Iced caramel macchiato aka iced caramel latte

I'm a picky coffee drinker & I ordered their caramel iced macchiato aka Carmel latte. It was really freaking good! Great customer service and look how cute it was! Mmm I'll be back!

This place was a godsend for me. I was staying on the North Shore but wanted to go hiking on the windward side, I wanted to get a REALLY early start. These kind souls open at 5:30 am. And they are surprisingly kind while not being over cheery. (we all know non-morning people can't tolerate a lot of cheer in the mornings from pro-morning people) I'm not a great judge of coffee, but the coffee here was solid. It didn't hurt that this was walking distance to our AirBnB. I know, I know it's a chain...and I'm on vacation in Hawaii. Still, the friendliness and early-openness override the chainyness. (take that, Grammar National Socialists!)

    Convenient Foodland Location.

Chain store coffee? Really? Mikey, why you go somewhere on vacation and patronize the same chains you do at home? Um, ok, good question. Grew up in Berkeley. Always thought of myself as an independent coffee shop kind of guy. Recently sent a mouth swab to 23 and Me. Found out I'm not as indie as I thought. Barely indie at all. To my chagrin, my chromosomes revealed I'm about 60% Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and 35% Peet's. So, yeah, I know. 5% indie. That's just sad. But, yeah, whatever, I don't care. Because, the thing is, I go to CB&TL for a reason: their espresso drinks are consistently excellent. Had a terrific latte here. They took care to make it just exactly as I like it. Nothing fancy, ok? No super cute animal pictures in the foam. Just a damn good espresso. Mikey C says: I'm fine with that.

This is a convenient location off the highway in the North shore. It's connected to the grocery market so you can shop and get a good coffee. It's popular but the service is quick. I recommend this place.

Gang this is the Extra Large Hazelnut coffee extreme with whipped cream! Oh yeah...

Coffee bean in north shore? Whaaaaaaaaaat??? Everywhere I go I have to get coffee bean. LOVE: i can enjoy my favorite coffee place at my favorite location on the island: north shore. Same great taste. Awesome customer service. Always a bonus. SUPER fast. I think it came out the SAME minute I ordered it! NOT SO MUCH: It's in Foodland. I'm not a fan of it being in grocery stores, but some people think it's convenient. Actually it was pretty convenient. But still. I would like a peaceful atmosphere. And the hustle and bust of grocery customers doesn't cut it. The ambience and everything..... ehhh.. no. Way to close to Foodland. Also too small. I think inside only has the counters and bar stools. Not a lot of room outside either. Four stars because I AM A FAN! Even with the bad some people still may see it as good. For me it was an easy in and out. And at this location the ambiance wouldn't have mattered anyways. I would bring my lovely dark chocolate blend to the beautiful beach!

Waited at the counter and was not helped. Worker saw me then walked to the back, did not come out. Was waiting for 5-10 minutes.

Thankful for this spot while visiting the North Shore. It's a little hidden gem. We grabbed a Vietnamese coffee and it was great!

I came in a few times before and just never committed to getting anything but since today was so cold and I needed caffeine I braved the line and decided to give it a chance. Honestly if it wasn't so cold I would have left. Because the cashier was talking to a customer for several minutes about other people and clothing before taking her order. I guess if it was just me and a couple others maybe it wouldnt be so bad but there was 7 people behind me and the cashier didnt seem to care. I mean the customer seemed to be initiating the conversation and did most of the talking and so I can understand the cashier just being polite. But it seems like this lady comes in often but seriously it leaves a bad impression on others. I was ready to give this place 2 or 3 stars but then I tried the match which made the experience 3.5. But since its a small business I rounded up instead of down. It is a cute little shop but not alot of seating and not alot of parking. The pastries looked good but we're ro pricy for me. A muffin for 6.50 is just a bit to much. But again if you like matcha I highly recommend checking this place out

We shared the pecan pie, pineapple muffin, and pumpkin muffin. I really liked the pecan pie crust. Both the muffins were moist, and I enjoyed the chunks of fruit in the pineapple one. I wanted to get savory food, but they were sold out by the time we got there. I also got a golden turmeric latte. I don't really know what I was expecting from a golden turmeric latte, but it just tasted earthy. Nothing amazing about it, but I'm sure it had great health benefits. Service was super friendly even though it was rather busy when we went. There was lots of seating in this cute covered area separated from the shop. I liked how quiet it was compared to the inside of the shop where they are calling out orders. I'm so sad that this place is closing after serving Haleiwa for so many years!
