car. The outdoor seating is a nice spot and I've seen staff helping people out with the umbrellas for shade more than once. There's plenty of seating inside too, a good mix of communal and two-seaters. They do their best to keep the place clean. Sometimes there's the odd spill or dirty table but they keep on top of it when it isn't crazy busy. The bathrooms have always been clean in my experience. The decor is nice and the seats are comfortable. I've always found the staff to be friendly here. My husband goes more often than I do and several of them recognise him and make small talk. I've almost never had an incorrect or unsatisfying drink order here. Early one there were one or two hiccups, but I can't remember the last time I wasn't satisfied with my drink. read more

This Starbucks is consistent...consistently bad that is! I generally come to this same one, but enough is enough. I came yesterday and again today, for a grande almond milk decaf ice coffee with two pumps of hazelnut. Both days no decaf, so I had to change my order...this seems to happen more frequently at this location. So today, the on duty manager says, "We can't make that...we don't have decaf." I'm thinking...aren't you a coffee company? I also thought...how hard is it to make decaf...and this is the manager? So, I order an iced almond milk chai latte ($5.85). I have a Starbucks card...no problem, but wait...now there system is down, they can accept cash or card, but not Starbucks gift cards. Gotcha! Mobile ordered a coffee and a sandwich today. I walked in and someone called my name and handed me a food bag. A few min later I got my drink. I went back out to my car and realized I was given a croissant not a sandwich. I went back in and told them I didn't get my sandwich and gave them the croissant back. The lady got super defensive and was like "we've been out of that sandwich for 30 minutes" I was like okay well I ordered and paid for it so I want my money back. She again is just telling me they've been out for 30 minutes. I repeatedly ask for my money back and she's continuing to argue with me so I just left. You'd think they could tell me they were out of my sandwich and ask if I wanted a different one instead of replacing it with a food item that was half the price of what I paid for? They also should probably disable the app so people can't order food they don't have in stock so this doesn't happen, especially if they don't know how to deal with it when it does.... read more

Came in just moments ago. Had terrible service. First of came up to the counter to redeem points with my boyfriend. Stood in the front for a moment while the cashier didn't acknowledge us till he left and done "writing" . Only wanted to purchase their coffee bag. And that we where redeeming points. Not once did he look at me but only at my boyfriend. Then waited 10 minutes and was not told that our grounds were ready. He was too busy trying to close when closing time isn't even close. It was 6:30! Once I asked him if my grounds where ready he pointed at the end of the counter and TOLD my boyfriend they were done over there. This guy apparently hates women or doesn't like to take and order from one. Why work at a customer service job when you don't like to talk to the opposite sex. His ID # is 710291. This is my new go to Starbucks, I started going here ever since my go to location on Shepard and Cedar closed down. I come here to do my homework in the evenings for 2+ hours, when school is in session. If you come inside it is ALWAYS clean & cold. Even the restrooms are always cleaned. You can tell the management is on top of their duties. Not once have the employees ever been rude or got bothered by my drink orders. Which, is nice because I always come across a Starbucks location with very bothered employees. I have also been thru the drive thru a few times & they always try their best to make sure they are doing the fastest they can. I did once have to wait about 20 minutes in the drive thru but, not because of them. A customer was giving them crap & that is not Starbucks fault for their actions & I understand that. This location needs some serious training! I don't frequent Starbucks very much, maybe once a week as a treat. During the last few visits I was given regular instead of decaf, it tasted a little different so I looked on the sticker label on the cup, sure enough, it was regular. Don't get me wrong, I love caffeinated coffee and miss it so very much, unfortunately, due to heart meds I'm currently taking, I can't drink any caffeinated drinks,I was too far away to go back so I stopped at another Starbucks and ordered a fresh cup. Then there was today, I ordered my usual at this location, when they handed me the coffee, I noticed that she was holding the cup with 2 hands, one holding the lid, the other holding the bottom, usually they are holding just the bottom, but I figured she was new, I took the coffee tried to set it in my cup holder and the lid popped off, spilling hot coffee all over me and the inside of my car. My fingers are still throbbing as I write this review. I don't mind dents in my car, but coffee with extra cream in my carpet will most likely sour. That's a shame, I work so hard to keep my truck clean I won't be returning to this location, it's too dangerous! Maybe it's time to try Dutch Bros. read more
