This my go to place fr, staff are always nice n welcoming, place looks great whenever i walk in, my drink is always made correctly by each staff because it's only one order lol. Food and drinks are all good. What makes this place better is that the workers get along with there customers n have connections, which is why they always come back to this exact starbucks. We were at T Mobile and our 9 year old daughter really needed to use the restroom so my wife took her to Starbucks next door. The manager on duty told my wife "They need to buy something for her to use the bathroom" "Thats the policy" They pointed at a sign near the door and nothing on that sign says you have to make a purchase to use the restroom. My question on this is. How does a business who has a public restroom known if someone has a medical condition or not without providing documents? I've written 40,000 words of prose on my novel at this location, the staff is terrific and always friendly, the drinks are delicious and this location is always clean. I've never had a drink here I didn't like! If you're in the mood for coffee and are in the area you can't go wrong! The only thing I'd change if I could is the hours--there are some Starbucks in Greece that are open until midnight (or even later) and I think that is dope as f! :) read more

Thursday, 3/21/24 this the first time I experienced the worst customer service at this location. They had people waiting for over 15-20 mins waiting on their drinks after the drinks were made. I ordered two identical drinks one tasted like syrup and the other one was perfect. I can tell there was no espresso shots added. One lady stood there 10 minutes before me and her drinks were sitting. Bag and never said anything to her. She finally asked about it and the Blonde gal responded look we are busy! TLDR: Ample seating with convenient outlets makes this Starbucks a definite stop for studying. A slightly larger Starbucks located in one of the smaller shopping centers in Hayward, this branch offers a decent amount of seating for studying/relaxing + a small bar area. This branch can certainly get busy, and I have been by around 5PM a few times without being able to get a seat. The employees are all extremely nice, and they tend to be well staffed, with multiple people taking orders and making drinks. The longest I've had to wait here has been a few minutes for my drinks... nothing too out of the ordinary. Some of the tables do need fixing/repolishing, as they are made mostly of wooden tops. But then the staff closes everything 15 minutes prior to closing time because they need to "clean" and says they can no longer serve coffee or food only hot teas because anything else would require cleaning up. My favorite Starbucks in the Hayward area! It's located in the same shopping center as Target, and next to Subway. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It seems like it would be a nice study spot, as it doesn't get too crowded or loud. I may just be coming at off-peak hours, but every time I go, there's never a line of more than a couple people. I was here a few days ago- I ordered an iced cappuccino with oat milk, which I've been told by baristas is a rare drink to make (you should try it though!). The barista was asking another employee how to make it, which made me a little nervous, but it ended up being exactly how I like it! I came in this morning to treat my grandson before taking him to school. I ordered my usual which is a tall blonde in a grande cup. For my grandson, I ordered a plan bagel with cream cheese and a chocolate milk, they were out of plan bagels so I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel instead. Well, apparently Sarah neglected to charge me .75 for the cream cheese even though she asked if I wanted cream cheese, since they had no plan bagels. Here's my biggest disappointment. Chris, someone who I see regularly as I am a regular at this Starbucks, without knowing or asking me about my order, makes a scene and goes as far as to say that I didn't ask for cream cheese therefor I didn't get charged, I have to charge you. Mind you Sarah did ask, to clarify my order but didn't ring it up and my grandson is waiting to eat the bagel with his chocolate milk, before it gets cold. I attempted to explain to Chris that I come in here daily, sometimes twice, I don't need to be treated like this over an oversight of his colleague Sarah and Chris quickly dismissed me. This experience was very upsetting to put it mildly, very unprofessional and embarrassing. I've attached pictures as proof to show just how often I patronize this specific location. It was my favorite location closest to my home but not anymore. Chris shame on you for not hearing me out and for not seizing the moment to try and make it right, extremely disappointed! This particular Starbucks has a nice outdoor seating area, although not a sectioned off patio, and also a nice comfortable indoor seating area. The typical Starbucks drinks, baked goods, and items for purchase. What I found a little disturbing was an employee was was constantly sneezing with his hands yet didn't wash his hands after the fact nor in the following ten minutes. I'm not germophobe and I still ate my scone, but it just lingered in my mind. Also, the restrooms require a key. The bulky keys for the restrooms, both men and woman, are sitting in a basket that's on the same food counter. It's impossible to hold to key, wash your hand, and bring back the key to the basket without possibly contaminating your hands. Again I don't have a huge problem with this but I rather not get the flu from simply wanting to wash from hands. Can't we just unlock the doors for all to use? Is this a Starbucks or a gas station? The final nail in the head was the wifi. I wasn't aware that you need to have an AT&T roaming wifi plan to access the wifi. What the hell. I just bought something from Starbucks and now I have to pay for wifi? Now I really have a reason to go to independent wifi coffee shops. The lemon poppyseed scone I had was okay. It turns into indigestible rock the next day, so eat it the day of purchase. The best thing about this place is the air conditioning which other indie places usually do not host. This used to be the best location. Now, with phone orders and being understaffed at 7:00 am the line and waiting time can be 5 minutes one morning to 22 minutes the next morning. This makes it difficult to get to work on time. The employees at this location are hard working, I think this is management issues. I see a lot of customers walking out of line and leaving. This goes for myself several times. I hope they can come up with better customer service. read more

The flow of traffic here is great. I feel like whenever I am here I can find a spot to sit down. I am a little sad that they got rid of their couches, but I assumed they did so to make room for more tables. I love the little bar stool section, I don't know of any other Starbucks around the area that has one. Baristas here are friendly and quick. One of the "gems" of this coffee chain in the heart of the Bay! Every time I went (either with family or friends) - it's usually hectic, but the baristas here are so used to it that they are so efficiently fast! It didn't take us too long to get our drinks considering how busy they were. The baristas were all very nice too and they always had a smile on their face despite how busy they were! Quickly processed our order & served us diligently. I'm always impressed by the staff, but during this morning's pick me up visit (for my #MotivationMonday) - it stood out even more! Food and coffee was of the usual excellent standard. When you don't like a drink they replace it with something else. If you are not satisfied with your experience at Starbucks, they always make sure you have a better experience next time when you call the customer service line, and let them know what's going on. Starbucks rewards are awesome with earning stars to get free drinks or a bite to eat if you want instead. The quality of the coffee and food is the great you get what you pay for! Customizing your preferred drinks just makes it a wonderful experience to be a Starbucks rewards cardholder & get your stars to get some freebies, LOL. Keep it up Starbucks! Kudos! In the same shopping center of target, can get pretty busy usually, but I like the quietness most of the times when I can get a table to study and just relax.
