Located at North Shore Gateway, Starbucks shares a parking lot with other businesses, so it can get crowded at peak times. Inside, it was clean, nicely air-conditioned, and had a convenient restroom! We saw the Hawaii Limited Edition items first, then walked to the back corner where there were sale items (like Christmas tumblers) and Year of the Snake cups. Yay! Irene has good eyes! I got the last tumbler and went to the cashier. I was able to use stars! (400 stars = $20) Yippee! I wasn't offered a package like at other locations. That's ok... save the trees! Well hidden... Located in Haleiwa would be kinda a stretch as this North Shore Gateway is located right across the Welcome to Haleiwa sign so as I drove in it was on the right which is why I don't really see it as a driver and the minimalistic that the town desires keeps things quite hidden in a low key vibe and with thank goodness for Yelp to guide me the way as I had no idea that it existed regardless that I just had lunch at KillerTacos which is just steps away lol! Walking in I was quite impressed with how large it really was and the amount of seating it provides, we made a stop specifically to search for a specific cup which we sorta found but I couldn't resist grabbing a drink which is always nice as you earn points (25 bonus) for bringing in your own cup along with a ten cents discount for the cup is always nice nice as it's the reasons that we're able to use them for future freebies. You never know what you'll find in Haleiwa Town as this was an unexpected discovery but the staff all are nice and friendly making my drink efficiently along with a decent amount of free parking making it a breeze for this fun stop. I stopped by my local Starbucks because I needed to get out of the house. Working from home can be strenuous on the mind and body. Lots of snacking...lol. I ventured out to Haleiwa Starbucks and picked up my free birthday drink. Medium Hot Chocolate without whipped cream. The manager was really nice. She gave me my drink today even tho yesterday was my birthday. All the young ladies were happily working and it just made for a delightful experience. So as I sit here outside perishing for my meeting. The location is super busy. The customers walk in and immediately walk out. That's pure productivity at its best. By the way, my Hot Chocolate is da bomb. Great place to get some work done and grab a bite to eat. read more

First time at this location and was pleasantly surprised. Located in the beginning of Old Haleiwa Town right off the freeway. Not much parking, but doable if you are craving a delicious Starbucks drink. This location is pretty big with lots of room for social distancing with plenty of seating if you need a break. Service was quick and the Baristas are really friendly. They have a bunch of them making drinks, but the seem to be able to function well. My drink was made well and and I noticed they have a few new drinks coming this Spring. Can't wait to try them. read more

I've never left a bad review before in my life just a little sad about this. Ordered 2 venti pink drinks at 5:30 pm when they close at 6:30 pm. They were clearly cleaning early so they could get off and close early. They had cleaned all their shakers so instead of using one for a pink drink, she blended it. It left it super foamy and poured the leftovers (because there was SO much foam) down the sink. The 2nd photo is how much drink I had after I scooped out the foam. I honestly wouldn't have cared if she gave us the right amount in another cup. That would have been okay I can scoop off the foam and I am not a complainer. But this is an expensive drink to pay $7 per venti and only get it filled up about halfway. I got my usually order of a Venti Iced Chai Tea, 6 pumps cinnamon Dulce, light ice, with vanilla sweet crème cold foam. So today I wanted a free cup of coffee for Veterans Day, first time doing so with Starbucks, heck i dont even come here often as I prefer local small boxes when it comes to my morning mojo, and the only other Starbuck Ive been known to grow and love is the one from Battlestar Galactica lol. I'm skeptical places even honor these offers and able to match the same luxuries given to this entity called the "Mainland" but just thought Id give it a swirl today. I was surprised with the cleanliness, service, and overall theme look of this place which was a stark contrast to the more modern squarish themes going on with most of the other Starbuck places round here. It felt more like a country tavern feel to it with the entry just located at the delta like entrance of Old Country Haliewa. The outside patio lines the exterior as morning sippers or guzzlers gander and mingle at the entering patrons at tbe tune of whizzing passerby cars. The barista was happy to accomadate my request and I was in and out in a minute. No I don't normally heavily support national chains over local ones, but moreso, I support the workers and setup they got going on here. I LOVE this Starbucks! I used to work at a Starbucks myself in the SF Bay Area and this one has a really great vibe and the baristas all seem really happy and relaxed. I really wanted to buy one of those cool pineapple cups that are only sold at Starbucks in Hawaii and they were nice enough to offer us a bag since people have been known to drop them lol. We also ordered a grande filthy chai (two espresso shots) with almond milk and it was perfect! They really know what they are doing here. The snacks are good too. I love the egg protein boxes and fruit cups. This Starbucks is conveniently located right next to a bunch of neat beaches and stores. There is ample parking and a lot of places to sit inside if you like to hang out inside Starbucks while enjoying your drink. The bathrooms are super clean and well-maintained! There is a code to get in which is written on a piece of tape outside the bathroom door. Can't wait to come back and visit this location again! read more

Today I went in to this Starbucks to do some studying. Every other Starbucks I bring my dog, he behaves and all is good. I go to this location and as soon as I walk through the door, the manager approaches me with a confrontational attitude. She informs me loud and clear in front of the entire establishment that I need to get my dog outside and that no dogs are allowed. I asked her why I am allowed to bring my dog into every other Starbucks establishment and she told me they aren't following the rules. It's not a big deal I couldn't bring my dog, but the way the lady handled the situation was very embarrassing and came across as very rude. read more

The best Starbucks on Oahu! The staff here is always in a brewtiful mood. Danny the GM leads a great team of baristas that always make you feel welcome. I prefer to order ahead and have never had to wait too long for my order. They have a great selection of gift cards and merch to choose from (believe it or not it was hard for me to find Christmas gift cards at other locations) The store is beautiful and spacious. Before Covid I enjoyed working here once a week. Now the dining area is closed and I appreciate that bc Starbucks Haleiwa is refusing to discriminate against people based on their medical decisions. read more

What I like about this location is at the crossroads of almost all direction from Haleiwa to Wahiawa or Waialua or out to North Shore. Parking can be hectic especially during early morning rush hour or lunch time since it is shared with other establishments in the area. Few times I came here, it confused me; almost always open the wrong door heading to the other office next door. I would really appreciate if there is a sign by the left side door, something Starbucks sign. It has an open indoor layout, tables and chairs pushed aside next to the glass windows. it got a table in the back with a very limited outlet for customers to use when studying or charging. The staff are somewhat courteous, very welcoming, seemed friendly. The store is very well organized. Because this location is at the crossroad, peeps like to use the restroom and it gets crazy busy in there. If I can have a wish to come true about this location is to add 1 more restroom, more tables good for groups, and more outlet. Shoutout to the staff. Keep crushing it. read more

came into town from laie with my mom to go to bakery and then coffee; waited in line behind 3-4 males to whom the baristas were VERY attentive, as soon as it was my turn to order the baristas couldnt be bothered to even look at me when taking my order. Instead the baristas(all female staff this morning) ALLL FIVE OF THEM decided to talk amongst themselves while i TRIED to order. I ended up only ordering half of what i wanted because of their blatant lack of customer service when its a female ordering. absolutely repulsive. i tell them my name for when what i ordered is ready. they call out the male customers names and aske them if they need anything else napkins carrier etc. BUT WHEN ITS MY TURN it was a brief shout out and toss of my order no smile no question on whether i needed a drink carrier even tho i obviously dont have more than two hands. ridiculous customer service and so you know who was working managers it was SUNDAY FEBRUARY 16TH at 9am go ahead and watch the cameras and teach your staff that customer service applies to everyone not just the young men they want to flirt with. love starbucks hate this place will not be coming back rudest staff ever. read more

I'll ALWAYS be upset that a starbucks opened up in Haleiwa. I grew up here my whole life and I'm 22 so to see "Old Historic Haleiwa Town" not so old and historic upsets me; it's exponentially become more touristy over the years. Starbucks in general does not fit the Haleiwa/North Shore vibe and it definitely is not something I expected would be welcomed into Haleiwa with open arms (what happened to support local?). With that being said, regardless it's here and I can't change that, but I did have to express how I feel - as a Haleiwa/Waialua local - about a starbucks opening up in a town that used to have it's own quiet, country character to itself. Lately, I've been coming to this starbucks a lot to study, read, and I've been able to meet some nice strangers here. I always sit at the bar where they leave their drinks because there's so much space there and I don't like to use a table to myself. Besides, even if I wanted a table I have never seen one open - so that's a sign it's always busy. Don't get me wrong, I love the local artisan hipster coffee scene, but sometimes when you are in a jam all you want is a corporate chain that you can depend on. After eating lunch in Haleiwa, all I wanted was a Starbuck's protein box, a green juice and three vanilla scones. I didn't want something farm to table that was going to take 25 minutes to make or have to wait in line for another 15 minutes with a group of tourists. I wanted to get what I wanted and be in and out in less than five minutes. We drove into the parking lot, walked into a very beautiful and modern Starbucks, ordered our items and were on our way in five minutes. I could have cried because it was the first thing in my day that was pure perfection. Does watered down, cookie cutter progress come at a price? Yes. Okay let me just start off with how AMAZING this Starbucks is! I swear they have THE NICEST employees that you will ever meet! They really go above and beyond to make sure that your experience is amazing! And there is nothing nicer than walking in and have everyone say good morning to you over the counter, you just can't help but feel happy! Okay and now to their drinks, my go to drink is a Trenta iced coffee with vanilla cold foam. And I don't know if they just have a different technique or what, but there drinks just taste so much better then any other place! Which is why I just can't help but come in every morning. Maybe I'm a little biased since this Starbucks is so convenient for my hubby and I. We used to get our early morning drinks getting up abd leaving our house an hour earlier each day to rush up and stand in a very ridiculously long line at the Schofield Starbucks. We've always had our drinks prepared as ordered in person but find it a lot more pleasant to order them using the mobile app so we can just find our names on our drinks and food have a seat or take them out. They do have quite a change over in Baristas but we have never had a bad experience with any of them and you couldn't ask for a better location as it is right at the beginning of Haleiwa town right by weed circle and 711, pick up your drinks and right back on the road you'll be. Only wished they had at least 2 stalls in the front just dedicated for their Mobile pickup orders. Sometimes we have trouble finding parking. read more

I never have to explain this at coffee bean and tea leaf . The frap ended up weak even after a shot. And the ice wasn't blended well . The were chunks of ice. I really don't understand how they couldn't understand that. Coffee bean and tea leaf gets it right 99% of the time. And the coffee comes out super strong and the flavor is wonderful. I never have to explain to them what extra thick means . I just don't get it. . My daughter had to instruct the barista on how to make her drink also. I will not return .
