For every weekend in December, Starbucks is giving out free short Hot Chocolate with every grande drink ordered from 12pm-6pm. I got here about 6:15pm and the barista still honored the promo. Thank you so much. Since it's been cold lately I've been getting the hot Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai. It's my go to these days. I love this drink. I also tried the Cranberry Bliss Bar. Dang, I didn't know it was going to be this good. I thought it was going to be way sweeter by just looking at it, but it wasn't. That bar was just perfect. Everyone should try this at least once. You must know by now that I love Starbucks. I'm there almost everyday. I have a huge collection of their cups and need to stop, lol. They also sent me an invite earlier in the year to join their Starbucks Odyssey app. They're currently beta testing it. I racked up a whole bunch of points and redeemed it for a T-shirt. It should be coming in the mail soon.

This is our favorite Starbucks location in this area. The staff is always friendly and quick with our orders but the best part is they have the ice! Haha that's what my son calls it, it's the small ice that can easily be chewed on. Every time I get my drink, I get him a cup of ice as well.

It's all in the stars... Lately there been quite a commotion...uhhhh promotions with Starbucks on their Wins-day deal and double stars weekend on all drinks and food purchases especially combined with offers it's been so hard to resist. It's hard to play favorites as each location does vary for many reasons but this Nuuanu Shopping Plaza formerly The Hungry Lion location is a cozy spot. Parking is never an issue though seating is decent but one thing never changed here for as long as I knew is that they never closed their restroom...code needed for sure but as many still to this day keeps it closed and you have no idea how much I seriously appreciate that and for many other reason why I stop here. The staff here has always been friendly the decor is nice and artsy with huge windows that brings in a lot of light or for you to gaze out and chill. Thank you for supplying me with treats and relief as I'm extremely grateful! Thank you!

This store is near a freeway entrance so LOTS of foot traffic in and out of this location. Hood sized parking lot with lots of cars also coming in and out (for their mobile orders) - but usually can easily find an open stall. Friendly staff and most mornings the mobile orders are quickly made. I really wanted to rate 4 stars..... ....BUT -- this has happened too many times (see pic posted) that I have to write a review. My $8 venti ...missing so much! If it wasn't expensive, it would be a non-issue or if it could even be just a little closer to the fill line? Otherwise, drinks usually are made well and taste the way they are expected to taste.

Starbucks Nuuanu is in close proximity to my home and office. Located in the old Chun Hoon Supermarket location turned Walgreen's and now only a few merchants remain, Starbucks being one of them. Parking is plentiful. Staffing here more pleasant than normal. Sitting area is clean and relatively quiet for a Starbucks. Best place for a Starbuck's if you are in the area. NUFF said

Foam and that's how much coffee I found. Wasn't even filled to the rim. Maybe can I pay half the amount for this??
    Kim B.

I feel that the more crowded they get the less they concentrate on your drink. I got a toffee nut soy latte no whip but some strange foam and the coffee wasn't even to the top. I'm not trying to spend $6+ for air. This isn't the first time this happens so this is why I give a complaint. Everyone works hard for the money to get coffee. If it is like this then I can make coffee foam at home and not spend so much. This is my treat, come on Starbucks!!!

    Gooey stuff

I see gooey stuff at the bottom of my drink and drink taste water down. Very dissatisfied

I ordered at the register, and she made my drink immediately. I was intrigued by their Haupia Matcha Latte. I love all things Haupia, so it seemed like the perfect match. I got the Haupia Matcha Latte with Oat Milk, and it was superb. I loved how creamy it was, how the sweetness of the haupia shone, but the earthiness of the matcha was still there. The ambiance felt very artisanal and apothecary-like, similar to a Le Labo or Kiehl's store. I didn't know this at the time, but Pono Potions specializes in syrups using natural flavors from around the island. It was a little busy when we went, but the wait was not too long.  The content creator specifically recommended the Hapa Honey and to substitute the coffee for matcha, so that was exactly what I did. The drink was topped with a pineapple foam and drizzled with a delicious honey lilikoi syrup. I am such a big fan of passionfruit and loved how well the lilikoi flavor blended with the honey and pineapple. I loved how the profile of this drink showcased the flavors of Hawai'i. And now that I know that you can buy their syrups online, I may grab a couple of bottles myself! My friends got the iced and hot Pauahi, a latte with caramelized macadamia nut syrup and topped with toasted macadamia nut. This drink was also really good! I totally recommend Po'Ai by Pono Potions. I love that they create their own syrups. The menu also felt very unique and showcased Hawaiian flavors. I would definitely come back if I ever had the opportunity to.
