Maybe I get lucky? The barista's I've interacted with are nice. I periodically pickup a cardamom latte for my wife and she enjoys it.

DONT GO HERE! Always lying about their espresso machine being down. Always closed. Not worth your time at all.

The Lava Mocha is hands down my favorite mocha I've ever had. Rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. It was the reason I came back and waited! Mauna Kea Iced Coffee is my FAVORITE coffee of all time. I will be drooling over this coffee until I return. It has coffee, sea salt caramel, a scoop of ice cream, and black sea salt. Already it sounds delicious and it was. I finished my drink within 5 minutes. I didn't order any food this time, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. The menu is extensive with plenty of options, making it a great place for brunch whether you're craving something sweet or savory. The café also has a small section selling Island Vintage merchandise, which is fun to browse while you're waiting. If you choose to sit outside, don't be surprised if a few birds decide to join you for breakfast and they're regulars too.. Overall, despite the longer wait for drinks, the quality of the coffee, inviting atmosphere, and tempting menu make this a spot I'd happily visit again.

(Why isn't there a SEPARATE PAGE for B Patisserie!?!?) Anyway, be prepared to wait in line, but it moves pretty quickly. Oahu, you are VERY fortunate to have Chef Belinda Leong's creations available !(SUPER jealous!) Every time we're in San Francisco, B Patisserie is always on our Foodtinerary and these items are always on our hit list, so we repeated it here on Oahu: Classic Kougin Amann Black Sesame Kougin Amann Chocolate Banana Almond Croissant Butter Croissant Chocolate Chip Cookie Passionfruit Bostock Iced Latte Cappuccino and finally, Hazelnut slice... Prices are reasonable, and the vibe is chaotic, but it's definitely worth a visit. GO!!!!

To be honest it wasn't until I just so happened to walk through Royal Hawaiian that I noticed this place existed. I suffer from FOMO, and maybe that's what brought people in as well. I waited in line for 45mins lol. I really had no agenda and honestly curious. They have a lot of Staff and none of them looked happy to be there, but I get it.. every second you look up there's just crowd of people but inside and out, it's overwhelming. But yes, 1st interaction with everyone was very cold and monotoned. I ordered 3 kough aimann ,2 almond croissant, and a scone. For my drink 1 triple shot with a splash of oat milk. All the K.A. were stale, the almond croissant was delicious (recommend) the Scone was so hard I actually fed it the the birds. My espresso was so bitter and burnt I tossed it. Obviously not worth the $50 lackluster experience or time wasted. There are literally so many better options for coffee alone in Waikiki and on the outskirts.

The environment they've curated in here is so unique, it's something you can't really replicate or find anywhere else on the island. The photos show a couple of our favorites. Lee Jae loves the Sakura Matcha and I'm all about the Lavender Matcha. Their syrups are house made too, which is a huge plus and something I always look for in a cafe. I do wish they did have more milk options though! I love soy milk but always have to opt in for regular milk. Other than that everything still tastes amazing! The service is top tier every time, and they even bring the drinks right to you. The staff is so welcoming and they really know their plants, so if you ever need help or you're hunting for something specific they've got you. If you're in town or visiting, it's definitely worth stopping by for a drink or plant!

I'd been curious about trying their matcha offerings, so I was excited. We came on a holiday morning, and there wasn't anyone inside. The cafe is cute and vibey! Love how pet-friendly it is with the polaroids--I'd definitely bring my pup here. There's also a decent amount of seating to hang out or work at. Service was fine. I ordered at the register, and she made my drink immediately. I was intrigued by their Haupia Matcha Latte. I love all things Haupia, so it seemed like the perfect match. I got the Haupia Matcha Latte with Oat Milk, and it was superb. I loved how creamy it was, how the sweetness of the haupia shone, but the earthiness of the matcha was still there. I'd definitely recommend this drink and am curious about their others. Hello Again is a nice cafe addition to Chinatown. Super late review -…read more I'm sad. I really wanted to love this place but I just couldn't. I don't want to be that person when this place has an overall rating of 4.5 but this is just my honest opinion. I got the blue dream and yes it was very ascetically pleasing, but it was just too icy. Before coming to this place i read a couple of reviews that also said the same thing and i didn't understand what that meant, but now I do. There are a lot of flavorless, just regular, small shards of ice in the bowl. On top of that, the moment I received my bowl, it was already borderline melted. So that got me thinking, how can it be melted and icy at the same time? The only explanation that I can think of is just ice additive/fillers. It's not pure cold acai or whatever is in the bowl you choose, but there's a mixture of ice in it too. Yes I understand, it's Waikiki, everything is more expensive, but the added topping prices on top of the already expensive bowl prices just don't make sense. You want a beautiful looking bowl with a lot of different toppings, yet some toppings can go up to 1 dollar PER topping. I don't know if I've just been spoiled by a couple places in SoCal, but at those places they have unlimited toppings and those bowls are the best that there is. I'm not bringing any bias from other locations, but this is just an honest review based on my experience today.
