This particular location has the potential to be a stellar location..with its being situated directly off of 355. however, the customer service is truly hit or miss. There's a lot of younger folks working here, which is great for overall efficiency, but they can also act young, and passive aggressive. Like the type of immaturity you'll observe when they're insecure with themselves. I noticed this moreso when I would walk into the store vs. the drive thru. This could also be a result of being non stop busy and disparity in work ethic and competency among the coworkers. Inside the store is clean, with lots of seating and natural light. However, my experience is the drive thru is way more efficient. There's parking spaces directly out front, and this location is located a modern shopping center with a ton of restaurants. Unfortunately, this is the Starbucks closest to my home, but it's consistently one of the worst in the area. The drinks are always poorly made--every latte tastes like a shot of espresso with warm milk. The milk has no texture, and it's never actually hot. I understand Starbucks is a fast-paced coffee chain, but I'm still paying for a coffee and expect it to be made correctly. It feels like the focus is on getting customers through the line as quickly as possible instead of making a decent drink. On this visit, I also ordered sugar-free vanilla, but it never appeared on the order screen or the sticker, and the drink clearly didn't have it. Don't go to this location. Extremely poor customer service. Stood at the register for at least 5 minutes before someone came and took my order. They weren't even that busy. Can't go wrong with the Iced White Chocolate Mocha it's amazing and it's the only way I like to start my day off. I love the service at this location because they are always very friendly and ask how your day is going it's just nice to be greeted that way sometimes. One of my go to Starbucks in the area. Relatively easy and plentiful parking. Their drive thru is usually pretty quick. Plenty of seating inside with outlets and comfy seats. Also plenty of outdoor seating when it's nice out. The bathrooms here are always clean. The neighborhood is quiet and service here is always fast friendly and welcoming. Drinks are always solid and what I expect in quality. Baked goods/ food options are on par for the usual Starbucks. read more

This place unfortunately has really gone down hill. The consistency of the drinks is always off. You're always greeted with a frown IF you're greeted at all. I would always order online before going on our doing the drive through. I stood inside trying to get a drink and everyone was chatting about there life and occasionally looking at me annoyed. Just went tonight, I got a venti pink drink, it ended up tasting soapy. I called and talked to one of the employees they made me a new one for it to still taste like soap. One of the most efficient SB with a drive thru in the area. My first stop, before going into Kaiser. No matter what time of day, they get that drive thru moving fast. Theres always a friendly employee to greet you. I love the interior of the store. Another nice and cozy spot, to get work done, or to have chat with friends. I went through the drive through option and it was decent. The problem is that the location and convenience is perhaps too good. This invites a lot of people. I ordered ahead and came here to wait in the drive through line for another 20 minutes. It isn't the fault of this location by any means but just a caution for people who think they can just come here quickly. Exiting the drive through is tough when there is a line wrapping around. The service and options/food is on par with other locations so no surprise there. The people here are nice and the interior looks nice. My advice is to park farther from the drive through area and go inside to get your drink. It ends up being faster in many situations - especially peak hours. read more

Just a very nice Starbucks with a drive through window and very nice outdoor seating. A large indoor seating area with additional counter space provided as well as tables. We found the customer service outstanding with no waiting for our orders and food. Our orders were completely perfectly. Plenty of parking with easy access easy and out. read more

Love the location and layout of this Starbucks. It's perfect for meeting with friends and working. Today I came in and worked a few hours and enjoyed a delicious iced quad. Everyone there is very friendly, the store is clean and well-kept, and the bathrooms were gender neutral. This location has plenty of parking. However, around lunchtime, it filled up pretty quickly because of customer who were dining at Firebirds. They have a drive thru option, which is a major plus! Love love the Watkins Mill Starbucks location. Awesome list of folks. They get the lines moving whether you're in the drive-through or in stores. The drinks I order taste consistent, at least, but they are never consistent in amount. If I'm paying $7 for a coffee, I expect the cup to at least be fully filled, especially when I'm paying 70 cents extra for the milk alternative. read more

This has become our go to Starbucks in the area since it opened. The best thing about it recently is that it is open 24/7, so you can get your late night fix here. They also have nice seating inside and outside and the center it is in has other shops/restaurants to explore. There's also sometimes have live music on the weekends across the street. read more

that is a $6 drink. I alway order no ice drink in any stores because I dont like ice, it is just too cold for me,not because im cheap ass. i have never got the drink like this. I understand no ice means less. totally understandable. but half? really? i only order 2shots and 2pump syp. compare to original recipe, that is a shot and 2pump syp less. the company will not cut the price down if customer get less shot or syp, but they charge if add those items.
