Nice, little Starbucks at the corner of Firewheel Mall. I had a 15$ gift card so I came in, grabbed a hot chocolate and got a pesto & egg hot sandwich. No issues using the gift card, and the staff were positive and quick. The sandwich was good, although it had a sliiiiightly papery taste to the bread after being heated up inside a bag in the microwave, and the hot cocoa was good too, although even after waiting a couple minutes it was hot enough to burn my mouth. read more

Barista was friendly and my wife was able to get a satisfactory coffee. Reason for the lie review is false advertising of tea. I knew I wouldn't get a good oolong at Starbucks lol, but the menu online said they did have a choice of a few green and black teas. However upon getting there I found they use the boiling water from their machine for all teas despite the kind of tea ordered. In other words they only serve black teas. I can't give 4 stars to a place that serves burnt coffee--but that's a Starbucks tradition. But, +1 stars for the staff here. They are super nice. I'd cut a bitch if I had to deal with the douchebag clientele they deal with all the time. For this particular trip, the dude behind me kept saying "She knows how I like my cup" to the barista at the counter. I just wanted to punch the douche in the throat. This starbucks is located right on the edge of the Firewheel shops. There is plenty of parking out front in the private lot. Ive never had a problem at this store. They are always decently quick, food products are always fresh and there's never a long line. The bathrooms are also very clean! I stop in here maybe once a month and would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing coffee, tea, or a snack. read more

This location seems cramped and difficult to drive/park if you enter from the front of the shopping center. If you keep going and park around back, there is plenty of parking and it's much less congested! I usually use the Starbucks app to order from this location and find is very easy. I've always gotten my drink quickly and made correctly from this location. I love how close it is to Firewheel Mall and will often get a drink then walk over to shop or look around. If you want to stay away from the mall crowd, this location is still close to other shops and restaurants. read more

I'm confused. When did Starbucks become a daycare? Like I'm honestly so annoyed. Why are their children running wild, climbing on stuff. Like I came here to study, drink my coffee. (3 lattes within 4 hours) & I can't focus with screaming kids. This isn't a McDonald's play place. Not only that but it's unsanitary for this child to be hanging over the counter like this. Her hair could get into the blenders or really just on anything over the counter as well as her hands were touching stuff. Not only was it unsanitary but it was unsafe. What if the child were to get her hand into the blender, she could have cut herself or even been seriously injured not to mention that coffee is obviously extremely hot I'm not positive exactly what was located right over the counter but she could have burned herself. Or fallen off the chair. It was evident that she was annoying other paying customers as well. Her father was completely oblivious to anything she was doing. I really didn't understand why this was tolerated by the store, as well as her father. And when they eventually left it seemed as though the mother who showed up out of no where was an employee and just got off her shift. So that just added to my frustration. I understand kids are allowed in coffee shops but it's a public place regardless they need to behave. & on top of that there's a playground in the fire wheel center a few feet from the location... so why couldn't the father ignore his child there where kids are expected to behave like wild animals... the situation could have been avoided. I'm embarrassed to say but I spend upwards of $100 a week on coffee here and this incident alone makes me want to go to another location. **UPDATE** I had an employee from this location complain to me on here about how the child is one of the employees children & that they come in with her when she works so that's not a problem & im rude for complaining... ok first of all that's just horrible customer service to complain to an already upset customer and tell them that they are rude. Also no employer I've ever had would allow me to take my child to work with me... have a friend, family member watch them. Hire a babysitter. Or be a stay at home mom, there are plenty of paying jobs from home so don't even argue that. I completely understand how they get busy and the demand on the employees that get bossed around by snobs while they wait and stare at them making their 5$+ java. I'm only giving them 2 stars because of the poor planning that the realistate department has giving this location way too small. Conveniently located within the Firewheel Towne Center, but far enough away from the main portion of the mall that parking is easy to find, and it isn't filled with the middle and high school kids you usually find at Firewheel. Nothing against adolescents, but they tend to get rowdy, which makes concentrating on your work/studies pretty hard. Speaking of studying, there is a good amount of sitting space for the small size of the store. A couple more outlets would be nice though. read more

I have lived by this one 3 years and it's walking distance of my apartment. I have always had bad experience when I try to ask the manager any questions. He is clueless and could care less about any of Starbucks new products or will act like you are asking a crazy question. My problem is that for like 12ish years I've had a venti double chocolate chip chocolate chip frappuccino, with no problem. Lately (since like Aug. 30th) they've been tasting like they have coffee in them. I've asked why-only to be told that's how they're made, with mocha op with java or with coffee. NO, not till recently. I've even asked what to ask for, 'how' to order them, with out ANY coffee flavor at all. I've been told-ask for no mocha, ask for no java, ask for a 'chocolatey chip.' OMG! So today I go in, order 2 and tell her my story and she says to just don't ask for a double java chip frappuccinos. I NEVER HAVE!!!!!! Then she says no problem, she'll make them right for me. I get them, try one, and...guess what...I look up at her and she says, "If it tastes a little like coffee it's just the mocha syrup on top of the whipped creme." OMG. REALLY? This must get the award for the most number of outside seats and table at a Starbucks. Friday afternoon, perfect outside temps, this place was busy today. Students, moms & biz people filled up the place. The staff were very friendly and took care of my drink quickly. I had a youthberry tea, so it just needed hot water! I will say this, that this location does not have very big tables. If you are using a laptop, there's not a lot of spare real estate and your hot liquid will be uncomfortably close to your expensive device. They are a round shape with a segment sliced off so you can push 2 tables together and have some continuity. There is a longer bar type of sitting area looking out of the window, so you could have a laptop open and a notebook to the side. This location used to have a big table near the west entrance where 4 people could sit and spread out their work, which is ideal when you are meeting a few people and need to review documents and have a bit of elbow room. Now it's just a handful of comfy chairs. Staff were welcoming and the bathrooms were very clean. It's in a busy shopping area and there wasn't a lot of parking (Friday afternoon, go figure) Would I go there to work on my laptop. Nope, but if I was meeting clients there, for sure. read more

Today was beyond the worse experience. I order my drink, & never received it. Even after they've seen me standing there for a long period of time. I check the timing of my receipt. I was there for about 20+ minutes. I had obligations that had me on a time constraint. I just asked for my money back. Being that they've seen me standing there for awhile, they never did ask if I was waiting for something or not. It was ridiculous. I was so annoyed. Also, a guy next to me claimed to be the supervisor, even though it appeared to be his day off. I didn't engage with him, but I did overhear him say something along the lines of that. He was up there, chatting with the staff, but even he didn't say anything. It's worth mentioning, even though it was his day off. That is, if he really is the supervisor. Bottom line, I walked out with nothing more than just my money back. I never had this happened before at this location, but I was really craving for what I ordered, which is why I was highly disappointed. read more
