Quality is there. I get this via my Church and the beans are just as delicious as Starbucks and cheaper as well as local. Love these beans.

It seems like this is not only a spot for tours, it seemed like locals and military personnel know about this place and stop by for a cup of coffee. I like how they have an actual cafe with fun drinks and muffins and pastries, which is probably what brings in local guests. They have samples of certain coffees inside the gift shop plus a lot of fun gifts. The coffee is a bit pricy but I landed on getting the coffee cake flavor. I typically do not love flavored coffee, but the sample was so good, I hope once we grind it is is as good as while being here. Some of the other dark roasts were also really good but even more expensive. If they coffee we purchased turns out to taste good, I would purchase more next time. They told us they coffee gets replaced at least once a week and they roast it fresh. I loved how you can walk through the coffee plants and see the berries. It was a beautiful little garden area and a lot of fun. It was like being on a vineyard but for coffee. And for me and my family, coffee is a daily treat.

You can try small coffee samples and taste different varieties before making a purchase. There was a great selection of coffees available, and as coffee lovers, we really enjoyed the experience. The staff was friendly, and we were happy with our visit. If you love coffee, this is definitely a place worth stopping by. It is a small attraction, and around 30 minutes is enough to explore, taste the coffees, and enjoy the atmosphere.

The coffee was clumpy and had noticeable bits of espresso or chocolate debris in the drink, which made the texture unpleasant. The worker was very nice and friendly, so I have no complaints about the service. Their indoor space felt a little crammed as customers were left confused as to where to wait for their drinks. Indoor seating is gone. There used to be a lot of space that added a lot to the ambiance and made ChadLou's feel like a cozy place to enjoy a coffee. Without it, the atmosphere just doesn't feel the same anymore.

I mispronounced the name of the bakery...but so did the barista, definitely a tongue-twister. I've had them before at the Kailua Farmers Market. It's a bit dry but tasty. They also offer Sage Creamery pints and cups,...that are tantamount to a Keiki-sized portion. B I had a donut...good...and a keiki cup...very good. If it seems that I am on a quest to find every available retail spot on Oahu to acquire some ice cream from Sage's...well, you are wise to my endeavor. Ube Crinkle was amazfreezing. Traditional macchiato was good.

They also sell their own assortment of whole coffee beans which is locally made and physically sold in store locally on Kalakaua Ave. There is an online website as an alternative. This time around, my boyfriend and I went together! Because the cafe opens early, we were up early and walked from our hotel. It was not a bad walk either ~ it was 10-15 min. The line is a bit long but moves swiftly. Once you enter the cafe, there are two registers you can choose to order from. One register you can order beans, merch, anything from their food menu, pastries and drinks. I got the hot cocoa with oat milk (since I don't drink coffee). I had ordered this before and I loved it! My boyfriend ordered the Kona affogato. Estimated wait time for our drinks was maybe 15-20 min. The pastries we had were amazing. Black sesame kouignn amann and banana chocolate almond croissant was 5/5! I wish we had more! I didn't take a picture of the pastries because they were devoured quickly.

POV: You're on Vacation in Hawaii... So Naturally, You Need to Try the Coffee 3 Times…read more Hubby--and especially HUBBY --is a huge espresso/coffee person, so wherever we travel, exploring coffee shops is basically part of the itinerary. Me? I'm not nearly as obsessed... but I'm slowly becoming a latte girly, especially when it's smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. So tell me WHY we were only in Hawaii for four days and somehow ended up here THREE TIMES?! I'm combining all three visits into one review because clearly we had some things to say! Location: If you're staying at the Sheraton Waikiki, this spot is only about a 6-minute walk, which made it way too convenient for us. WAIT TIMES: This is IMPORTANT! Our first two visits were around 12:30 PM, and the wait was actually pretty reasonable--around 15-25 minutes. Then we decided to be smart and come EARLY on our last day because they open around 5 AM. We arrived at 7 AM thinking, "Look at us beating the crowd!" WRONG. There were easily 50+ people ahead of us, and it took around 1 hour and 10 minutes before we finally got our order. So yes... apparently coming early does NOT mean you're beating the crowd here. If anything, the morning rush is WILD. Black Sesame Latte -- 9/10 | ~$7 THIS. WAS. DIVINE. I ended up getting the Black Sesame Latte on two of our visits, and I absolutely loved it. The latte was so beautifully made--smooth, creamy, and balanced with that subtle black sesame flavor underneath. It wasn't aggressively sweet, which is exactly what I'm starting to appreciate in a good latte. That little hint of nuttiness from the black sesame with the espresso? SO GOOD. Hubby approved, coffee girly approved. Honey Latte -- 6/10 | ~$7 I really wanted to love this one, but the honey flavor was WAY too subtle for me. I was expecting a little more of that natural honey sweetness, but it honestly got lost in the latte for me. It wasn't bad, just not my favorite--and I probably wouldn't order it again. Black Sesame Croissant -- 9/10 | ~$7 OH. MY. GOODNESS. This little croissant was SO GOOD and paired perfectly with the Black Sesame Latte. Flaky, buttery, delicious, with that black sesame flavor tying everything together. Honestly, the combination of the Black Sesame Latte + Black Sesame Croissant was my favorite order of the entire trip. And now I'm sitting here wishing this spot was in California because I would absolutely be back. Overall, this became one of those unexpected Hawaii spots that I know I'll think about once I'm back home. Word of advice: If you're planning to visit, definitely be prepared for a wait. The line can get CRAZY, especially in the morning. Was the coffee worth it? Absolutely. Would I wait 1 hour and 10 minutes again? Probably not. I'd come back at a different time, preferably when the line isn't looking like a Disney attraction. Three visits in four days says enough. Happy Drinks & Happy Eats!

There is also a little coffee museum in the cafe that features the history of the company (they also provide coffee roastery tours!) My go-to drink is the iced creme brûlée latte. I always get the Thai Latte and normally the aunty there will make it, and she makes it with care, I know this much because my drink almost always tastes the same when she makes it. It's kind of a hole in the wall, unless you're looking for this spot you won't notice it's there even with the A frame sign. When you walk in you're greeted with bags of coffee and different types of teas and in the far back corner you will notice a coffee museum. I believe they do little tours here too. They cater to the tourist pretty well and are pretty friendly when they help them out, I have witnessed this first hand.
