Kai is a good breakfast spot adjacent to the lobby of the Sheraton Waikīkī. Wait for a patio table to enjoy the view of the ocean and the comfortable trade winds. Servers are very attentive and polite with Aloha spirit. Food is expensive but that goes with the location. Marriott Bonvoy members get a free continental breakfast option and a discount on menu items. I landed with the Koa Moco more than once and happy with the choice. Not so much the brisket Benedict or the potato hash. The line can get long but moves quickly. Overall a good choice to start your day.

11/7/2025 3.5 I've had breakfast here many times over the years, and it's always a pleasant experience overall. The outdoor dining area offers a beautiful view -- definitely one of the highlights of eating here. The service has consistently been friendly and attentive, and the food is always fresh and well prepared. That said, the portion sizes tend to be on the smaller side, and prices are definitely on the higher end -- though that's somewhat expected given the location in Waikiki. Still, it's a great spot to start the morning if you're looking for a relaxing setting and quality food, just be prepared for premium pricing and modest portions.

Kai Market is a breakfast restaurant located in the Sheraton Waikiki. They're open until 10:30am. They have outside and inside seating, both with good views of the pool area and beach. The menu covers pretty much anything you could want for breakfast, and they even have rice available if that's your thing. Everything I've tried here including the omelet, the scrambled eggs, and the eggs benedict has been absolutely delicious. Service was excellent every time we went...super friendly and attentive. Great option for a relaxing breakfast and super convenient if you're staying at the Sheraton Waikiki. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

American Brkfst w/bacon, eggs, green salad(my choice), ice coffee, $13. UPGRADE, free breakfast for elite status totally not worth it.

Staff friendly, welcoming and still sat us down even at 10:15am, they were closing at 10:30. Breakfast upgrade from free breakfast for elite bonvoy status is only $13-17. Worth the upgrade as the free continental is only 2 small pastries, small yoplait yogurt, a little granola and a bowl of fruit...NOT satisfying, way too sweet, and with minimal protein.

The so-so sit-down breakfast restaurant at the Sheraton Waikiki. As a lifetime Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member, I received a voucher for free breakfast each day of our stay. The free breakfast was the most pathetic complimentary breakfast for Bonvoy elites of any Sheraton/Marriott affiliate I've encountered in a hotel at this price point. It consisted of coffee, Yoplait yogurt, a tiny ration of musli, toast, a ration of fruit (some good, some should have been tossed out), and carbs (store bought and stale croissant and pastry). A truly pathetic breakfast. The first day of our stay the service:was abysmal. For example, our waiter didn't want to give us the option of white or wheat toast. Our waiter served our breakfast without giving us utensils. Our waiter refused to acknowledge our request for more coffee and ignored us. For the next few days, service improved. On our last day we had an early flight to catch, and the restaurant was not open at 6:00 a.m. Ambiance: open air near the ocean, nice setting for breakfast Overall cleanliness: above average

Kai Market is the Sheraton Marriott's breakfast spot. It overlooks the water which is very nice. The complementary breakfast for Marriott platinum elite members includes yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, a croissant and a croissant pastry. You can also order coffee and juice. Plenty of seating inside and out. Very attentive and quick. If you want to order more food, you can upgrade for an additional charge.

I had the omelette which came with onions, tomatoes and mushrooms inside it, as well as melted cheese on top. The ketchup I added after. Along with orange juice and breakfast potatoes. Overall the food was great and a solid way to start the day The staff were all very nice and our server was prompt. We didn't have to wait too long for our food to be delivered. The open air patio/seating area is very nice with a great view of the ocean. Right next to the pool. Would be 4 starts but was a little overpriced, otherwise great!

It's ok. We went there for breakfast. Food wasn't exceptional, but it was good. Staff was friendly. There were birds flying around and stuff, which I enjoyed somewhat. I kept thinking that they were gonna steal my food.

Overpriced last choice that takes equally as long as everywhere else. Pet peeve: creamer pods Pet peeve: packaged pastries Pet peeve: yoplait yogurt Seriously? If I wanted to eat this for breakfast, I'd go to the local convenience store.

Ask the Community - Kai Market

Are they doing dine-in or outside seating?

    Both

How much is the buffet for kids?

In reference to the sunset lanai, I understand the minimum for reserving the space is 30 people. My question is, if we reserve for a birthday dinner at 5:30 p.m., how long do we have to use the lanai?

I saw that Tuesday and Thursday they serve Snow crab legs. Does anyone know this is true? I can settle for snow crab instead of king crab

Sometimes the menus change. Why don't you call them to find out? Even if you saw an online menu, it might have changed recently. You know that the Kai Market doesn't routinely publish their menus for online review.

Do u serve crabs on the weekdays?

No. Check the menus. If I recall correctly, there are 3 -- M,W; T,Th, and Weekends.

Is there any Kama'aina discounts for weekend dinners?

Yes; I believe so. The 25% kamaaina discount applies to all meals, 7x24.

Honey drizzle which wasn't too sweet...or maybe I just ate the parts that didn't have. Baby ate almost 1.5 pieces and even liked the Jalapeno Butter that I just dabbed on her bread. She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. Great dinner...but if anyone is listening...bring back the shrimp and grits!!!

We came around 4PM and were surprised it was almost empty (but slowly it did get busier). Our food came with complimentary bread with guava sauce. It was really good! The bread is toasted, crispy, and buttery. Everyone in my party enjoyed it. We did not expect our food items to come in really large portions. I loved the chicken karaage! The batter was light and crispy with great flavors and had a yummy sauce drizzled on top. It also came with a scoop of rice, buttered corn, and Mac salad. Mac salad was delicious! Prime rib sandwich came with salad and au jus sauce and a side of salad. It's good but also very filling. I didn't try the burger or teriyaki chicken but was told both were delicious. After dinner, we ordered a few items from the bakery to eat on the plane. You have to take a number and wait for them to call it. I got 2 kouign Amannn, 2 Dubai coco puff, and half dozen green tea puff. The kouign amann is a circular croissant. I liked that it was soft and flaky and had a sweet, crispy glaze over it. The Dubai coco puff had a strong pistachio crunchy flavor but I thought it was way too sweet for me personally. The Star of the show are the green tea cream puffs! I would come back to just order that! The top filling tasted like a thick creamy brown butter green tea-flavored icing. The filling inside doesn't taste like brown butter and less thick but still really good. Overall, they had really good food and items from the bakery. Highly recommend the infamous green tea cream and chicken karaage dish! Customer service was quick and professional though I felt like our server wasn't that friendly lol.
