We stopped here early this morning on the way to the AYSO Region 174 fields. This location sits on the end of the shopping plaza near McDonald's, so traffic can get a little busy, but inside it was calm and organized. I walked in around 6:50 am with a couple people ahead of me. The barista who took my order was great!! upbeat, friendly, and actually seemed happy to be there. I always appreciate that, especially in the early morning when people assume everyone is tired or grumpy. Not the case here. I grabbed my drink, headed to the fields, got everything set up, sat down, and took my first sip. It was perfect. New baristas need to be trained properly! Saw one get three orders wrong as ignored printed directions on the cup. She had to remake mine as instructions were clear, but ignored! Happens quite often, horrible and time consuming to stand there while it's remade. So annoying. In other countries Starbucks baristas get it perfect!! Also Chobani Oatmilk doesn't taste nearly as good as Oatly! Hope Starbucks doesn't stay with that brand. read more

Cassandra was eavesdropping on my conversation with my girlfriends regarding my protein box I ordered because I was displeased with the timeliness of it being brought to the bar cause I ordered it ahead of time. And she goes, "You can always get a refund if you don't want to wait." And my girlfriend responded by saying, "No it's okay, we want it. That's why we ordered it." So I was waiting on another egg sandwich and she left it by the oven purposely so we'd wait longer and I had to ask another guy about my ordered and he went and grabbed it for me and she was staring so I know she did it on purpose. All the drinks are delicious my favorite drink is a pink drink light ice with Matcha cold foam. The grilled cheese and cake pops are both delicious. My family loves the breakfast sandwiches and can eat them every day. The workers are kind and know how to make the drinks well. Yikes. I'm sad to bring it down two stars but this is my daily Starbucks and I place a mobile order first thing in the morning to pick up on my way to work. Service hasn't been great the last month or so and I wonder if it's because of the holidays? I honestly don't remember it being this bad but lately when I place a mobile order (same time every morning) I found myself waiting a couple of extra minutes because it wasn't ready by the time it said it would be. It has been getting longer and longer the last few weeks too. The free red cup day is really what caused me to update my review. I placed my mobile order same time as always, even a little earlier this time to be safe. I get there and the place is PACKED. You can barely walk in because everyone is crowded around the pick up station. I decided to walk up to the counter since there wasn't a line (yet) to ask how the free red cup worked for mobile orders and she said they should give it to you at the pick up station. She didn't even offer it to me knowing I placed an order. I walked away and waited. About 15 min after my pick up time, I was getting a little worried. They were slowly updating us by calling names in the queue that they were working on. Those didn't even include the ones whose tickets haven't even been printed yet. 25 min passed. I walked up and asked one of the baristas, Alexis, on my order and she said my name is finally in the queue and that they apologized for being about 30+ min behind in orders. I asked her for my red cup in case they ran out and she handed it to me no problem. She didn't ask if I ordered a holiday drink so honestly if you didn't, you could've gotten one anyway lol. I waited some more since I knew my drink was coming up but by that point I had to text my boss that I was going to be late to work. Frustrating and so unnecessary. Could've been avoided maybe if I cancelled my order and just went without coffee and get a migraine the rest of the day. Idk. But I waited and watched other customers get upset and even one barista who I believe is named Jilisa (has a septum - nose piercing) was actually yelling back at customers. So unprofessional and doesn't help the situation at all. From my retail experience, it's never a good idea to raise your voice at a customer.. I know they're super under pressure but if they were more calm about it, there would be less angry customers. 1 hour later, I get my drink and free cup. I ordered in the store for in store and I sat for nearly a half hour before they told me my drink had been ready for twenty five minutes and getting cold on the counter. How hard is it to say my name especially when they ask you for it. Also no apology just a "here". I have had good and bad service at Starbucks before but this takes the cake. Fabian took my order, then took 30 others. Is it a race thing? I'm Jewish and he seemed anti Semitic. I just wanted coffee. The girl there seemed high. She was dazed out. Does my drink taste incredible: yes it does. Is it what I asked for: no. I said to the cashier I wanted a venti and yet it's a surprise when my drink is already made and it's one size lower than I asked for. The lobby has very little trash on the floor but definitely needs some cleaning. The 4 out 5 tables outside have trash on them and it appears it's been sitting there for over two hours since the time is on the cup. Yes I think the people should have thrown their own trash away but come on SB. I've been enjoying my coffee outside and the trash still remains on the tables. (Edited my review and brought it down to a 2 star rating from my original 3 stars) My cheese Danish isn't hot nor is it very warm either. The taste of it is very good. This Starbucks is full of incompetent baristas, and unhelpful supervisors like Katrina. For the SECOND time, I ordered drinks with NO ice, and was given all of my drinks FULL OF ICE. I do not drive, and therefore cannot just go back at any time to get my drinks remade, but upon explaining this to Katrina, I was met with a simple there's nothing I can do, and refusal to give me the employees name who can't read a label even though they work at Starbucks where you read labels all day long. You're refusing to give me a name? I've worked in customer service for over 15 years, and never once have I, or my fellow employees refused to give a name to a customer. You work in a PUBLIC setting. I told her that I can walk into the restaurant and READ EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEES NAME TAG, and yet she still refused as if I was asking for a personal address or phone number. Appalling, and disgusting behavior from this location. Katrina said she would coach the barista but I'm not sure how you teach a grown adult to read? Why is this person working here? Then again, I had called ahead, prior to my order even being made, to tell Katrina to please make sure there was no ice as last time I ordered from this location they put ice as well, and she couldn't follow through with that simple task either. So clearly this is just a Starbucks full of morons. I can't imagine someone going into this location with a complicated drink order since the simplest of tasks cannot be followed. The worst part though actually is the lack of sincerity in the supervisors voice, and no type of compensation offered to rectify this situation. I've been a customer for years but Starbucks has 100% gone downhill. Disgusting! Please start hiring back employees who can actually do the job correctly. read more

Okay so I just got served my nitro cool brew coffee by the Flash, not even joking. I ordered it outside on my mobile app, walked inside, not even 15 secs went by and he asked me if I made a mobile order. Hands-down probably one of the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I go to it since it seems to be the most convenient location yet I have been disappointed almost every time. There have been multiple times where I do the online order and they still manage to get the order incorrect (ex: sometimes I'll order a hot latte and I'll get the an iced latte). This morning I ordered a light ice beverage and it came full of ice not even half way... the espresso tasted burnt and they barely put enough soy milk. I say this bc I get the same order every-time and you can tell the difference. Sometimes it's better to just drive an extra couple miles to another location (ex: the one on Sepulveda and Nordoff has a really good record and they always make my drink right). read more

This is my daily go to starbucks. Minimum once a day, most days twice. Used to be great, i think a guy named Jose was the team lead, very on top of the orders, professional, timely. I usually order before i leave my house and its about a 5 min drive over there, I honestly dont mind waiting if it sometimes takes longer. But idk what was going on last week, i did the same thing, get there and theres a TON, i mean maybe 30-40 people inside this small starbucks all waiting. A guy waiting told me they just announced all drinks will be 30-40 mins delayed from the time its supposed to be due. Huh? Luckily i work close by too so i left and came an hour later. I walk up to the drink spot and the girl behind the counter says , its about an hour from when you ordered your drink. I told her were about there and she asked for my name and walked back. Another employee came up to me and said sorry its a busy day with the cups and all. Ok cool, I understand, without complaints i left and came back to still no coffee an hour later. The worst coffee is served at this location. You ask for extra ice they will make sure to put less than the amount it should have. You ask for a extra shot of espresso, they will charge you but they won't add the shot. Thieves. Here is advice for you Starbucks owners, workers, shoppers- ANYONE CANNOT MAKE COFFEE. Just because you can mix a few liquids doesn't make you a "barista" knowing how to make good coffee makes you a "barista". I make much better lattes with my Nespresso machine than this garbage they are serving. Check out the image of the drink they gave me today, clearly states extra ice, and quad meaning extra shot of espresso. The drink is milky in color so I know they didn't add the espresso shot, and you can see the amount of ice they put it in. Absolute trash. This has happened so many times that I finally had to leave this review. I do not recommend going to this location if you want quality for your dollar. This Starbucks is in a little shopping plaza right by Knollwood Country Club. There's plenty of parking spaces, so no worries about that! It also isn't a drive through :). I went in around 8:30 am on a Wednesday and it was fairly crowded. There were seats open, and there was outside seating, but I didn't feel like sitting next to anyone and opted to take my drink to the car. The cashier's were friendly, and let me take my time as I perused the drink list (I don't go to Starbucks often lol). And decided on a simple small, iced black tea drink with one pump sugar and toasted banana bread. Got into my car, wolfed down the bread because I was starving, so I don't remember what it tasted like, and leisurely sipped my tea. The tea wasn't too sweet, which I appreciated, and it was refreshing. Afterwards I made my way to Knollwood Country Club for my compay meeting! read more
